With that decision made, Kai headed into his library.

Weeks turned into months, and months into years. He didn't leave a single martial art unmastered, and he didn't skip a single profession: farming, teaching, construction, and many more. He went all out for ten years. When he was done, all those professions fused into a single skill:

Then he changed his goal to the magical side and invested another ten years into it.
Kai was amazed, the magic system in this world was no less powerful than the Ki system. The only problem was magical affinity—everyone had one, but each person's affinity was different and much harder to train. According to the history books he'd been studying, Namekians had an extremely high magical affinity without even realizing it. Most of their "techniques" were actually magic spells:
Object Creation, Healing, Potential Unlocking, Assimilation, Fission, Soul Manipulation, Evil Sensing, Clairvoyance, and many more.
Because these abilities had been fused into their bloodline, modern Namekians believed they were just racial traits. In a way they were… but fundamentally, their source was still magic.
After filtering centuries of history, Kai discovered that some spells and abilities had once interfered with the fundamental laws of the universe, alarming divine beings (Whis, Beerus, the Kaioshin, etc.). Most magic users who crossed those lines were eventually destroyed—either by Beerus or by their own recklessness.
"Lucky for me, none of this has anything to do with me. And with my Gamer ability, I'll be able to learn and master magic easily. Even messing with the laws won't be a problem. In here, I'm the boss. Not even Zeno can affect me or detect me," Kai said with a smug grin.
He went all in, learning everything related to magic—spells, rituals, alchemy, and more. Most of his training felt more like a game, since the more he used magic, the faster he understood it. But the further he progressed, the slower his growth became ( not really he just didn't think that 10 years will be enough ) affected He was forced to choose between raising his magic skill levels or learning new ones. That put him in a dilemma.
He thought back to all the cartoons and anime from his past life… and then he found it: the Self-Cloning ability from Invincible.
In a world like Dragon Ball, that ability was a lifesaving cheat. If his clones could use the Gamer ability too, he would grow at insane speed—an army of himself to raise levels, master skills, and fight. Even if they couldn't use the Gamer ability, he would still gain infinite sparring partners, teammates, and a reliable trump card.
After all, the greatest opponent you must surpass is always yourself.
Kai didn't waste time. He summoned Rose.
"Come out, Rose. It's time to play," Kai said to the dragon-ball bracelet on his wrist.
The bracelet glowed brightly, and with a flash of light, Rose appeared—graceful and beautiful as ever.
"It has been a while since our last meeting, Master. I hope you are doing well," Rose said.
"Thank you, Rose. I called you because I need something… and if this works, it won't be long before I can empower you beyond even the Super Dragon Balls." Kai said, excited.
"You only call me when you need something. I feel like a tool… you don't care about my feelings at all, Master," Rose said with dramatic mock-hurt.
"Hahaha, well my girl still needs her rest and her energy is limited, so I didn't want to disturb her unless necessary. Besides, you're my wish-granting dragon. No one can take your place, so chill out, will ya?" Kai replied, unfazed.
"Oh? So you do care? I forgive you… for now." Rose teased.
"Thank you for your forgiveness, dear Rose. Your heart is still shinier and purer than your beautiful eyes," Kai teased back, making her blush lightly.
"Okay, listen. Here's the ability I want." Kai said seriously, recalling the specifics of Self-Cloning.
After listening carefully, Rose fired a beam of light at Kai's body.
"Alright, Master. Check your skills. Tell me if this is what you wanted, or if you need modifications. You still have two wishes left."
Kai checked immediately.

The user can perfectly replicate themselves at extreme speed. Clones are fully independent or can act in perfect synchronization, and all are absolutely loyal to the original. Clothes and gear are duplicated, and clones feel the original's pain.

"You won't wait long, Rose. My gamble paid off—the clones can use my ability. Things are about to get very exciting."
Kai created 100 clones and divided them into groups of ten, assigning each group a mission while others remained for sparring and training. Ten years passed without him even noticing, completely absorbed in growth.
Until a sudden notification appeared during a heavy training session.

He laughed as he opened his new status window.

"Cool. Now I can proudly say I'm an all-rounder," Kai laughed heartily. His clones continued moving around the dimension—some training, some building, some maintaining machines, and others browsing through his massive library, studying the knowledge of ancient civilizations.
Kai didn't just train during those years. He upgraded his dimension, created multiple planets filled with life—from Jurassic beasts to mythical creatures to normal animals and fruits and vegaybles even his senzu beans farm have become more like a forest now—and rebuilt lost Saiyan technology: healing chambers, spaceships, command centers, and more in short he have revived the Saiyan civilization the only thing missing now is the Saiyans but he was never gonna let anyone into his dimension , well exept his family ofcourse. With countless clones managing everything, he didn't even need to lift a finger; he would continue growing stronger no matter what.
He then used his power to upgrade his Dragon Balls bracelet, raising their level far beyond even the Super Dragon Balls. With this upgrade, Rose could move freely throughout his dimension, and the previous three-wish limit disappeared. Now, he could make infinite wishes as long as they weren't beyond her new power—like wishing to fight Whis on equal footing. Anything below that, Rose could grant without ever running out of energy.
After upgrading, Rose was more excited than a child. She flew straight toward the horizon, exploring the vast world with one of his clones as a guide. Kai let her enjoy herself and went home—it had been 30 years for him, thanks to the time dilation in his private dimension. Only six months had passed back home. They would definitely be shocked by his new appearance. Good thing Rose was with him.
"Hey, Rose, before you keep playing, can you give me the ability to control my age?" Kai asked as he teleported beside her.
Rose didn't bother answering. She simply granted the wish and continued flying.

Kai used the skill, reverting to his 20-year-old appearance before teleporting home. But not before ordering a group of clones to start grinding the new skills and learning divine techniques too. He wasn't planning on fighting Beerus without Destruction abilities. Hehe was being smart. After all, if Beerus had used Hakai on Goku in the original story, he would've been erased instantly. So learning God of Destruction abilities, Ultra Instinct, and even Ultra Ego was mandatory before any confrontation.
