Hunter rubbed his temples and eventually calmed down. He waited for 30 minutes before he went back to their room. He climbed the bed immediately he got in. Claire who was in bed was surprised on seeing him on the bed.
"You are supposed to be on the floor."
"No. I want to sleep here. "
"Get on the floor before I kick you out, right now. "
"I am not leaving this bed. It's very comfortable."
"Leave right now. "
"I can leave and go sleep in another room. Your father will be very interested to know why we are sleeping in separate rooms. "
"Are you threatening me?"
"I am not sure about that but since you feel threatened then let me go to the guest room. "
Hunter said that and got out of bed and headed to the door.
"Come back. "
"Pardon me. "
"I said come back. You can sleep on the bed. "
"I want to sleep in the guest room. Let me leave."
"I won't speak for the second time Hunter. " She threw him eyes to show him that she really meant it.
"I am coming back right now."
Claire climbed out of the bed and Hunter climbed on the bed. Minutes later, Claire came back with three pillows and a duvet.
"What are those for?"
"I am going to use them to create a boundary between you and I"
She said that and put the pillows and duvet on the bed, creating enough space for both of them.
"You've got to be kidding me."
"It's not like I bite."
"You seem to have forgotten you had bit me. I still haven't settled scores with you. You made me sore that day and I still feel pain. You are more of an animal. "
"So, what do you want to do to me?"
"Simple don't come close to me."
"You're saying that I hurt you, yet I still have your nail marks on my back. Do you want me to show you?"
Hunter said that and removed the vest he had and showed her his back. Claire's face turned red. She didn't think that she too had hurt him. She looked at his abs and started drooling over them. She wished she could just touch them. She snapped back to reality after she asked himself what he was thinking about.
"Put on your vest. I admit that we did hurt each other. Don't come to my side of the bed. "
"I am the one who should be telling you that. "
"Do you like bickering with me?"
"Do you like bickering with me?" Hunter said copying her.
"Maybe we should have taken your best friend. He is the only one who seems to be of sound mind."
"Yes. You could have just taken him. I also don't know why I agreed to take you. "
"Are you regretting that I had picked you?"
"Don't disturb me the great Miss Phillips. Your high IQ will reduce if you decide to bicker with me."
"I can feel it reducing right now. Sleep."
"Are you going to ask me nicely or what?"
Claire yawned and lied on the bed.
"Babe. " Hunter said and tugged her. "Babe. "
Hunter looked at her sleeping. She had a better figure compared to Asher. He smiled at the thought of that and then drifted off to sleep.
