As the system rewards dropped. Ashira's Base was completely renewed again.

The electrified barbed wire and gate transformed once more, becoming twice as tall and thick! They gave off an incredibly strong sense of security.

A tower-like arrow tower protruded directly above her air-raid shelter. In her spatial storage, she now had a thousand tons of fuel and a very beautiful, luxurious armored vehicle!

Ash firstly released her armored vehicle. The camouflage-patterned, oversized armored vehicle exuded a cold, hard dominance under the sunlight.

Ashira immediately got into the vehicle to try it out. She had driven military vehicles quite a bit in her previous life; she knew how to drive armored vehicles! But she had never driven such a good armored vehicle!

With ultra-high off-road capability and protection, as well as firepower support, the armored vehicle was equipped with a small-caliber flamethrower turret, and both the engine and the flamethrower turret could run directly on fuel.

The tires, strengthened by the system, were even more durable than tracked steel plates! At the same time, they were also agile and fast.

The body strength was a hundred times that of an ordinary armored vehicle! Hidden plates were scattered around the vehicle body, and with a single press inside the driver's cabin, sharp spikes completely covered the armored vehicle.

Ashira could charge through a Zombie horde with this vehicle without any problem! This was indeed the most advanced and powerful armored vehicle! Nothing on the market could compare!

"Ahhh... Treasure!"

Ashira drove it around once, familiarizing herself with all its functions, then reluctantly got out of her battle vehicle.

After getting out of the vehicle, she headed straight for her tower. The interior of her air-raid shelter had already been expanded with a Second Floor staircase.

Ashira walked up the stairs and entered the Fine Crossbow Tower, her latest system reward! Eight long, strip-shaped windows formed perfect sniping windows, covering everything within a thousand meters of Ashira's air-raid shelter.

A 360-degree rotating fine crossbow was located in the center of the tower, with ten quivers of short arrows neatly stacked on the side, each quiver containing a hundred steel-tipped barbed wooden arrows.

Ashira picked up an arrow, placed it on the crossbow, and aimed at a bird within her domain.

"Whoosh!" The short arrow cut through the air.

"Puff!" A bird perched on the edge of her air-raid shelter immediately fell to the ground.

Ashira immediately took Storm and ran to where she had just shot the bird.

Ash crouched down beside the fallen bird, her eyes narrowing as she studied the clean shot. The arrow had gone straight through—clean, silent, efficient.

A small smirk tugged at her lips. Perfect.

She gripped the barbed shaft and yanked it free, inspecting the weight and balance.

"There was almost no sound, and the penetration is very strong. This is simply the most suitable weapon for the apocalypse." The satisfaction in her tone was quiet but unmistakable. Ash then used some effort to retrieve the barbed short arrow.

These were sustainable resources, so of course, she had to retrieve them and use them sparingly!

Ash walked back with Storm, feeling satisfied. Looking at her increasingly strong Base, she couldn't help but think that when the system just issued the rewards, she had only received an A-grade reward.

If she achieved a higher completion rate, would the rewards be even more? She then thought of the part she was missing. The Base combat power configuration was only 50% Because she only had Storm, One dog. Did this mean she didn't have enough dogs...?

It seemed she needed to find opportunities to take in a few more dogs later.

"Let's go! Storm, let's go back and eat!"

"Woof woof woof!"

Ashira returned to her fully upgraded air-raid shelter with Storm. After they had a big meal, Ashira started browsing the internet.

It was now the 3rd day since the apocalypse began. The internet was still available.

After the Zombie outbreak, the City's water supply was quickly affected. Countless Zombie bodies floated in the large purification pools of the waterworks, and the water source was infected immediately.

Electricity, however, lasted a bit longer.

In some smaller Cities, the power system was not well-developed, and it disappeared immediately after the Zombie crisis erupted. Cities with complete power systems could last from one to six months.

Ashira remembered that the electricity in City A lasted for three months in her previous life. Only after the power went out did the internet follow suit.

Of course, in the later stages, hardly anyone was online anyway. People who survived in the early stages still had some supplies, with water and food, and aside from going online while hiding at home, they didn't know what else to do.

A week later, their homes started running out of water and food, how could they still be in the mood to go online!

Bert******: "Help! I'm trapped in my bedroom, my parents are desperately banging on my door! I haven't eaten in three days! I've finished the last bottle of cola, can anyone save me?!" At first, the comment section exploded.

Some people typed frantically.

"Hang in there!"

"Try climbing out the window!"

"Block the door with furniture!"

Others just watched in silence, their own stomachs growling, eyes hollow.

By now, The internet had turned into a graveyard of desperate cries and no one could answer. Ashira scrolled past the message expressionlessly. Her eyes lingered for a second, then she locked the screen.

Help? In this world now, no one is coming.

__________

Ben****: "Does anyone here know the owner of unit A-101 in the Florally Building? My girlfriend has been out of contact for three days! I really want to know how she is now!"

__________

Kira******: "Huhuhuhuhu! The last bit of water at home is gone, there are still some snacks, but no water, what do I do without water! Huhuhuhu"

__________

Mindy***: "Didn't they say there would be rescue? Why have I been waiting for three days! And there's still no rescue!"

__________

Longing for Eternal Sunny Days: "Recording the third day of the apocalypse, the corridor is full of howling, the food in the fridge is almost empty, my dad told me to go out and find food for my younger brother and sister, he said if I don't go, he'll throw me out, I'm this old and have to contribute to the family, they are old and young, everyone wish me good luck! Fighting!!"

Ashira looked at the overwhelming variety of posts and noticed a record post by a girl named 'Longing for Eternal Sunny Day'.

She opened her published record homepage.

She had been sharing her life before the apocalypse. Ashira noticed that she also lost her mother early, her father remarried, and her stepmother soon gave birth to a younger brother and sister.

She simply became invisible in this family. Their family was lucky enough to hide at home and survive the initial stages of the apocalypse, but soon the food at home was not enough.

At this point, did she need to think any more? They would definitely push her out. It was also thanks to her being sold out and still being so optimistic, foolishly actually going.

Ashiy saw that the girl's latest post time was five minutes ago, and she typed a line on the screen. "First, arm your body, wear the thickest and strongest clothes at home, wrap your hands and feet three times with tape, wear a helmet and carry a bag, designate a route, the target is the nearest convenience store to your home, don't go anywhere else!"

"If you have a shovel or baseball bat at home, use these as weapons, if not, use a bed board, don't use a kitchen knife, a kitchen knife can't cut Zombies, and if it does, it's hard to pull out. If you encounter Zombies when you go out, hit them in the head, their weakness is the head, don't fear them, this is the early stage, you can defeat them if you overcome your fear!"

Ashira finished writing the last sentence and clicked the send button.
