"Sanemi, behave. There's a child present."
"I am behaving. I'm just showing your son how serious I am about you."
Tanjiro rolls his eyes.
"Giyuu-san, I've seen worse things in anime."
Giyuu sighs and leans back against Sanemi, giving up on trying to maintain decorum. Sanemi wraps his arms around Giyuu's waist and nuzzles his neck.
Giyuu chuckles softly.
"You're impossible."
"Alright, I'm going to bed before I see something scarring. Goodnight, Giyuu-san. Night, Mr. Shinazugawa."
"Night, brat."
Tanjiro heads upstairs, leaving the two alone again. Giyuu once Tanjiro is gone, turns to face Sanemi.
"Finally alone."
Sanemi's hands start to wander under Giyuu's shirt.
"Sanemi, we shouldn't..."
"Why not?"
Sanemi kisses Giyuu's neck.
"You were the one who said you liked being teased."
Giyuu shivers at the kisses, trying to maintain control.
Sanemi bites gently down.
"Stop fighting it. I know you want me just as badly as I want you."
Giyuu gives in slightly, tilting his head to give Sanemi better access.
"You're insatiable..."
Sanemi growls and pushes Giyuu down onto the couch, hovering over him.
Giyuu looks up at Sanemi with half-lidded eyes.
"Not here... the kids might come back down."
"They won't. And if they do, I'll just have to make you scream louder."
"It's getting late, maybe you should go back home. Genya is already waiting for you. Tomorrow the weekend starts and we could do something like a family trip."
Sanemi reluctantly pulls away, his expression softening at the mention of his brother.
"You're right. Genya's probably worried sick. But a family trip sounds nice."
He stands up and helps Giyuu up, fixing his clothes.
"I'll pick you all up tomorrow morning. Don't make me wait too long, Giyuu."
"Bring Genya with you." Sanemi smirks and nods.
"Will do. He'll be thrilled to meet you properly."
He heads to the door, pausing to steal one last kiss from Giyuu.
"Get some rest. And lock the door after I leave."
"I will. Drive safe, Sanemi."
Sanemi opens the door and steps out. "Goodnight, my watermelon."
He winks and walks to his car, waving before getting in and driving off into the night.
"WATERMELON?!"
Sanemi laughs loudly as he drives away, knowing exactly how flustered Giyuu must be.
Sanemi shouts through the window.
"That's what I'm calling you now!"
Giyuu stands there, dumbfounded and blushing furiously, muttering under his breath about annoying math teachers and their nicknames.
Meanwhile, Sanemi texts Genya on his way home.
Sanemi:
Get ready for a family trip tomorrow. You're coming with me to pick up my boyfriend and his kids.
Genya:
You are gay and have a boyfriend?! Than why the fuck did you flip out when you fine out that I am gay?! That isn't fair!
Sanemi:
It's different, Genya. I didn't want you getting hurt like I did. But Giyuu is special. And he has two sons and a daughter, so we're going to be a family.
He adds another message, knowing Genya will be upset.
Sanemi:
Don't give me attitude. I'm still your older brother and I can ground you if I want to. Geny sends a picture of himself flipping Sanemi off with a middle finger emoji
Genya:
Whatever. At least I have a boyfriend who actually treats me right.
Sanemi snorts and responds with a picture of his own middle finger and a smirk
Sanemi:
Watch it, brat. And I treat Giyuu just fine. Better than fine, actually.
He arrives home and parks the car, still smiling at the banter with his brother.
Genya:
So you aren't mad at me anymore?
Sanemi softens a bit, remembering their earlier argument.
Sanemi: I was never really mad at you. Just scared. But I'm trying to be better. For you and Giyuu.
He gets out of the car and heads inside, thinking about how much has changed in such a short time. Genya texts back with a heart emoji, which Sanemi rolls his eyes at but secretly appreciates.
Genya:
I love you too, big bro. Now go get some sleep. You're gonna need it if you're going to deal with all of us tomorrow.
Sanemi:
Love you too, little shit. And don't stay up too late. Where are you anyway?
Genya:
I'm at my boyfriend's house. Don't worry, we're just gaming.
Sanemi: Which boyfriend? You have multiple now?
He is jokingly. He plops down on the couch, kicking off his shoes. Genya answer with a thumb up. Sanemi almost drops his phone in shock
Sanemi:
Genya! How many?! And why didn't you tell me you were polyamorous?!
Genya:
Chill out. It's only two. And I didn't tell you because I knew you'd freak out like this.
Sanemi:
Two?! I'm definitely meeting them tomorrow. And I'm not freaking out... much.
He runs his hand through his hair, feeling overwhelmed by the information.
Genya:
Well... one it Muichiro Giyuu's stepson and Inosuke. That was the guy which I was making out. I am at Inosuke's.
Sanemi:
Muichiro? As in the quiet kid in my class? The one who always falls asleep during tests?
He stands up abruptly, pacing around the living room.
Sanemi:
And Giyuu's stepson?! This just keeps getting better. And Inoske the boar kid? Seriously?
He groans and sits back down, burying his face in his hands.
Sanemi:
Genya, you have terrible taste. No offense to Giyuu, but Muichiro is a disaster waiting to happen, and Inosuke is just... wild.
Genya:
You're one to talk about terrible taste. Look who you're dating.
Sanemi:
Hey! I'm perfectly normal compared to those two. And Giyuu is amazing, thank you very much.
He starts texting Giyuu about this new development, feeling protective of his brother again.
Sanemi:
I need to have a talk with all of them tomorrow. This is too much for one day.
Giyuu:
Sanemi, calm down. They're good kids. Well, Inosuke is... enthusiastic, but he's harmless.
Sanemi:
Enthusiastic? He broke the school window last week! And Muichiro sleeps through everything! How am I supposed to be calm about this?
Giyuu:
You'll see. They're all very attached to each other. It's kind of sweet.
Sanemi:
Sweet? Giyuu, they're a walking disaster waiting to happen. But fine, I'll try to be nice. For Genya's sake.
He sighs and sends another message to Genya.
Sanemi:
You better be home by 10 or I'm coming to get you myself.
Genya:
Yes, Dad. Whatever you say, Dad.
Sanemi:
Don't call me that. And I mean it about 10. No exceptions.
He turns off his phone and heads to his room, thinking about how he's going to handle this family trip with all these kids now.
