Chapter 3 - Changes in history

I figure I'm likely going into a losing battle regardless of what I do here I'm confident Piccolo wont cause to much trouble I'll let Raditiz deal with him but I need a real strategy for the great ape he's to strong for me to face directly.My mind starts racing with everything I know about dragonball and I can think of some effect methods that should help but they're mostly dangerous for me to even attempt considering how massive the difference in our strength is but I dont have much of a choice im not destroying the moon this is a good opportunity and I need to take advantage of it.I resolved myself and told Raditiz ill leave Piccolo to him when he finishes the battle come help me with support from a distance like originally planned I just need a distraction and I think I might be able to actually damage him if my plan actually works.I hide my powed level and start setting ki mines like Goku did in the tournament of power but over a much larger area I don't count on it actually doing much to him but it'll be nice if I need a smokescreen.Then I take a deep breath and remove my weighted shirt before I fly at the ape full power and ambush him shooting a full power blast into both his eyes it's about the only thing I remember being effective when Goku fought great ape Vegeta.Theres a loud roar of rage and agony as my blast makes contact I know I don't have time to let him recover so as soon as he shows signs of pain I gather as much ki into my fist as I can while charging towards him as fast as I can slamming my fist into his nose.My attack doesn't do much but I can tell it hurt him a bit at least his face seemed to be the most vulnerable from what I could tell It was the only part of him not covered with dense fur that seemed to be resistant to attacks in the show.I can feel my power climbing from the attributes the ape drops from my attack it's about the only thing that stops my legs from shaking in excitement and worry of failure.The ape finally recovered looking at me with a pissed off vicious look as it opens its mouth shooting a mouth beam towards me.Thankfully it was the one attack I was prepared for and could anticipate as it's the only ki blast move ive seen a great ape use and I move to dodge the second his eyes locked on me.As I still narrowly manage to avoid it I can't help but think the second that thing manages to hit me im gonna be in serious trouble I probably won't go down right away but I don't think I could take more then one attack either.The z fighters had already arrived watching my battle from a distance in awe not sure if they should jump in to help knowing they'd be useless anyway and probably just get in the way and also not knowing who's side to help.Then they see Piccolo fighting Raditiz and brutally getting beaten the fight isnt close in the slightest but Piccolo does better then he did against Raditiz last time but he can't do much against Raditiz in a one vs one.My luck just gets worse and worse I think though as the Z fighters suddenly erupt in a purple sinister aura too now there power multiplying pushing them to 2800-3500 power level as they all rush towards Raditiz now.I'd be worried about him but I don't have time to be as the great ape dives towards me landing just before me it could easily swatt me from this range.I put my hands to the sides of my face and close my eyes yelling,"Solar flare" as a bright light emits blinding the ape once again.I know the ape is stronger then me and faster then me but he's bigger too meaning I can't possibly miss from this range as I spike my ki to the max firing a barrage of ki blast at the beast til I'm out of breath.The attributes are only a little more then before telling me that all out barrage didn't do much and knowing I don't have time to keep attacking I try to create distance flying towards the ki minefield I laid as a trap earlier.Moments later the great ape recovers and sees me flying away and follows me now set on squashing me thoroughly pissed as it unknowningly falls into my trap.The thing about the great ape is it's not like fighting Gohan it's fighting a mindless beast because Gohan can't control it so its not hard to ambush it or lay a trap like this for it.A huge rumble shakes the entire wasteland along side a powerful wind an earth shattering explosion as I set off the ki bombs.This time it seems to actually do some damage but I wasn't done I put my hands in front of me gathering a ball of ki with all the ki that I can for as long as I can.While in the smoke screen I know this is my last chance to actually hurt this thing once it recovers and the smoke screen is gone all I can do is run.In my last life before a Goku died to the heart virus he taught me something the spirit bomb but honestly I wasn't all that interested in it.Instead I focused on the process it was made by gathering natural energy and I used that to make a move of my own one I'm very proud of.As I continue to pour all my ki into a ball infront of me I push against it burning my hands like hell to condense the ki sphere as it continues to build up ki but barely growing in size thanks to my efforts.I start gathering natural energy from the earth while I'm doing this and channeling it into the sphere and my hands keeping them from really getting that damaged reinforcing them while I do this.The idea is to condense the power into a small point building up it's power like the special beam cannon which having a faster charge time by adding the natural energy.My power level rises steadily as the sphere starts emitting a high pitch sound.The sphere is red from the heavy concentration of ki a lot like the 10x Kamehameha as the smoke screen fades away revealing myself to the great ape.We lock eyes for a moment the great ape letting out an angry roar jumping towards me as I let out a smile."Come get it asshole"then right as the ape gets in striking distance I let out a yell forcing the ki to erupt in a beam all at once shouting,"Spirit Nova" a huge beam shoots forth engulfing the great apes face head on followed by an agonizing roar.The ape reels back now clutching it's face as I breathe heavily now out of energy I take one of the 3 remaining senzu beans to regain my energy glancing at Raditiz so far half the Z fighters have been defeated but right now Raditiz is being overwhelmed by Tiens multiform technique.Raditiz manages to land a hit on one the dropping an attribute before the system sounds in my mind Ding! Host has gained the multiform technique and that's the one notification the system gives me i don't drown out ignoring the power level gains.I smile looking back at the great ape,"guess I do have another plan after all" I use the multiform technique splitting into 4 weaker versions of me 3 fly off to