Riley was speechless. She just stared at him for a few seconds, trying to understand how he could act this way. This man was truly delusional. He had kissed her without her consent, and now he wanted another kiss. What was wrong with him?
She turned to Rina, who stood in the far corner with her head bowed. Riley understood at once that she didn't want to interfere.
But what Riley didn't understand was herself. On a normal day, she would have slapped this man and given him a piece of her mind. Yet here she was, sitting there and wondering if he actually liked her or if he was mistaking her for Tiara. The thought annoyed her, but it also confused her.
"I am sorry, mister Kol," Riley said as she stood up from the bed. "You are my patient and I am trying to tolerate you. Please know your limit."
