"Bill is doing exactly what we need him to do." The dark-skinned Nathan says. This skin looks surprisingly healthy and soft. He is a couple of inches short of the other man's height. His brown eyes and hair are supposed to give him a soft look, but his face betrays that. He looks a ton like Cindy. Maybe he is just her lookalike, Flower hopes.
"It honestly surprises me that Bill and Thomas don't like each other." Nathan says.
"They are both fools and think we work for them. Since when did they get this bravery?" Nathan sighs.
"We have it to them, remember Aaron." Ok, so Nathan isn't just an assistant. He clearly knows more than any helper should. Flower racks her mind for what might be happening. Nathan could be undercover to spy on the workers, but what could that do for them.
"Either way, we still have to invest in B.A.F. That business is one of our most successful companies. The stock prices are rising but if we start to sell them off, so will everyone else."
"But we still want the company up and running. How do we stop it from collapsing? All we want to do is change its owner temporarily."
As Flower is listening to them she starts to understand what they mean and it surprisingly interests her. Just for fun, Flower wants to see if she can come up with a solution. The first one she thinks about is for them to order the people to not sell their stocks but that wouldn't work and they'd still do it. What can they do that will save the B.A.F. The girl thinks for a minute and gets an idea so good she almost jumps from under the desk and tells the men what they could do. The plan is to give their stocks to their enemies. Anyone who doesn't like them. But the people can't know that Aaron meant for it to happen. Aaron and Nathan are going to head up to one of their competitors, annoying and teasing them when suddenly in between their conversation they let out an important detail they know the person in front of them will catch onto. Thinking they are going to win over Aaron, they will force him to give them his company and it will appear that way to the world. But in reality Aaron will want for them to have it. After that nobody will sell any stocks and in fact they might buy more just for Aaron. It would seem crazy for people to just spend all their money to buy stocks for someone they don't know, but Flower has seen the way the people of The Sheero basically treat the FF like gods. Assuming that Aaron or Nathan are a part of the Five Families, which they most likely are. They all seem to have a certain elegance and danger around them that differentiates the FF from those around them. Then after they do whatever work they need, they will get their stocks back. And that is where Flower's plan ends because she has absolutely zero idea how they could get it back. But some people as powerful as them have tons of ways to do that.
"Another problem is the fact that The Madaya will sell out any resources we use for this company if they find out. This made the use and import of our items more restricted and thus more expensive."
"Yeah, including that Nick has taken the opportunity to get himself more money and has been raising the importing and exporting prizes on us since the beginning of this year and he is still currently raising them. The overall price of our imports has risen over 16% since last year." The men seem frustrated, and Flower wonders if it is better to leave right now and not wait for them to get angrier before getting caught. There is no way she could sneak out of here like this.
"No wonder no new companies are starting to rise. They have to pay a lot more money than they usually should have, just to get their company started and nothing else. This is not good. Not good at all." Aaron says angrily. Nathan looks at him and smiles.
"You have such little patience, you know." Nathan says and laughs.
"I've been looking into this Nick business and after a lot of digging I've found out that Nick and Peter, the owner of the company "Vultures" are longtime friends that have known each other since high school. For all we know Nick could be helping Peter." Aaron looks up, thinking about this new information then smiles.
"I don't appreciate Peter lying to us like this. This cancels out the agreement we had with them. How about we go give him a friendly visit?" His voice makes goosebumps rise all over Flower's skin and she knows he doesn't mean good. What is the worst thing they could do? Horrifying pictures pop up in Flower's mind and her heart races. It is gruesome. Too cruel. The bodies are unrecognizable. Flower tries to push the images away but it's like she is in a paralyzed state. It seems like she is in her mind and not under a desk. Suddenly, a hand grabs her and pulls her harshly.
