It seems pointless to fight for something that you've already lost

As David's words shocked everyone, Draken smirked....he didn't have to do anything, David was a hopeless case.
"David, what are you talking about! Were you the one who caused Draken's accident?" One of the old board members asked.
"No! No! I'm just surprised by my brother's sudden reappearance.." he pretended.
What an idiot!
"Well, it doesn't matter anymore, Draken's back ..David, you have to step down as acting President of Ouracle" the board was hell bent on making him resign.
"It can't be....I've worked hard...." David was cut off.
"Your wedding to Samantha was called off...you left Ouracle in a crisis, is that what you mean by working hard?" The board snapped at him.
Draken was just enjoying this.
"It's clear Samantha wanted to marry Draken, not you, your usefulness to Ouracle ended long ago, you need to step down" they continued to say.
They had all ganged up on him, no one was taking his side.
"Fine, I'll step down as President..." He finally came to his senses.
"But this is not over, Draken" his last words were directed only to Draken before he stormed out of the room.
"Welcome back President Draken" the board members were happy to see him.
He took his seat before the discussions begun immediately.
" The chairman went into a comma after your disappearance, and he's still in a comma, the partnership with Dave Corp is still pending because the wedding was called off, Ouracle is now in a crisis"
Was there anything he wasn't aware of?
"President, we still need the partnership with Dave Corp, and now that you're back, ita better you get married to Samantha Dave"
What??
"Ladies and gentlemen, with your approval, give me time to fix Ouracle and get the partnership with Dave Corp without an arranged marriage" Draken replied.
How could he get married? He already was.....to the woman he loved.
"We trust you Draken, Ouracle is safer in your hands, how long do you need?" they asked.
"A week...give me a week" he replied.
Did he already have his plans for Ouracle?
"The chairman must have had good reason to give you this position, he must have had confidence in you..." His dad's oldest friend said.
"Thank you for being considerate...I won't let you down" Draken reassured them.
He was back, and this time, he was back to stay.

Emma went back to her home .. exhausted from trying to look for Draken.
She looked at the pictures they had together and the ring she wore, that symbolized her marriage. The bracelet he once bought for her while she was at the hospital...every memory just wanted to make her cry.
She hugged the teddy bear Draken bought for her.....Abel was the name they'd given it together.
"You know what Abel,,,,I have a feeling that your dad didn't disappear, he just ran off and left us.." she poured out her feelings in complete sadness.
As she was still sulking in her memories, she heard the door bell ring, and stood up to check who it was.
"Delivery for Ms Emma..." It was Erick and Shaun dressed as a delivery men.
These men
" I didn't order anything..." She tried to say, but they cut her off.
"It's on the house Ms Emma.. .don't worry, you don't even need to pay" Erick said.
Whatever the case was, Draken knew Emma could never waste food, she'd not refuse to eat it.
"Ok...just bring it in" she said before they brought in plenty of meal boxes.
Wasn't that too much?
"Thank you" Emma thanked them before they left.
"Atleast someone remembered" Emma thought to herself.... settling down on the table to serve herself.
Even in food,she could remember how she always served Draken first before herself.
Oh God! She wasn't going to get over him that easily.

"Mom, are you serious Draken is back?!" Samantha had just got the news from her mother.
"Yes Draken is back... he's at Ouracle right now, my contacts there just informed me" she replied.
"I knew he'd come back. ..now we can get married...we were meant to be together" Sam got all excited.
That was her misconception...she thought Draken liked her because when they were still young and in school,he treated her a bit differently from the rest... at least, that's what she thought.
"I'll go and see him right now....I'll invite him to my birthday party as my date" Samantha thought to herself.
Her birthday was coming up, and her dad would also be around the coming days. It was perfect timing.
"Sam....you just called off your wedding with his big brother and caused chaos in their company, do you think he'll have the time for you" her mom pointed out.
"Mom, it doesn't really matter....I called off the wedding for Draken, he'll understand" she said.
"He'll marry me..." She was stuck in fantasy.
Little did she know the man she was obsessing about was in love with someone else and already married to the person she considers to be trash....her elder sister, Emma.
If she found out, she'd be taken as a joke... first it was Draken, now also David had gained interest in her...she was like a magnet, pulling attractive men towards her like the Hunt brothers.
What was so special about Emma?

~~~AT OURACLE~~~~
"Boss, Shaun and I already delivered the food to Mrs Emma, like you ordered." Erick reported to his Draken.
They were currently on his office.
"Is she alright?" Draken asked more calmly.
"Boss, I won't lie to you.... your wife is completely sad without you" Erick overreacted.
"When do you plan on going back to her, you didn't even tell the board that you're already married" Erick said.
"I want to protect Emma from all this, it's not yet time to bring her into my world... she's safer not knowing anything" Draken's voice was lower than usual.
"But boss, Shaun told me, your brother already met with Mrs Emma...."
"What did you say?" Draken asked surprised
"He planned to tell you sooner, but your phone wasn't reachable" Erick replied.
Now this news left him hanging,if David was approaching Emma then all this would be useless....she wasn't safe as he wanted her to be.
