KAYLA'S POV:
I opened my eyes and found myself in an abandoned place, tied to a chair.
Memories rushed back.
I had been outside the mall buying ice cream when someone suddenly pressed a chloroform soaked cloth to my nose. After that… nothing.
Footsteps echoed.
I looked up and saw a six-foot tall man emerging from the darkness. He stopped in front of me, laughing darkly.
"Finally… I got you…"
"Who are you?"
"Travis. Remember me?"
"Oh yeah… Travis… Travis… Travis who?"
Frustrated, he slammed his hand on the desk beside him.
"Travis, your biggest enemy!"
"Oh wow! Really? I cannot believe it!"
I said sarcastically.
Savage, right?
He took a deep breath, calming himself before speaking again.
"I waited for this whole day… and now that I finally have you, I won't let you go, until I get my revenge."
"What revenge?"
"Remember middle school? You bullied me relentlessly. Every day of my life turned into hell because of you."
Not surprising.
"I begged you to have mercy on me, but you never did…"
"Okay… whatever happened was in the past, and now we're in the future. So maybe we should forget it, forgive each other, and move on…"
Even though I don't really believe in moving on.
"Forgive? Forget? Move on?" He laughed bitterly. "That doesn't sound like you, Kayla."
Okay… he really knows me.
"I won't give up until I get my full revenge," he said coldly.
"I learned it from you."
