AUTHOR'S POV
The sun shone heavily than before, the official house was a beautifully built skyscraper shaped like a tall black shiny egg, guards were strategically placed in every corner. Armed forces matched to and fro guiding the place. Important dignitaries came in and out of the building im their expensive wears unaware of the evil lying within the building. The Alpha squad led by Aron were already in the reception room disguised as normal cleaning staffs. Aron had a dark face cap on and an overall, he was holding a mop and cleaning trolley 🛒.
ARON'S POV
I carefully walked over to the receptionist who was busy chewing bubble gum and typing on her phone
"Um excuse me ma'm?" I smiled
She didn't even looked up, she just continued staring at her phone like there wasn't a human being standing in front of her.
I tapped the counter to get her attention but she still didn't bulge
Does this girl know who's standing in front of her?
"Hmmm" i just glared at her and then snatched her phone from her hand
That quickly got her attention
"Hey!" She glared at me
"I'm the new cleaner mr. Boma hired" i smiled
"So?" She hissed
"I just need a pass to clean the offices, which I believe is your job madam" i hissed back trying to control myself from hitting her
"Whatever" she bent down to open a cupboard, brought out a pass and then tossed it over to me
"Thanks" i grinned as I took it
"Whatever, can I have my phone back now?"
I handed her the phone which she snatched from me
"Also if you don't want to get fired, don't try this nonsense with me ever again" she hissed again
I just ignored her and continued pushing my trolley towards the elevator. I was in, the plan was going well.
The elevator finally stopped at the roof top and I quickly got out pushing the trolley. I got out my phone and dialled my men's code number
"I'm in, is the bomb ready?"
"Yes boss" they confirmed 👌🏻
"Good" i smiled
The plan was just going well, the bomb was already in place, my men were hidden in every corner of the building waiting to shot. Mon'itei won't be disappointed
I bent over and got out my gun from the trolley 🛒. I walked over to the edge of the roof and waited for the governor to come running out once the bomb started exploding
AUTHOR'S POV
Meanwhile in the governor's office, he was busy having a discussion with his PA, Amanda.
"...so tell the chairman to come with his people, we will handle everything" he said as he scribbled something on his pad 🗒️
"Alright sir. Um sir what about the press conference we will be having today, some journalists want to hear your say about the bomb incident that happened yesterday" Amanda said
"Tell them I'm busy, i really don't have anything to say. Everyone should just stay vigilant, i can't kill myself" he said frustrated
"Okay sir"
Amanda said and turned to walk out when the governor called her back
"Amanda"
"Yes sir" she turned towards him
"I want you..."
Boom! He was interrupted by a deafening sound coming from the lower floor
"What the hell was that?!" He panicked
Amanda just rushed towards the window and looked down to see everyone running in different directions in panic. Her heart started pounding in fear as she turned towards her boss
"The building is under attack boss!!" She yelled
"What?"
"We need to get you..."
Before she could finish, a bullet pierced through the glass window and into her head. Her body fell with a loud thud as blood flowed all over the floor. Governor Martins screamed like a woman as he watched her, the office door suddenly flew open and his security men entered
"Governor, the building is under attack. We need to get you out of here now!" Amir his personal guard said as he grabbed the governor who was still shaking in fear. They rushed him towards the elevator door, Amir pressed the door waiting for the elevator to open. He took a quick glance at the shaking governor
"You'll be fine sir" he said
"I hope so"
The elevator door finally opened but bullets suddenly started flying out of the elevator; the gun men were in the elevator. Amir quickly grabbed the governor and dodged the bullets, the other two guards were hit and immediately died on the spot. Amir and the governor ran down the stairs while the gun men kept shooting at them. Amir being a former and repented Boko haram general was able to shot the gun men dead before they could get to them. As they finally reached the lower flloor, they raced towards the front door. Bullets from unknown places were flying everywhere, people were screaming and running for their lives, some were dropping dead as the bullets hit them. Amir and governor Martins were already at the door when a second bomb exploded, the pillars holding the reception hall collapsed and crashed on people, Amir who was still holding the governor jumped out of the hall flying over the front stairs and then crashing on the floor.
"Huh huh" the governor gasped in between his breaths as he looked at the building, smokes were coming out of it. He knew in a few moment, another bomb would explode and vapourise them. He quickly stood up looking around for his car, Amir who was already ahead of him, found the car. He dragged the injured governor towards the car but unfortunately when they got there, they saw the tyres were already punctured
"These people are really calculative and smart" Amir said trying to catch his breath
People were still running though the bullets had stopped coming, for some strange reason everywhere suddenly remained calm except for the sound of people running and screaming. Martins thought in his mind that maybe they were gone but unknown to him, Aron was at the roof aiming for him with his gun
"Boss you need to leave here" Amir said feeling strange
"There's no car and I think the chaos is over" Martins said foolishly
Aron slowly cocked his gun, targeted the governor's leg and smiled
"Time to meet your jugde governor Martins" he said and then shot him
"Ahhhhhh" the governor screamed in pain as the bullet hit his right leg
Amir quickly caught him before he fell, he dropped him on the ground while looking around for the shooter. He knew the shooter would target him next
Aron smiled from where he was as he saw the governor lying on the ground in pain. He loaded his gun again and then targeted for his personal guard. He was the only obstacle between him and capturing the governor. He positioned the gun very well, cocked it and then shot the bullet towards Amir's head but Amir smartly dodged it, Aron was shocked. He started shooting at him again but Amir hid behind the car
Amir loaded his own gun, he carefully looked at the side mirror of the car and saw the assassin kneeling at the roof top. He smiled...bingo. The bullets were still coming at him but he hid behind the car waiting for the perfect opportunity to make his move
Aron was still shooting angrily, he didn't like that this stupid guard was able to doge his powerful bullets.
"Shit" he cursed under his breath
The bullets suddenly finished and he quickly bent to load it. But Amir who had his sharp eagle eyes on him suddenly saw his opportunity, he raised his gun, targeted Aron's unaware head and then shot him. The bullet missed his head and then pierced his left chest. Aron screamed in pain and fell from the sky scrapper....
