Diana was born with a lot of the things people could only dream of having.
The revered status as the empire’s princess, plenty of wealth, and even a beautiful face.
Anyone who saw her would say that there was no way she wasn’t happy with her life.
Alas, Diana was miserable.
Everything that she had felt was a castle built with sand.
She was slowly suffocating inside of her extravagant sandcastle.
But there wasn’t a single person in this world that could help Diana out.
Living in the imperial palace was like surviving in the wilderness; only the strongest could survive.
She too had once hoped for someone to save her from this mess, but she now knew that doing so was meaningless.
She gave up the last bits of hope and succumbed to her fate.
There was one thing that she still couldn’t stand, however.
The one thing that just kept coming at her throat……
Diana’s steps on the way to the Empress’s palace were as heavy as her dread.
