Harry arrived soon after the battle finished. He had a small lycan riding on the back of the horse, her fox ears twitch the moment she sees me.
"Gramps, how are you doing?" She hops off with a rush, standing before me with a swaying tail. "Your so tall." She measures her height against mine.
"I'm not tall, your just short. And do not call me gramps." I watch as Harry stands beside her with a slouch.
"Lilly has agreed, I guess we are getting the guild back together."
"Damn right we are." Lilly punches the air. "With Roving Phoenix at my side the whole world will suffer." She talks like we are the bad guys?
"The guild?" Sophia hops into the conversation unannounced. "Wo, you're a Kitsune." She touches Lilly's tail with a smile. "So he has finally decided to get the all mighty Roving Phoenix back together."
They both look at her with awkward eyes. Harry whispers in my ear. "That's an NPC right?"
"She is my wife, there is no need to be so rude." I speak causing him to jump back with shock.
"The eternal virgin has a wife?"
"Mister V card protector got a wife?" Lilly screams.
"Eternal virgin?" Sophia tilts her head. "He has well…" She clears her throat looking away.
"These two idiots are my former guild mates." I gesture to them. "And Harry might not look it, but he is one of the best mages in Elith."
"He?" Sophia scans him up and down.
"My man, no stealing allowed." Lilly gets defensive for no reason.
Harry just rubs the back of his head. "Pist, don't call me a man in front of them." He says with shame.
"Me and him go way back." I ignore his cries for help.
"Way back?" Sophia questions, her eyes becoming wide like a light bulb went off. "So you are an immortal mage. I have heard of them, but never seen one myself. It makes sense why you would have another immortal for a wife."
An immortal mage, what are they? Simple, in the second age a group of mages stumbled onto the cure to mortality, but ended up hiding it in fear of what may come from such a thing. However some of the group used it before it was hidden, and they all are really tough boss fights. It came in the magic and ruins update.
"Did you hear that?" Lilly smiles. "She thinks we are married."
Harry sighs. "I am one of those mages you speak of, I am surprised you figured it out." So that is the backstory, the world choice for the strongest fire mage. It is probably even superior to mine and jacks combined, it effectively gave him a title of god hood, as each of those mages are superior to all. Though that is only a title, he is still just a level 103 mage.
Level 103, human, Harry the Fairy.
Level 58, Kitsune, Lilly.
Both of them were founding members of the Roving Phoenix guild, and Harry, back in the day, held the title as number one mage, being twenty one on the world leader board.
"I see you also leveled up." I speak with pride.
Harry just glances above my head. "You only got that high by piggy backing on others. Big sis is already level 124." Yeah because she is a freak, it isn't easy to be the number two player in L&L.
"You want to know my backstory." Lilly speaks, but we have already begun walking away. She hurriedly catches up. "My father is king of the Kitsune clan, and I…" She stops the moment she realized no one was listening.
We all arrive in the cafe, taking seats opposite each other. Sophia on my side, and Lilly on the other.
"Have you contacted the other guild members?" I ask.
"No, but they have contacted me." He taps the table rhythmically. "I'm sure most will be in on the rebuilding of the guild." They contacted him not me, I see how it is.
"I'm so excited." My hands are shaking.
Sophia glances at me with curiosity. "Should I abandon my guild and join yours?"
Can NPCs join player run guilds? I suppose there is no reason they cant, as we are no longer in the game. But… "Would that be wise, your guild is currently holding up this city, if you leave they would most certainly drop it."
"You joking?" She laughs. "Those shit faces would still listen to me, even if I wasn't the leader." She is so passionate.
"If you want to join so badly, then just join." I complain.
Harry looks at me with hesitant eyes. "Is that wise?"
