"Who?" A ghost of a figure melted behind me.
"AHH! Whoa, what the!"
Lyia had snuck up behind me, somehow not making a sound in the process.
"Who were you calling?"
"Uh… My roommate, I swear, I've mentioned her to you over text before?"
"Maybe…" She mused.
A smile grew on her face.
"Why'd you call in the middle of the night?"
This again… I swear, when she starts to have fun, she never lets up.
"She needed help wi-"
"Were you flirting? Oooh, bold Kea."
"What?"
Lyia took a seat on her bed.
"Don't lie to your sister now, you definitely are more than roommates. Oh, great, wise Lyia knows all, especially that 'goodnight'. That sounded pretty intimate." She chuckled, her assertiveness growing by the second.
*sigh*
"Oh wow, grown-up Kea, already intimate with a roommate. You've grown."
This is the slightly clingy, quiet, reserved little sister. In her own comfort zone, she is NOT my sister anymore. She is a whole new beast, constructed to target me specifically.
"Is it really so hard to just help a roommate turn on a heater?" I defended.
"No. Goodnight, Kea, I need that sleep for tomorrow."

"Err, I'm 15 now."
