Alexandra blinked twice. The others too blinked twice, locking their gazes at the orange haired woman. The only question that rang in their mind was— who the hell was this woman?!
"Oh, I was sleeping right there," said Alexandra, pointing to the right corner of the table. "See? I was asleep on that side of that table. But due to your constant bickering I had to move this side."
The bald man yelled, "Who cares about your sleep?! Also, where did you even come from?!"
Alexandra yawned and turned towards him. She asked, "What type of hair products do you use?"
"What?" Why was she asking him that question?
"Ah, that's because I don't want my hair to be like yours. There isn't even a single strand of hair on your head. I feel sad for you. Even your friends have more hair on their heads than you."
The bald man yelled, "What the hell are you talking?! What does it matter to you if I don't have hair on my head?!"
"Didn't you hear? I don't want to be bald like you."
The bald man gritted his teeth and yelled, "You!" he turned towards his men, "CATCH HER TOO!" His men, hearing his words, immediately rushed towards Alexandra.
Shaking her head, she picked up a broomstick.
"Do you really want to do it?" Alexandra muttered under her breath. With a single blow, she sent launched the man into the air.
The others stopped, taking a few steps back.
"What the hell?! Did she send him flying away with just one shot?"
"Yes, with a broomstick!"
"I am kind... of afraid. Should... we attack her?"
The bald man yelled, "What the hell are you all doing?! She is just a woman! Who cares if she sent someone flying? Are you even a man?! Why are you afraid of a woman?! Go and catch her! Use your swords!"
Hearing their boss questioning their masculinity, they ran towards her, brandishing their swords.
Alexandra snorted, "Troublesome... really troublesome. Do they lack commonsense?"
Just as a man reached near her, she kicked him in the crotch. A cracking sound was heard, making them stop in their tracks once again.
One of the men who was very close to Alexandra, got hit by the broomstick, right in his balls. Another cracking sound was heard. The rest of the men clamped their knees, afraid that their balls might be targeted in the next attack.
Alexandra sighed, "Can we stop now? Are you really going to gang up on a defenceless woman?"
Everyone looked at her with a blank look. A single thought was in all of their minds.
'Who the hell is defenceless?! You destroyed the family jewels of two men without even blinking your eyes!'
Shaking her head, Alexandra said, "You can't win against me," she looked at the bald man, "Baldy, your friends are useless. They can't even hold their swords properly, and you expect them to fight me."
Pointing at Alexandra, he shouted, "WHO ARE YOU CALLING 'BALDY?!' AND THESE AREN'T MY FRIENDS! WE ARE MADAM ROSE'S MEN! WE WILL BURY IN THE GROUND YOU ALONG WITH YOUR FAMILY."
Alexandra smirked, "Hey, don't say something that you will regret in the future. Look at these men, they are brawling with me for you. At least, show some apprehension for them... otherwise, they might cry like those two on the ground. Besides, I don't know anyone by 'Madam Rose.' Who is she?"
The bald man flinched in fear. He had never seen someone like her. The woman in front of him was beautiful, there was no doubt about it... but that wasn't her main point. She possessed a lazy look... and a frighteningly despicable attitude. At first, he thought that she was an 'Origin' knight... or at least an adventurer. But she wasn't either of them. If she was, she would have reacted when she heard that they were Madam Rose's men.
"You! Tch, why are you fighting us for these two? Do you really want to make Madam Rose your enemy?"
"Madam Rose? Like I said before, I don't know anyone by that name. Is she beautiful? Sorry, but I am someone who appreciates beautiful people irrespective of gender. Keeping that in mind, I also don't like to see anyone cry, especially the ugly ones. They eyes hurt just by looking at them." Alexandra gave Jenni a brief glance before looking back at the bald man.
"Baldy, I don't care. You and your people can attack me... but you should know don't swing your fist if you are not ready to get punched, though in this case my 'broomstick' will be the one punching you... in your balls." Alexandra gave him a small smile.
The bald man took a step back and ran out of the store, followed by his men.
"Y-you... why did you help us?" asked Jenni. She couldn't understand why she helped them. Even if her brother could pay her... that didn't mean she should make Madam Rose her enemy. They weren't... worthy.
Alexandra shrugged, "Beats me. I don't know why I helped you. Perhaps, I liked your shop's cake. It was really tasty. Wait, it was at least 10 gold coins, right? Sheesh, I am really glad that it was free." She scratched her nose. "Or, maybe your crying hurt my ears... that's why I helped you... hmmm... I still don't understand myself. Anyhow, they affected my sleep... and I really hate people who disturb my sleep. So, they kind of deserved it."
Luipin, who was still tied up, looked into Alexandra's eyes and asked, "Just... because you liked... my cake... you hit Madam Rose's men? Do you even understand your words?"
"Hey, why do you care about trivial things?! I don't care about that stuff." Alexandra started walking towards the door.
Standing at the door, she said, "If you are really that sad, then feed me your delicious cakes. I will come here whenever I have no money left... and I am hungry. It's quite profitable for me to eat free cakes."
Saying those words, Alexandra left the store.
Thinking about the gold coin, Alexandra sighed, "Argh, I will have to find another gold coin to appease those two idiots! Otherwise, they will kick me out of the house." The night was still young, so that meant she could easily find another gold coin.
Yawning loudly, she began her search while thinking about Luipin's cake.
'That cake was really tasty.'
