(Third Person POV)
Mikael reared back and swung his left fore-limb at Caro, smacking him as the Vice-Admiral tried to jump off the air. The blow was powerful enough to send him flying into the ground, causing a powerful shockwave that ripped apart the ground.
Mikael then began to walk towards him, his entire body seeping more and more layers of Heavy Oil, which was emitting steam.
"Let's handle this already." Mikael said, "I am not done here!"
Mikael charged towards where Caro was, who was emerging from the crater. He then reached him and swung his claws at him, trying to hit him with another swipe.
Caro jumped away and swung his leg, "Yea, right!" He said, his body bruised up, "I'm not so weak!"
"Rankyaku!"
The massive slice flew right at Mikael who took it without flinching, his armor cushioning the impact as he lunged at Caro. Mikael swung his entire body around, swiping his tail at Caro. While the marine was able to dodge the full brunt of the tail, the oil splattering was able to catch him, scorching his entire clothes.
"Tch...!" Caro grimaced in pain, "This shit is hot...."
Mikael turned around and opened his maw, snapping at Caro and trying to chomp him. Caro countered with a swift kick on the chin, jerking his head upwards as Oil flew everywhere, hitting the ground. Caro also got some more on his clothes, his officer's coat burning up as the oil seeped into the fibers.
Caro tossed the coat away and coated both his arms in Armament Haki, lunging up at Mikael and unleashing a flurry of blows.
"Grand Barrage!"
The attack was able to hit Mikael all over his dragon body, oil splattering everywhere as the armor was still active. The more and more he was hit, oil was sprayed everywhere and covered the battlefield. Many of the marines that were swarming the area made sure to stay clear of the burning field as Caro fought Mikael.
Mikael then swung his arm upwards, hitting Caro hard and sending him flying into the air.
"Gah!" Caro said as he straightened up and used Geppo to stop himself, flinging himself back down as he reared his head back, "Damn you!"
He swung his fist down at Mikael, who simply took the blow head-on, causing another shockwave. Mikael then pushed Caro off and swung his right fore-limb at down, slamming him down to the ground. Caro had used armament haki to shield himself against the attack, but he took most of the damage from the slam.
Mikael then reared back, standing on his hind legs and opening his mouth again, "You're too damn weak." He said, a cocky tone in his voice, "Basic Armament Haki won't finish me off."
Caro was getting up, "Like you can talk." He said, "You aren't using haki!"
"I don't need it." Mikael retorted as he fired another oil beam at him
Caro dodged away, watching as the oil exploded and sent several balls of burning oil everywhere. He then noticed that as the Heavy Oil fell down, it was quickly disappearing. The oil was burning up completely, being a flammable fuel.
"Hm....." He said as he ran towards Mikael, "Let's see here...."
He jumped up and charged up Armament Haki on his arm yet again, going straight for Mikael's chest.
"You can't do much!!" Mikael bellowed as more oil began to form around his body
"Grand Shot!"
Caro struck Mikael hard in the chest, but instead of using Armament Haki, he added Advanced Armament. The impact penetrated Mikael's armor and caused a powerful shockwave that sent him reeling back.
Mikael slid into the burning flames behind him, the entirety of his Oil Armor combusted into flames, which surprised him.
"Shit." Mikael said as he composed himself, "The flames...."
He could feel the heat coursing all throughout his body, the oil being set ablaze by the flames he had spread. He felt the impact of Caro's blow, causing his entire body to rattle, and he was a bit hurt by it. But that wasn't the Vice-Admiral's plan at all, to hurt him, that is. Caro wanted to get rid of the oil armor, but he wasn't sure if he could do so.
Mikael's body was on fire; the oil he had clad himself into was fueling the raging flames that didn't seem to bother him that much.
"He was this smart, huh?" Mikael thought to himself, "I'll give him that much."
Mikael walked forward on all fours, his wingarms slowly raised as he menacingly stared at Caro. This was a terrifying sight; a massive black dragon that was set ablaze, fire raging on his body, which was covered in oil.
Caro spat on the ground, "Alright." He said, "Now that your oil is dealt with, I can hit you properly!!"
He rushed at Mikael, launching into the air and swinging his leg at him, firing off a Rankyaku. The attack hit Mikael in the shoulder, causing some damage as the flames were slightly dispersed. Mikael followed up by swinging his wing-arm at Caro, nearly hitting him in midair. The heat of the flames was able to graze Caro, which caused him to wince.
"Tch..." He said as he used Geppo to stay above Mikael, feeling the heat, "You....you can't just take all of those hits and not budge."
Mikael walked forward, as if he was ignoring Caro, and made his way through the burning field and began to aim for the beach and the other Marines. As he walked, several marines were firing their guns and cannons at him. The bullets and cannonballs hit Mikael all over his body as he walked, unfazed by the attacks.
"Where is he going?" Caro said as he kept hopping on the air, "Oi!!"
From a distance, Newgate and Ganzui were watching, seeing that the marines were fighting the other pirates that were unaffiliated with them.
"What's he up to?" Ganzui asked
"Beats me." Newgate said seriously, "He's probably going to kill the other marines."
"What, he doesn't think he can take on that Vice-Admiral?" Ganzui asked, "I can shoot him down if you want."
"No, he's planning something." Newgate said while narrowing his eyes, "His Oil is burning up pretty good, causing thick smoke and steam that could suffocate the other marines."
"Yea, that's true" Ganzui said, "Probably a bad idea to stay close to him. He is taking the hits pretty good, he's a walking fortress. A burning one, though."
"Hm..." Newgate said
Back to Mikael, he stopped and reared back on his hind legs, opening his maw and charging up another Oil Beam. Caro noticed this and immediately shot towards him, charging up armament haki in his fist.
"No, you don't!" Caro said as he went for his left side, "I'm not going to let you harm my men!"
He swung his fist at him hard, but suddenly hit the massive wing-arm's hand, which Mikael raised at the last second. The claws then clamped down on Caro, the flames still burning and scorching his entire body.
"Arrgh!" Caro said, using Advanced Armament to try and shield himself, "Shit!"
Mikael then slammed him down on the ground hard and then without wasting another moment, he fired the oil beam right down at Caro.
"Whoa!" Ganzui exclaimed, "That was smart, he baited him!"
The two watched as the oil swelled up and exploded, flames flying everywhere as the marines shouted in panic.
Mikael straightened up, going back on all fours as he looked at the nearby marine forces.
"Who's next?" He said, a serious glare in his eye,
"Damn Marines...."
