The princess' eyes narrowed as she waited for Kai's reply. Her mind stayed calm and clear, her heart softly pounding, without any trace of fear since she was having a happy walk with Kai.
I can't even explain what a gun really is, but I'll try," Kai said, scratching the back of his head.
"It comes in different sizes, small or big. It fires a bullet, a fast and deadly piece of metal that shoots out of it. It's super dangerous; its speed and sharpness can take someone down in an instant."
Confusion filled the princess's head with her eyebrow quirked.
"I wish I could imagine it!" the princess exclaimed, her voice barely above a whisper.
"You'll understand if you get, maybe, an image!"
'[Where are you going to get that image?]' A little voice suddenly echoed in Kai's head as Seraphina exited the mute mode.
'Why are you asking me? I don't know, of course, and I didn't give a promise or suggestion!' Kai silently said, his facial expression normal, but his inner part was annoyed.
'[You did give a suggestion!]'
'Yeah sure, but I didn't say I was going to give her that!'
'[Obviously you'll start a fight…]'
'Just shut up!' Kai shouted inside, switching Seraphina back to mute mode.
The princess turned her eyes forward as happiness whirled in her heart, creating a smooth, light beating. A smile curled her lips, her look blooming like a rose flower, while her shiny face glowed as the bright sun hit her golden skin.
As for Kai, he followed the princess, playing bodyguard. He made sure that the princess's road was as smooth as a crystal. He provided all the protection while he didn't even have experience in combat protection.
He only walked behind the princess while his mind was lost in his thoughts as his mind replayed the dream from last night.
'What was the meaning of that dream, though? It was really something.'
'[What dream, dumbass?]'
'I didn't talk to you, bastard!'
'[You didn't clarify, so don't blame me!]'
'I didn't; you just caught a ball that wasn't coming to you!'
'Ohh, really?'
'Just keep quiet!'
Terror and hatred covered Kai, his hatred for Seraphina flowing in his veins while terror of the upcoming dream gripped his heart.
After being lost, the princess's voice boomed in his ears, getting him to escape from the trap of his thoughts.
"So, do you want to train swordsmanship and earn your sword?"
"Of course, how can I protect you without any fighting experience?" Kai made a seriously handsome face, showing his part of being a fake gentleman.
"That's a good point, because I really need that big royal security. I hope you can provide that!" Her left eye widened while the other one narrowed as her eyes landed on Kai.
"Yes, I should be able to do that, as long as I gain this world's weapon experience, and I'll be able to protect you 24/7, maybe more than that too!"
"Wow, I'm flattered!" A warm chuckle formed on Sonia's face, getting her pink lips curled up.
"Huh?! Sorry for my dumb speech!" Kai closed his eyes in astonishment and terror, as he didn't want to do anything silly in front of the princess.
"Nah, it's my fault for getting flattered like a whore!"
Kai gasped after his ears pulled the Princess's words.
"Oh, sorry!" The princess suddenly apologized as she heard a faint gasp escaping Kai's mouth.
"No, don't be."
"So would you love to start your training?" Sonia asked, and a new topic began as smiles coiled in their faces.
"Of course, but I have one question."
"Fire it up!"
"Where are we going to be training, and who will be my trainer?" Kai shot a question, getting the princess to absorb it.
"Me!" she said, her voice growing as a sudden change happened.
"What?" Kai's mind raced, trying to pinpoint her point.
"Haha, just joking, there's this guy called…!"
