"Aura Field - Golden Dome!!!"
As he said these words, enormous amounts of aura started pouring out of the staff forming a cylindrical shaped boundary. The walls of this circular boundary were covered with wind so violent that if touched, could obliterate the fingers in an instant.
Aura field. I didn't think the old man could pull a level three aura technique. If it's like this, I might get to enjoy myself.
"You've caught my attention old man! Bring it on, don't disappoint me now."
"Ken! Be ready, you'll have to fight him head on. Don't hold back, give it your all!"
"Yes, master.
Aura Channeling - Seven Trinity Shadow!"
A thick black aura covered Ken's entire body and in an instant he disappeared. With his left leg aiming for the neck, he reappeared right in front of the enemy.
"Thud!" In a split second, the right arm of number 8 blocked his kick without any effort.
Ken disappeared in the shadows again attacking from multiple angles. All his attacks were blocked instantly.
"What is this old man? I was all hyped up to fight you but you sent your lackey who's only good at hiding.
Don't tell me, you're just a defensive fighter?"
Damn it. That demon figured it out faster than I imagined. It is true, although I can use level three aura technique, it's only for defence. If I was in my thirties or forties I could face him head on but with this old body, all I can do is confine him in this area.
Ken is holding his own because the enemy isn't attacking but at this rate he won't last long.
"Tck. He got me all excited for nothing. If he won't attack, I'll end this right now!
Aura Enhancement - Kyomu Style Basic Attack!"
Moving his arm backward, he threw a straight punch. Ken dodged the punch but it slightly grazed his face.
"Cmon, shadow guy! Just let me hit you and we can be done with this pathetic illusion of a fight."
Ken attacked with an upper punch. Number eight grabbed his wrist and punched him in the stomach. Ken used his shadow technique and moved back.
"Ough! Ough!" Ken coughed as he vomited some blood.
"You stupid brat! I told you don't hold back. Attack him with the intention to kill or you'll be the one dying here!"
Master Tomoya is right. I thought I could fight him with my normal attacks but he is too strong. I made the mistake of underestimating him.
"Seven Trinity Shadow Style - Blood Crystals"
Bright red aura covered his forearms and lower leg forming hardened crystals. He disappeared in the shadow and attacked with a kick to the head by jumping in the air behind him.
"Thud!" He put all his power into the kick. Upon contact the crystal on his right leg broke. He disappeared in the shadows again.
"Now this is pissing me off," said number eight as he became more alert to counter the attack.
Ken kept attacking him from all directions. Some of his attacks landed, some were blocked. He kept getting faster and avoided any direct hits. His calculated attacks made the enemy move near to the edge of the barrier.
Annoyed by this, number eight directed an immense amount of aura inside his body to aggregate in his forearm. He focused on Ken's movement and with his keen sense pinpointed the exact location of the incoming attack. In a fraction of second of Ken appearing in front of him, he attacked with full power aiming for the face.
He smiled as the blow connected, only to find out that it was just a mirage of Ken.
This gave Ken an opening and he attacked with a fast horizontal blow from both his legs crystallised together. The attack connected hitting the chest, pushing number eight backwards.
The wall of fast moving wind grazed his back, tearing up his clothes and peeling off his skin. In a few seconds that he was in contact with the moving wall, his bones shattered instantly and blood poured out of his body.
He quickly moved forward regaining his footing.
"I'll have to admit I didn't think you had it in you, shadow guy.
You've done well to injure me but behold the true power of a god, the likes of which you can not comprehend!!!"
He smiled as he was looking directly at both of them. His wounds healed as the muscles and bones regrew slowly leaving both Ken and Tomoya in disbelief.
"I'll show you the real power of third level aura technique!"
He closed his eyes and said, "Aura Materialization - Palm of God"
Taking a firm stance, he pressed his palms together forming the Anjali Mudra pose. Following the clap sound, a pair of giant iron hands appeared in the air pressing Tomoya inside. The wind barrier started to fade away.
Another pair of giant hands appeared instantly crushing Ken.
The sound of bones breaking followed thereafter. The barrier disappeared completely…