help Raditiz while the main version of me flys further away from the ape knowing now I really can't take a hit til my clones form back with me so I need to make distance while the ape is still in pain.Raditiz bloody and struggling against the onslaught against Tien and the rest of the Z fighters doesn't think he'll be able to beat them this time when all of a sudden 3 forms of me counter 3 forms of Tien completely overpowering them my 3 clones being much stronger then his.Raditiz grits his teeth now being able to focus not being attacked from all sides and launches toward Krillin.Krillin uses solar flare blinding Raditiz and fires a beam hitting him in the chest.Raditiz flies back blood dripping from the corner of his mouth as he regains his senses he looks on at Krillin now pissed before saying,"Let's see how you do against your friends technique worm" then uses spirit ball to attack Krillin.The spirit ball technique isn't that complicated so Raditiz could use it after it was used against him seeing how it worked as he overwhelmed Krillin with it repeatedly injuring him with it.Krillin's sinister aura flares up boosting his power again now at 3500 he destroys the spirit ball and raises his hand above his head thin spinning circle appearing above him.Krillin has only just begun to make this move he wouldn't use it if he was himself right now but his mind being affected by the sinister aura he shouts,"Destructo disc" and launches it at Raditiz.My clones just finished beating Tien as they hear this turning around and flying towards Raditiz telling him to dodge but knowing they won't make it to him in time as the destructo disc draws dangerously closer to him.An arm pushes Raditiz out of the way immediately getting sliced off after my clones and Raditiz look at who save him only to see a beat up and heavy breathing Piccolo no longer engulfed in sinister aura.After being beat Piccolo stopped being affected by the sinister aura and so did the other z fighters that were defeated Piccolo was just the first to get back up.Raditiz looks back at Krillin firing a ki blast at him sending him crashing to the ground beaten the sinister aura disappears around him.My clones form back into one with me after seeing the battle with the Z fighters was over and the z fighters look on at me facing the great ape in awe and shock they remember everything that happened while they were under control and seeing the tactics used against the great ape.Beyond that they're even more curious about my Spirit Nova technique they don't have much power left and right now they know we aren't going to attack them so they decided to help support me against the great ape.They prepare to destroy the moon when Raditiz stops them telling them that I would've destroyed the moon earlier if I was afraid of the great ape and that I specifically told him not to.Piccolo retorts by saying,"Are you crazy he'll die there's no beating that thing" but immediately after Raditiz responds,"Then he'll die the two saiyan's coming here can transform without a moon too and can control the transformation take this chance to learn this forms weaknesses while you can."Piccolo and the Z fighters eyes widen at this revelation before deciding that Raditiz is right if they don't need a moon to transform then need to take advantage of this moment to figure out how to defeat them.The great ape stops howling in pain and clutching it's face right as I remerge charging towards me full speed.I continue to fly back rapidly shooting ki blast at Gohan as he starts to close the distance between him and me being faster then me from having a higher power level.When he's just one leap away from me I charge forward right as he jumps flying between his legs shooting ki blast at the back on his knees staggering him.The z fighters and Raditiz continue to blanket him with ki blast and there strongest blasts as I let out a nervous breath at what I'm about to do not knowing if it's gonna work.I rush towards Gohan's tail wrapping it around him and flipping him causing him to slam heavy onto the ground attributes fly out of him like crazy."I can't believe that work or that it was that simple I thought that would only work in the games" I then fire ki blast at him Rapidly as he's down while he slowly rises up.At this point he looks nearly beaten but I'm out of plans all I can do now is delay and attack and hope it's enough as Gohan once again charges at me.I use multiform again splitting into 5 versions of me with it being enough to still damage him at the power level after all power level attributes I picked up and I continue to fire ki blasts at him with 4 of them the 5th clone readily another spirit Nova even though it'll be much weaker then before considering the clones power level.Gohan successful defeats the other 4 clones being stronger and faster then them before looking around for me once again but not seeing me from above him.Now no longer being a clone my power level surges back to what it was as I continue to charge the spirit Nova when Gohan looks up a spots.Hiding above him didn't save me much time but it was better then nothing my other clothes had split up before and hid behind mountains popping out to attack him before they were destroyed buying a decent amount of time before then.I can't believe how weak the spirit Nova still was though I made a mental note to myself to remember that it takes forever to get the spirit Nova charged enough with a clone the split in power level also splitting the power of the attack.After all that time and it was only charged to where I could've charged it in 30 seconds still stronger then my other attacks but I really needed more this wouldn't be enough to take him out even if it's significantly getting stronger now.Gohan fires a mouth beam at me seeing my attack and instinctively not wanting a repeat of last time.I grit my teeth letting out a curse as the beam approaches having no choice I fire the spirit Nova at it the beams collide in the air the entire wasteland rumbles from the the struggle."Give me your energy" I yell to everyone Raditiz immediately does the rest of the Z fighters hesitate for a moment before doing the same knowing there's no other way that they can't beat him.My spirit Nova slowly is pushed back as I struggle with everything I've got it slowly getting pushed back slower and slower as I get there energy.They run out of energy any more and they'll pass out but this only cause the beam struggle to become even now.My whole body tenses my arms are beginning to grow numb I can't hold on for much longer."Damn it I won't lose here I'll change the future no matter what"a yell followed by a roar as I dig into everything I've got in me and force it into the blast pushing back the mouth beam winning the struggle.
