Head pov-
Something is off, why were Nami and Xiang acting strange? they've always been strange but today.. I thought as I walked with Hoa.
"So, terms?" I started.
"Well yes, this year, we teachers thought it'd be a good idea for the students to get 2 weeks instead of one" Hoa polished his tie. "Since it's a 6 week school term"
"Hm, I'll add that." I replied. "The ladies I brought from the healing program have potential, don't you think?"
"Yes, indeed, thalia is quite amazing, she shocks me every time, even without magic, she's powerful."
I kissed my teeth quietly. "Oh yes! Thalia, King Emerald's daughter, it's no surprise." I smiled.
How is it possible that she's strong? The eden empire has no strong females, they're all under his control. I might have to ask him.
"What about that other girl, her friend?"
"Nerina? I heard lots from Nami, she's extremely hardworking." I replied, trying to hide my interest.
Nerina? Even her name is odd…
"Oh look we're here, let's deal with the term dates." My face changed as I unlocked the door.

"Hah! Seriously!? The water group brought two girls, one boy against us!?" Minho laughed.
"Wait, isn't that Princess Thalia's friend? She's strong isn't she?" Joon gasped.
"Hi everyone!!" Kyomi played with her hair. "I'm looking for a flag, do you two have one?"
"Yeah, under my pants, who said I can't hide it?" Minho laughed.
"Gross," Nerina cringed.
"Cool! I'll check your pants later" Kyomi said, making water shaped rocks. "After taking the flag of you!"
"There are three 2 boys" Kento whispered "Omi, Nerina it's just them two!"
"What are you? A tracker or something?" Joon sighed. "That's annoying," he said, turning the floor to quick sand.
"No Kento!" Nerina held his hand tightly.
"What's wrong pretty lady? Can't use magic?" he coaxed.
Nerina glared. She controlled the water from her sweat and water from her pouch and made a weak ice shield.
"That water won't do anything, I can just attack from the ground. He said putting his hand in the sand.
"Nerina, use your magic! I promise everything will work out!" Kento announced sinking deeper.
Nerina's eyes sank. "But.. "
"Yeah girl, don't let fear," Kyomi said dodging Minho's magic. "Control you!"
"What are you three talking about? Stop strategizing and fight me!" Minho said, throwing rocks at Kyomi and Nerina.
"You can start, I'll block his rocks." Kento said making bubbles made from water.
"Right" I breathed. "Don't let fear control you" Nerina repeated, feeling his hand slip from Kento's grip.
"If I want to control this power, I have to learn slowly," Nerina's breath shook.
"Imagine your body, your blood around your body, then slowly move the blood to stop…" I thought.
"What the fuck? He just stopped moving? Who's freaking power is this!?" Joon's eyes widened. "Which one of you is controlling this shit!"
Nerina was too deep in her head to hear what Joon said. She slowly stopped the mud from flowing, she moved Minho's body like her own, pulling Kento up with her magic.
"Got it!!" Kyomi said, holding a flag.
"Hey- what?- huh!?" Joon exclaimed.
"You were too busy looking around, I saw it sticking out from your pocket," Kyomi explained quickly.
Nerina stopped her magic as she heard Kyomi took the flag.
"That was odd, he didn't speak like thalia did" Nerina thought.
Minho groaned, his body slumped against the hard floor. "I feel weak" he slopped.
"What the fuck? You three are freaks man! Weirdos!!" Joon said running towards Minho
"Let's get you to Ravi, that nerd."
"Attention please, all the flags have been taken, the water team won, I repeat, all the flags have been taken, the water team won" the voice echoed again.

Earlier that day, after losing against Nerina's group my class sulked and made our way to lunch. My body regained its energy, Ravi and I were waiting for Nerina to appear.
"Sorry, I'm late, Nami wanted to have a chat with me" Neina said sitting next to us. "I'm so tired."
"Yeah same, and we ordered your food," Ravi said.
"Rina, have you been able to you know?" I whispered.
"I know?" she questioned.
"Turn into a mermaid yet?" I put my hand beside my lip, making sure no one heard me.
"No, I tried, something keeps appearing in my head." she continued. "From my mom, and another voice."
"This might be a clue! I'm not sure about why you can't transform but it could mean something!" Ravi's eyes sparkled.
"My mom's voice keeps echoing in my head to feel the water, and that sound… tells me to believe" I watched as she played with her food.
"One word? Believe?" I said.
"Oo yes, that's a clue alright." Ravi placed his hand on his chin. "I think you should follow it, we'll always be by your side if you're confused."
"Thanks Ravi. "
"Maybe it's something deep? You keep saying "believe" when you sleep" I looked at her food "you gonna eat?"
"Yeah…" Nerina said, while eating her food.
"True true… let's just keep investigating. I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this."

MINHO AND JOON POV-
"Who was that freak?" Minho glared.
"I don't know man, my body is just weak." Joon slopped.
"Freak?" the head said, appearing next to them.
"Head teacher!" Minho jumped slightly.
"Who's the freak?" he smiled. "Is it bullying? You know it's against the rules."
"We aren't bullying, it was during the event. Someone used their magic and Joon stopped moving"
The head's face changed into something strict. "Really?" he gasped. "And you didn't see who did it? Did they use their words?"
"No! It's either Kyomi, Kento or Nerina! Now that you say it, they didn't mouth the spell!" Joon said in frustration. "They were talking about someone using their power.
"Hmm.. odd indeed. Magic without words, very advanced…" the head said. "I want you two to do something for me" he smirked, restoring Joon's strength…

THALIA POV-
"Guys i need to ask my dad for money" I checked my purse.
"Ran out of money finally? You shop like a lion" Ravi said.
"I only have 200 gems left… someone help me, 200 is too low" I shook Nerina and Ravi quickly.
"I'll give you some of my gems?" Nerina opened her purse.
"What no! That's actually the worst thing you've said.
I saw her frown slightly. "Rina, that's your money, I'l just tell my dad to double what he should bring and I'll give you some!"
"Oh okay." She closed her purse.
"Guys that's the bell, time for bed!" Ravi yawned.
Timeskip to night
I remember that night, when they sneaked in, and nearly took it.
"Shush!" a voice hissed. As they entered from the window.
"I'm scared… we can get suspended" another voice echoed quietly.
"Now where is it…"his eyes scanned across the room, searching for something. "If I remember that man said it's shaped like earrings, really small and blue-" the voice spoke.
"Found it!" the guy said looking over at the shiny rod "I've never seen an earing so bright…"
"Stop looking at it and take it"
His hands moved quietly, each movement felt like life and death, Nerina moved, then Ravi, then me. Constant unpredictable rotation.
"Got it!" he said, holding the gem. "Ack-" he jumped, dropping the gem on the floor.
"Shit! Why did you drop it!" the other voice scolded.
"It burnt me!!" he said.
"You're lying, accessories don't burn people."
"How about you hold it then mister i know it all!" he slithered.
"Leave it" a voice erupted from behind them, an eerie, older voice. They turned around to see nerina green eyes flashed at them widely.
They both screamed
"What the fuck!"
"Urgh.. what the hell?" Thalia groaned.
"Let's get out of here!" They both rushed out of the window.
"I knew this was a bad idea!"
"What's going on? What's that noise?" Thalia stretched.
The glowing stopped, nerina's expression turning back to normal. She rubbed her eyes softly.
"What happened??"
"I don't know, whatever. I'm going back to bed" Thalia said lying back down on her bed.
