"Hey, Lyia," I whispered, being careful not to wake even a fly.
Not a sound, she must be sleeping now.
Since I don't have a room, I am sleeping on the floor in Lyia's room, which used to be our shared room. It's big enough for two beds, but that space has long been occupied with other stuff.

My phone lit up in the void of night.
What? A message at 11 at night!?
I picked up my phone, the light illuminating the room.
"Ahh! Too bright." I staggered, my eyes stinging from the flash bang that was my phone.
I turned the brightness straight to 1 before looking at my notifications.

Nil? Have I seriously not taught her how to use the heater…

Call? Here? I don't want to wake up my sister, though… Ah, she's deep asleep anyway.

"Hello?"
"Keep it down, my sister is beside me."

"Sister? You never told me you had one." She whispered.
Why would I?
"Enough about that, show me the panel."
She shuffled over to the far back of the apartment. Among many things was a gray panel, several switches lay on the front, begging to be pressed.
"Ok, point and I will confirm if you're right."
"Yes, sir."
She pointed at several switches until each one was on. The sound of activating electricity sending loud chills through my body.
"Thank you, Kea. I am so glad you could help."
"It's… Not a problem. Bye."
"Wait… Goodnight, Kea."
