Keifer's Pov:
Keifer: "Okay then Lets buy her company"
I decided because it was a sensible decision, she needs money and I need her company. So I decided to make a visit to her,
After I met her to be honest I am impressed, I will not lie, but I know for sure that she is going to come back to me, Because she need funds and no one is going to provide that after seeing her statements.
Jay's Pov:
I don't know what that idiot thinks of himself, he just comes in and says wants to buy my company, like its a chocolate, I got pissed off by him and now I am going get more pissed off because I am looking for themes for David's wedding, I honestly don't know which pisses me off more.
After finishing I go to my apartment and rest after having dinner because it was a long day.
The next day I go to my office, I have to attend the meeting, I only have few employees in my office, around 20 - 25 because I like to do most of the work and also because of budget constraints
Employee: "Ma'am we really need to do something our sales are going at a normal rate but our loss is increasing due to our pricing"
Jay: "Can you try increasing the budget with the clients"
E: "Ma'am existing clients will not agree, we also have the loan to pay off "
Jay: "Our new clients?"
E: "We can do that but we still need fund, otherwise..." she stopped but I know what exactly she meant
Jay: "Okay, I will come up with something" Everyone got dismissed after the meeting, while I was trying to come up with a solution, When my assistant came in and said,
A: "Ma'am the banks are calling for the payback, it has to be done within this week or they are taking the office building"
Jay: "Just let them know it will be paid"
It's been 2 days I have been trying everything I could but no one came through for the funds, I was frustrated as hell, then only I noticed something on my desk, It was the visiting card of that idiot Watson, I exhaled seeing it.
This wasn't supposed to be an option, but I cannot let down people relying on me and the company, I had do this, but I do not want to see his smug smile, when I go him.
I called my assistant to set up a meeting with him, she was a little shocked but she did and she returned after few minutes,
A: "Ma'am, Mr Watson would like meet you here tomorrow"
Jay: "Fine"
The next day, the deal day, but I am not going to sell my company I am going to offer him something else,
The meeting was supposed to be at 11, he came at sharp 11 into my office likes he owns,
Keifer: "So shall we sign the deal"
Jay: "No greeting Mr Watson, where is your manners?"
Keifer: "I am sorry Ms Mariano I just thought I could cut the meeting short anyways, Hello Ms Jasper Jean"
Jay: "Hello Mr Keifer, And no, please take a seat because I have a counter offer for you"
He looked skeptical when I said that,
Jay: "Please take your seat" he finally sat down
Keifer: "What is it Ms Mariano?"
Jay: "I am not selling my company but I am open to merger or you as one of the major stockholder in our company, provided we work on a project together first, so that we can see our comparability and proceed further with the contract"
I finished and he was silent, with an unreadable expression,
Keifer: "You are more smart than I expected " he said with the smug,
The AUDACITY...I thought
Jay: "Well you always underestimate people I guess" I said like judging him which I think he understood,
Keifer: "Not always but with you maybe"
Jay: "Okay moving on are you going reply for my offer or keep staring at me"
he chuckled which I'll admit irritated me,
Keifer: "You have deal"
Jay: "And one more thing I will be working with you not your assistant"
Keifer: "Why is that may I know?"
Jay: "Because I would like take care of the events with which people trusted me with and considering our companies might join in the future I should know how you work"
He rolled his eyes, I wanted to punch him honestly but I just gave a forcing smile,
Jay: "You can leave if you are not interested"
He smirked before answering,
Keifer: "This and you seem like a lot of work but I think it will be worth it"
he said and I raised my eyebrows,
Keifer: "Deal"
I smirked at him now,
Jay: "Here is the new drafted contract, you can check it before signing"
he did and signed,
Jay: "Welcome onboard"
Keifer: "So what is the first event we will be working together "
I sighed while thinking the next event, it is David's marriage
Jay: "Well it is a wedding event" I said opening my laptop and choosing their folder,
Jay: "It is David Braselton and Freya Hidalgo Wedding" I said to him while turning the laptop and showing his picture,
He expression changed quickly,
Keifer: "What" he almost shouted
