Rias, with Akeno at her side, launched herself into the air, heading straight toward the largest cluster of intruders.
Their main targets were Rias and Sona.
The moment they appeared, swarms of Fallen Angels and rogue Church members rushed toward them.
Akeno smiled sweetly—far too sweetly.
"Ara ara…I can't let you get any closer."
A massive magic circle formed overhead.
A thunderbolt thick as a pillar struck down from the sky, blasting through the incoming Fallen Angels.
Rias floated beside her,A crimson magic circle on her palm.
Magic bullets filled with destruction burst forward, ripping through enemies.
The two held the sky in a fierce stalemate.
Izumi crushed a low-rank Fallen Angel with a backhand strike and scanned the battlefield.
The upperclassmen fought valiantly, stabilizing the situation.
The first-years had almost all evacuated.
Izumi then spotted several… familiar faces.
