Kai's body trembled like jelly while his heart pounded like a war drum as he saw a sneer that was scary. The guy had his eyes glued on Kai, while the others were balancing at the wall on their backs with their heads bowing down and hands folded.
Kai looked behind, as if he didn't see them, while his mind raced, thinking of running to the door since it was nearby, but those guys had their eyes on him.

'Run away? Maybe that's the best ever.' Kai silently said as he slowly moved his foot. Suddenly, the system displayed the time.

'Ohh dear, the time is gone; if I run, I won't make it, but that's my only option. What should I do…?' A voice echoed in Kai's head as the brown-haired guy stepped forward and said, "Where are you going, young man?"
Kai's heart pounded, and his body trembled as his eyes widened in fear. He wasn't into violence, and he wasn't experienced in fighting, so he was in a tight spot.
His body screamed for help as he turned back to look at the guy who stopped him.
"Hi!" Kai said, his right hand waving at the money-thirsty humans.
They gasped as astonishment whirled over them after hearing a "hi" instead of a plea.
The brown-haired guy slowly moved towards Kai, who had his body trembling as he heard footsteps thudding, coming towards him. Terror erupted, causing his heart to tremble instead of beating. His eyes were tightly sealed, as he didn't want to look at the guy.
"Sup, brother, would you mind lending me your coins?!" The brown-haired guy held Kai's left shoulder, with his eyes scarily narrowed while indicating anger with his voice, sending shivers down Kai's spine.
'Hey system, how many coins do I have?' Kai silently asked the system and got no response; his closed eyes opened and started darting while hidden, since his head was bowed.
He then looked closely at his screen and checked around. He did everything he was told and found a place for a wallet. His eyes widened in happiness as he saw the wallet page. He then quickly opened the page, and his eyes suddenly shut.
Meanwhile,
The brown-haired guy asked for money again and received a cold shoulder. His eyes blazed with anger as he lost his patience.
Kai found a big O in his wallet, and shivers ran down his spine as he got cold feet.
Suddenly, he remembered what Seraphina told him during the day when they got attacked.
Flashback
'[Do you want me to kick his butt, Master?]'
'How are you going to do that?' Kai asked.
'[It's easy; it will be our first fight; just give him a punch.]'
Present
'That's a good one, yet, Kai, you don't need to think about it; just do it.'
Kai unleashed a hard punch that landed on the brown-haired one's cheeks.
The followers opened their eyes wider as they surprisedly observed their mentor getting punched by Kai. Their mouths created round Os as astonishment filled them up.
Kai was also surprised by the guy's reactions. He expected him to fly like the previous guy, but this time, the guy only received the punch but never moved a lower body muscle.
"Hey, why didn't you fly?" Kai asked, his eyes wide open.
"Huh, do I have wings?" The guy got surprised too.
'Wait, maybe I didn't put a lot of energy into it; there's no harm in retrying.' Kai silently said and executed the plan.
He unleashed another punch, and the "ahh" sound came from the followers as they got thunderstruck by the punches that were launched at their mentor's cheeks.
"Huh, maybe I'm weak; I'll try again next time!" Kai said as he passed next to the guy who was standing, holding his hot-hit cheek.
'Seraphina said....' Wait, it was all Seraphina's powers? So no way of getting him to fl...' Kai widely opened his eyes in fear; his heart pounded like a war drum.
Before he even took 5 steps, the beaten guy stopped Kai with his scary growling voice.
"Stop right there!" Kai suddenly stopped, his body trembling in fear, struggling to stand on his feet.
The guy followed Kai back, and again, he held Kai's shoulder. Suddenly, Kai turned and hit the guy in the neck with his elbow and sent him to the wall.
Astonishment lurked over the walls as Kai, himself, the attacker, got surprised by the way he hit the guy. He didn't think; he just did it.
Meanwhile,
The followers were dumbfounded; their hearts raced, and fear surrounded their bodies, with their eyes peeled, glaring at their drooling mentor.
They suddenly got carried by their feet as they found a way to disappear in front of Kai. He was left thunderstruck by the way they forced their way out of his face as they pushed each other while the road was wider.
His lips curled as laughter reached him before he even wanted to explode. Boom,he exploded with laughter as he crashed down on his knees.
Suddenly, the time stopped moving; it displayed it, and it started blinking.

'Huh? The time stopped. Does that mean… that means… yes, I've finally completed the task!!' Mischief flowed through Kai's body as he found himself victorious in the match.
The screen turned black and started typing on its own.
