I walked back into my room after going through the pack like I've done for the past week, where it was silent and everyone looked like they were in mourning. I kept my cool because they acted as though they were mourning their fucking Luna and not some useless rag doll that bled a little and did some parlor tricks. I hadn't even fully recovered from the fact that Caleb—my Caleb—marked that bitch and took her to his room, made her his Luna directly. I hadn't accepted it yet, but it did happen.
