Chapter 4 - Here We Go Again

"Thank you, Mr. Emperor." Audrey said with a slight bow, she then paused before asking innocently, "How can I send you the payment?"

As her words resounded through the endless gray fog, Casper froze. He seriously hadn't considered that before. It wasn't like he could say, "Oh there's this account I use. Just deposit it there. The ID number is 21602360."

Yeah he definitely couldn't do that.

His current act as a God would thoroughly be exposed.

Considering all of this, Casper closed his eyes before saying nonchalantly, "You don't need to pay right away. When the time comes, I will tell you."

Upon hearing his words, Klein worked hard to suppress his chuckle. This guy is a fraud! God? More like someone pretending to be one.

Klein thought, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. Any true deity would have given an honorific name by now.

Casper looked at the haughty Klein and couldn't help but grit his teeth. Don't act like you're better than me, godamnit! The only reason you have an honorific name is because you have a cheat!

So, The Emperor is not at the same level as Mr. Fool? Audrey and Alger thought, furtively glancing at Casper.

Casper noticed their gazes and wanted to shrivel up and die. Stop it! I'm just a hard worker with no cheat. You don't know how hard it is out here! Damn you, Klein! I'll definitely take my revenge.

He made a vow silently.

Soon the Tarot Club meeting came to an end, Casper dismissed himself from Sefirah Castle the second Audrey, Alger and Derrick left — not wanting to answer Klein's questions.

Back in the real world, Casper sighed. Today was definitely a good day, now he dreaded tomorrow.

So who's gonna be jumping me tomorrow? A demigod or an Angel? Maybe a True God will descend.

While he was able to join the Tarot Club today, and make an enormous amount of money. All in thirty minutes.

Such a fortuitous encounter made him shiver in fear.

There was always a price for what fate bestowed.

"I should probably start writing my will, there's a reason I became a lawyer." Casper muttered with a sigh.

Just then, the hair on his body stood up.

Casper straightened with a shiver as a cold feeling erupted in his stomach.

Suddenly, his body pulsed blue as a strange symbol appeared on his left hand. After a moment, his body leaned against the seat lifelessly.

For the second time in less than thirty minutes, Casper had been whisked away to a completely unknown place.

"Nooow…what!" Casper yelled loudly.

Looking around, he found himself in front of the entrance of a majestic palace. The ground seemed to be a large square, the size of a football field where Caster was at the outer edge.

Below him were thirty two other layers, each with different buildings.

"...This!" Casper muttered, his eyes widening in surprise.

This was the Sefirot, Nation of Disorder!

How the hell did I connect to two different Sefirah's in a single day? Casper thought silently while walking towards the grand palace.

The palace was a colossal structure, its architecture both breathtaking and unnerving.

Towering spires jutted into the pale gray sky, supporting a vast dome that was the roof of the entire palace.

The palace was entirely made of clearly cut black marble, with exquisite reliefs decorating the stygian pediment and broad frieze.

Though its magnificence was completely concealed by a blueish black fog that surrounded the place.

At the center of the palace was a long, bronze table with ten high-back chairs on either side in a symmetrical arrangement.

Behind the seat of honour was a large grandfather clock that stretched to the tip of the ceiling.

"What a peculiar thing." Casper muttered to himself as he made his way to the seat of honour.

He traced the armrest of the seat before seating himself without further adieu.

Out of the blue, the second Casper sat on the seat. The large grandfather clock behind him rang — its chime reverberating through the silent hall.

In North Borough. Inside Saint Samuel Cathedral.

Daly Simone sat on one of the many tables, books scattered around, almost as if she was researching something.

She suddenly had an urge to reapply her makeup, bringing out her pocket mirror to check her lipstick.

The bronze mirror she held in front of her face suddenly glowed with a blue light, engulfing her completely.

In the Fog Sea. In one of the cabins of a wide boat.

The Strongest Hunter of The Fog Sea, Anderson Hood started inspecting one of the recent treasures he gained from an expedition — a long sword that was crafted with dark steel.

Its hilt was ornate and intricately carved with symbols, at the center of the blade guard was a large luminous ruby — supposedly the blade originated from the Tudor Empire.

Out of nowhere, the blade suddenly pulsed blue before swallowing him completely.

In the great palace, Daly Simone slowly regained her sight, adjusting to the darkness.

She started reckoning the situation in a state of horror and confusion when she noticed the blurry image of a man on the opposite side of her doing the same as well.

Immediately after, the both of them discovered a mysterious person sitting in a tall high back chair who was shrouded in dark mist.

This mysterious person was none other than Casper Walsh.

"Huh?" He muttered under his breath, looking at the two new individuals.

Wait, does the Nation of Disorder have a chat group function too?

"Sir, where is this?"

Daly asked, as Anderson nodded, glancing at the mysterious figure secretively.

They then followed up in unison.

"What are you planning on doing?"
