Chapter 8 - Chapter 7

"I'll start by devouring the tastiest ones, you Two Heavenly Dragons!"

My roar was a declaration of war.

My body, kicking off the ground and charging, was a calamity in itself.

The mere shockwave of my movement completely altered the surrounding terrain, and hundreds, thousands of low-ranked soldiers were annihilated before they could even scream.

[Come then! Aberrant Dragon! This body shall burn your power until nothing remains!]

Ddraig released a breath toward me with a roar filled with delight.

It was no simple breath.

Amplified power was compressed into flames of destruction that hurtled toward me.

Simultaneously, Albion moved.

The authority of the White Dragon, seeking to steal half my power, washed over me.

But the Worthlessness of Belial writhing inside me deflected that authority as if mocking it.

"Grrrrr...!"

I did not dodge their attacks.

I took Ddraig's attack with my right wing and allowed Albion's assault to strike my left flank.

Crunch! KABOOOM!

Wings made of light and darkness were torn apart, and pitch-black scales melted away to reveal raw flesh.

Terrible pain clawed at my soul, but I sneered.

From the torn wounds, rusty-gold light immediately flowed out, regenerating scales and wings even harder than before.

Pain is just a familiar seasoning; it cannot kill me.

Using the recoil, I burrowed right between the two dragons.

And I began to indiscriminately fire off every power I had absorbed.

Claws made of shadow slashed at Albion's armor, and fangs of holy light bit into Ddraig's scales.

A breath mixing fire and frost spewed from my mouth, and dozens of tentacles made of Demonic Power burst from my back to lash at them.

Chaos.

My fighting style could be defined by that single word.

There was no system, no tactics.

Only instinctive movements designed to destroy the enemy before me.

[Kuh! What is this bizarre attack?!]

[His regeneration is annoying! Let's end this at once, Ddraig!]

[Alliance just for this once, Albion!]

The Heavenly Dragons were strong.

Having fought on battlefields for thousands of years, their coordination was perfect.

When Ddraig crushed my body with amplified destructive attacks, Albion dug into that opening to directly shave away my power and soul.

I died countless times.

My body turned to dust, my heart burst, and my head was crushed.

But each time, the Grail revived me.

Stronger, and more twisted than before.

The battlefield had become a stage solely for the three of us.

The armies of the Three Factions dared not intervene, standing dumbfounded as they watched the battle between three calamities.

A tight struggle.

No, I was being pushed back slightly.

But it didn't matter.

As this fight continued, I was getting used to their patterns and powers.

Little by little, very slowly, the scales were tipping toward me.

The moment to devour those two was drawing near.

It was then.

"Now!"

Lucifer's voice echoed across the battlefield.

The sky was dyed in pitch-black darkness as tens of thousands of magic circles appeared simultaneously, binding me and the two Heavenly Dragons.

At the same time, the legion of Fallen Angels led by Azazel poured down a rain of countless light spears from the sky.

And finally, the God of the Bible raised his hand.

"I shall eliminate you who bring chaos to this world."

A torrent of overwhelming Light Power, seeming as if it would purify everything in existence, engulfed the three of us.

[Argh! Cowardly bastards!]

[To do it like this...!]

The Heavenly Dragons had poured all their strength into fighting me.

They could not withstand the full-force strike unleashed by the leaders of the Three Factions.

I, too, was swept up in the attack, losing more than half my body, but thanks to the Grail, I recovered in an instant.

But they could not.

The massive bodies of Ddraig and Albion began to crumble away with the light.

No.

"No...! That is my food!"

My scream scattered into the void.

The bodies of the two Heavenly Dragons crashed to the ground, and in their place, two massive, pure souls capable of shaking the world revealed themselves.

Shining in crimson and platinum—the ultimate feast.

My Grail screamed in ecstasy, trying to suck in their souls.

But there was someone faster than me.

The God of the Bible reached out his hand.

What activated at his fingertips was not simple magic.

It was one of the laws constructing the world—the System of Heaven.

The System forcibly bound the souls of the two Heavenly Dragons and transported them to some unknown location.

In an instant, the banquet before my eyes vanished.

The Grail's thirst, hunger, and ecstasy turned into a cold scream in a split second.

"..."

I stopped moving.

The power of chaos that had been rampaging inside me fell silent, like a lie.

But it was the silence before the storm.

"These bastards..."

I slowly lifted my head.

My gaze turned toward the Four Great Satans, Azazel, and the God of the Bible.

"You dare... steal my meal?"

The thirst was gone.

The euphoria was gone.

Only one thing remained.

Cold, blue rage that felt as if it would burn everything to ash.

"Grrrrrr... Kahahahahahaha!"

I laughed like a madman.

The power flowing from my body began to rampage far more ferociously than ever before.

The target had changed.

"I will not forgive you."

I spread my wings.

"I will chew and devour all of you, down to the marrow."
