Ruby had thought about it over and over again last night.
No matter what Julien's intentions were in forcing her to stay in the mansion, she couldn't possibly remain by his side with that kind of title.
She had missed her chance yesterday. However, today, she wouldn't repeat the same mistake again.
If negotiation was to fail, she should at least find another identity for herself, one that could properly justify her presence without raising any unnecessary suspicion.
Ruby was more than prepared to face the unpredictable madman once more. Unfortunately, the exceedingly moody prince seemed to have other plans in mind.
"Miss Ruby, I apologize but the Master hasn't been in a good condition lately."
After waiting by the couch for quite some time, Hans returned with that piece of bad news.
'This… is he avoiding me?'
Ruby lowered her gaze to hide her expression, before lifting them again to ask Hans.
"When will I be able to see him, then?"
