Recap & Intro
In the previous episode, Jay reached the 7th floor of the Demon Castle and confronted the terrifying Demon Commander. His Blood Army and Soulrender Sword had carried him this far, but the real test was yet to come…
Jay opened his diary, and a new page glowed before him:
"Two new swords unlocked — Aetherclaw and Infernal Edge.
You can summon your opponent as your army soldier, but only once."
Jay smirked, his voice calm but confident:
"I don't think I'll ever need that."
He roared, his voice echoing across the battlefield,
"Where is my friend?"
From the shadows, a cold voice responded:
"He's right here…"
A faint, weak voice called out, trembling:
"Jay… you came…"
Jay's eyes burned with fury.
"Yes! I'll kill this monster and save you!"
But the demon—Zarathor—turned to Arjun and coldly said,
"In two minutes, you'll meet your friend…"
In a single, merciless strike, Zarathor pierced Arjun with his sword. Arjun fell toward Jay, one hand resting on his shoulder, his voice weak:
"I told you… you should have stayed behind me…"
Arjun's eyes slowly closed.
Jay screamed, his rage and grief merging into a single, unstoppable force:
"YOU KILLED MY FRIEND… NOW YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE!!!"
The demon blood inside him surged uncontrollably, transforming Jay into his full demon form.
Zarathor laughed cruelly:
"How foolish… you don't even know how to control your powers."
He struck brutally. Jay fell, drenched in blood. With a final, powerful punch, Zarathor sent him flying toward the Monarch's throne.
Suddenly, the diary in Jay's hands opened by itself. Words appeared on the glowing page:
"Old Protagonist has reawakened."
A man appeared in the hall. His face mirrored Jay's exactly. With a single strike, he obliterated Zarathor—the castle shook violently under the force.
Jay, still shocked, whispered:
"You… who are you?"
The man's voice was calm and deep:
"My son."
And just as suddenly, he vanished.
Jay fell to his knees beside Arjun's lifeless body, his eyes burning with determination:
"I must become even stronger… so that I can protect my friends and family."
He whispered softly,
"Reawake."
The Commander's body stirred. Slowly, it rose—and alongside it, the Blood Army reemerged onto the battlefield, ready once more.
