The man, who was holding the woman's arm gave her a look of disgust. He had seen this woman countless times. Apart from her appearance, there was nothing good about this woman. She lacked all the qualities of a female. If he hadn't known any better, he would have thought her as of a man.
One of his party members yelled, "Why are you here?! We will do whatever you want!"
Another one yelled, "Yeah! You can fuck off! We don't need you here! Besides, do you have the right to be here? You are a freeloader—"
Before he could complete his sentence, Alexandra smashed the chair on his head, knocking him down.
She then grabbed another chair, and smashed it on the one who was holding the woman's hand.
"What the hell—"
"You—"
Alexandra slammed them through the tables, breaking them in the process.
Rubbing her head, she snorted, "I am not a freeloader! Besides, I don't care... what you lot do... but just don't do it in front of me," she turned towards the woman, "I saved you."
The woman's eyes glistened with tears as she nodded. She just wanted to hire some adventurers to help her but she didn't expect that she would encounter bad people. Thankfully, this woman saved her.
Just as she opened her mouth, the orange haired woman said, "Well, then give me my fee. You also think of my 'fee' as the reward for saving you."
An awkward silence spread throughout the entire bar. Everyone was looking at her with blank eyes. The woman's clothes were full of holes, yet she was still asking for money. How could anyone be this shameless! Alexandra yawned and opened her palm. She continued, "Put some money. Hmm... I am not picky about money... I just need two or three gold coins. You are here to recruit some adventures, aren't you? So, you must have some money with you, right?"
The woman, Jenni looked at Alexandra with a blank look like the rest of the people present in the bar.
She lowered her gaze and said, "I have... a gold coin only."
Alexandra frowned lightly and asked, "A gold coin only? Then, you must have some silver coins, right?" Did this woman think these adventurers would do her work for a single gold coin?
Jenni shook her head in denial and didn't say anything.
"ALEXANDRA! I WILL KILL YOU!"
Alexandra flinched in fear.
'Shit! Shit! The old woman is here! She will kill me if she catches me. Ah, let's escape from here!'
"Oh, Yumi... ha-ha-ha... I have some work! Bye!" With that, Alexandra dashed out of the bar. She just needed to lie low for some days before the old woman calmed down.

The streets were bustling with life. Shops were present on both sides of the road. Some were designated stores, and the rest were open stores, indicating the difference between their status.
Ironically, people didn't care about that. If any store gave them good stuff at reasonable price, they purchased from that specific store.
Alexandra yawned and ran her hands over her hair. She was sleepy, yet hungry. Even if her brain wanted her to sleep, her stomach didn't allow her.
Suddenly, a sweet smell entered her nose.
Alexandra's stomach growled. Clutching her belly, she looked around her, trying to find the sweet smell's source. At that moment, she spotted a dessert shop.
'So, that's where that smell came from. Ah~ I really like sweet stuff. Should I go in there? But my pockets are empty. Hah, why is my life like this? Even the gold coin was taken by the old woman! Doesn't she know how difficult it is to find a gold coin on the road?'
At that moment, she saw the same woman from the bar, entering the dessert shop. A wicked smile appeared on her face. Well, it didn't matter if she lacked money... that woman should have some, right? Otherwise, she wouldn't have entered the shop.
Keeping that in mind, Alexandra walked into the shop. Surprisingly, it was empty.
She looked straight and saw the woman discussing something with another 'woman.'
Was that really a 'woman?'
'She' had short blonde hair and blue eyes. 'Her' skin was flawless as a wet rose. 'She' had a button nose which suited 'her' pretty well. Where did this 'beauty' come from? 'She' turned towards her and said, "Oh, a customer!"
The woman also turned towards Alexandra and exclaimed, "You! Why did you come here?!" she grabbed the 'woman's' arm, "Uriel, because of this woman... I lost our only gold coin. The bar lady took the gold coin because this woman broke some tables and chairs in the bar. On top of that, she ran away! Brother, I had to pay because of her!"
"What the hell! It's just not my fault! I saved you, didn't I? Add that part too! And this 'woman' is your 'brother?'"
A dark aura emitted from the 'woman'... nope, 'man' in front of her. He gave her a sweet smile which made her to take a step back.
'Is this karma? I just wanted to eat some desserts! Should I run away?'
"I-I... a-am sorry... I saved you, didn't I? Then... n-no need to p-pay me... okay? Just consider... that g-gold coin... as the payment. So, n-no need to p-pay... me. I s-should go..."
"Wait!" said the woman's brother.
Alexandra gulped audibly. She truly didn't want any trouble... and that woman's brother smile was too scary.
"W-what?"
The man said, "You saved my sister, right?" Alexandra nodded and looked at him with suspicion. "Then as a reward, you can eat a dessert from my shop."
"R-really?"
The man nodded, "Yes, I am not joking," he turned towards his sister, "Jennie... tell me what happened. Don't leave any detail... otherwise, it won't end well for you."
Alexandra ignored them and turned all her attention into dessert selection. Her mouth watered seeing different types of desserts lined up. How could she choose?! Each of them was seducing her! But the man told her to pick one, didn't he?
