As the sun peeked over the horizon, casting a warm golden glow across the neighborhood, Sora felt a mix of contented to each day he live here. A mother that was kind and caring, a wise and hardworking father that supports him and an adorable trickster which is a bundle of energy that will never make his life dull. Sora stood in front of his mirror, adjusting his backpack straps and smoothing down his navy blue blazer. Her mom called from the kitchen, "Breakfast is ready!" With a final glance at his reflection, she grabbed his bag and headed downstairs.
At the breakfast table, Daichi was already animatedly talking and swinging a toy plushie that he summoned using his quirk which is his favorite hero hawks. Daichi's quirk is summoning which he can retrieve objects that was touch by a certain substance he produced through his hands. Good morning Dai-chan looks like Tensei nii-san will be sad when he see this. He has no idea what I'm talking about and just ask why which I answer him that just the day before yesterday, you said that Ingenium is a cool hero which it's take only 2 days to be surpassed by Hawks with clear evidence of toys and plushie. Upon hearing it Daichi simple turns to my mother bashfully. After a quick breakfast, I walked to the station and take a train to school. The air was crisp, and the sound of rustling leaves filled the quiet morning.
Upon arrival at the campus, I stepped into the bustling hallway. The usual noise of lockers slamming, voices chattering, and the occasional shout of laughter. I glanced at my schedule which consist of Math, English, Science, History, and Art.
At lunchtime, Me and Tenya together with some of our classmates navigated the crowded cafeteria, searching for a place to sit. They finally found a table with a few other students who welcomed them with smiles. As I shared about today's issue about Daichi, Tenya said that Ingenium will not be lost in his heart as his favorite hero which make us laugh by his antics. A normal life of a student nothing fancy but nothing out of ordinary either.
Such ordinary days will change with one accident. One day after picking up Daichi from his school, on the way home I treated him with some ice cream. I pick the chocomint chip while Daichi has his favorite chocolate chip. He ask if he can try which I allowed him but an emotion of disgust shown on his face then asking me why I eat a toothpaste flavor ice cream. AHHHHHHHHH! This trickster how dare you question my palette and preferences. I just pinch his nose with a tissue saying there some in there even thou I am just lying to get revenge 😤😤😤.
Upon leaving the store and continue to walk near the corner alley, 3 masked guys with guns in their hand were running towards us. Seeing was about to happen, I immediately picked Daichi then run along the alley. I know that we can't outrun since I'm holding him so I decided to confront those masked guys and shout to Daichi to run and ask for help which in a good grace do what I said even I know he was scared leaving me alone since he wasn't aware I can show that kind of face. Without any warning, I release and gather vapor in my left hand then conjured a set of chains and immediately shot the chain located in my ring finger to those three masked guy. I knock the gun in the hand of one guy and the two immediately try to grab their gun in their hip holster. I didn't gave time for such actions and immediately smack them with the conjured chains and wrap them together tightly. Such control to me is like pushing a thread to a needle hole. Endless practice every day as a preparation for today's accident. Without giving them ample time to recover I use the chain in my middle finger to wrapped them for security purposes. My anger gets to my mind upon seeing the danger and the consequence if I'm not prepared for this world which strengthen the grip of the chains knocking them up. As I gather my breath and try to calm down but my anger still didn't subside. AHHHHHHHHH!!!! What a dangerous world I live. Even I, with my careful planning through minimizing my time outside to lessen risk of contacting villains in addition even our community where we live has the smallest crime rate in the country since we live near UA due to my father's job. Even monitoring villains in the news which provide me details to their quirks and location to avoid them. AHHHHHHHHH!!! I was complacent, I try to lean to outside factors without any basis that things may go wrong also not using my abilities to fully prepare myself for the foreseeable future. Such unwanted possibilities must be eliminated, my strength and power is still the best solution for unfortunate circumstances like today.
Upon decided on what to do , I immediately look around if there are any security cameras or people around the area which benefits me that this happen in an unsecured alley then use my right hand to release and gather vapor to conjure a book while maintaining the chains in my left hand. I open the book which shows a blank first page then immediately put it to person in the right. Upon contact to the pages of the book, the guy shows sign of consciousness. I do it again twice, a different page to each person. The person in the right shows fear in my eyes but I still continue the task I need to perform. I unsummoned the book to conjure memory gun. I concentrate and input specific memories in the bullet that my quirk was stolen last year while the second bullet was 2 years ago. I fired the memory bullets to those two unconscious masked guys while the person in the right shows fear upon seeing what I did though that his comrades died and try to struggle but such actions are futile. I conjured another bullet that put him to unconscious and forget what he see upon having a consciousness earlier and a memory of having his quirk stolen 6 months ago. Upon focusing my memory gun to him, I remember a good phrase "die and be reborn" then fire the gun.
As I try to calm my nerves, time passed by then suddenly Daichi rushed to me with tears in his face with a hero on patrol. I pat his head to comfort and to calm him and said everything is fine no one was hurt. Upon looking to me if I said is true and with a calm smile I said "Don't worry big brother is strong" and show him the long chains in my left hand which was still conjured and wrapped to the three unconscious masked guys. The hero calls the cops and upon arrival, perform their duties to escort these criminals and us brothers to their station for inquiry. My parents arrive when they were summoned since we are both minors with their approval, I tell them my testimony regarding the incident including the use of my quirk to incapacitate and wrap them with my conjured chains until Daichi returns with a hero. As I tell my testimony, my parents was shocked and was scared that such incident happens without their presence. Daichi and the pro hero was also asked to retell what happen to support my testimony. Upon seeing that there's no problem with my testimony and my quirk use during such incident was deemed legal based on existing provisions of the law that quirk usage is permissible in life-threatening situations for self-defense or to protect someone from imminent danger. I didn't use excessive force or acting with the intent to harm rather than just incapacitate. With such claims, we are not penalized and allowed to go home.
In the car, only the noise on the road is prevalent even Daichi who usually the source of commotion was in my lap hugging me still traumatized by the incident. Upon arrival at our home my father and I received a call Tenya and his father asking us with concern. We said that we are fine and nothing bad happens. We decide all discuss this with the Ida family since they will also be visiting tomorrow and it's a weekend and everyone was tired due to the incident. Daichi ask me if he can sleep in my room which I agree. While Daichi was sleeping besides me clutching in my shirt, I recollect my memories for today incident. I am already decided what to do based on my actions and there's only one proper answer.
