Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: You Are All Too Young

Kavi's ridicule ignited Kuzan's anger. Here was a top admiral of the navy, yet he was being mocked by a short, older man — an uncle figure.

Kuzan's tall stature only made Kavi look smaller beside him, and that stung his pride even more.

Beneath Kuzan's seemingly lazy exterior burned a passionate heart, fueled by a strong sense of justice.

The recent Demon-Slaying Order had shaken his beliefs deeply, and now, this insult from Kavi cut him like a knife.

Planting both hands firmly on the ground, Kuzan unleashed the full power of his Devil Fruit.

"Frozen Time Capsule!"

A cold, vicious breath exploded outward, aiming directly at Kavi, who stood unfazed, mocking him openly.

Olivia and Saul were right behind Kavi — if he dodged, the freezing blast would engulf them instantly.

Kavi clenched his fist, gathering terrifying force.

His punch seemed slow, lacking power — but then—

A violent gust burst forth, ripping through the cold air like a hurricane.

"Boom!"

The freezing blast shattered, the earth below exploded, and every flower, plant, and tree nearby, was swept away in a devastating natural disaster.

Kuzan had no time to transform before the blast threw him dozens of meters back.

He crashed hard into the ground, buried beneath rubble.

'How pitiful.'

"Uncle Kavi?!"

Olivia's eyes widened, disbelief strangling her voice.

'Is this really Uncle Kavi? The weak old man who'd always told her to be careful?

We agreed to be weaklings together. But was he faking it all along?'

Years ago, Kavi urged Olivia to exercise and learn self-defense. She refused — she was an archaeologist, not a fighter.

Now, she wasn't so sure.

Saul's eyes were equally wide. He knew Kuzan's strength well — yet here he was, beaten so easily by Kavi.

A cough came from the rubble.

Slowly, Kuzan pushed away dirt and branches, rising unsteadily.

His body was battered, scarred, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.

He wiped it off, leveling a serious, almost hollow stare at Kavi. The cool, composed admiral façade was gone.

"Who are you?" Kuzan asked quietly, disbelief mixed with suspicion.

'Weren't they told this island was just a bunch of weak scholars? Where did a man like this come from?'

Kavi smiled calmly. "If you want to know, go ask Garp."

Garp should remember him well — their history traced back to Roger's pirate era.

Kuzan's expression hardened. Vice Admiral Garp? That name alone commanded respect. But now wasn't the time for distractions. He had a mission.

"What do you want?"

Kavi answered simply, "I'll take these two away — Olivia and Saul. After that, the island's yours to bomb as you please."

Once they were gone, O'Hara would be an empty shell — a hollow explanation to the World Government.

Kuzan thought for a moment. "I don't care. I can't beat you. And I can't control the others anyway."

His loyalty lay with justice above all else — that was why he'd let Robin go.

Kavi nodded in understanding. He'd handle the rest — though a bounty might be necessary after this.

Meanwhile, on the navy ship, Sakaski's face was hard as iron.

"All warships, fire!" he barked.

His deputy hesitated, voice trembling. "Lieutenant General Sakaski, civilians haven't evacuated yet — and Vice Admiral Aokiji is still on the island."

Sakaski's glare could freeze fire itself. "I order you to fire! So, what if there are civilians? The Buster Call Order spares no one! And Aokiji? A Devil Fruit user — he won't die from mere artillery."

"Yes, sir! All warships, fire!"

Cannons roared as shells rained down, ready to bury the island beneath destruction.

Back on the ground, Kuzan's face darkened with fury. "What is Sakaski doing?! There are still civilians here!"

Kavi chuckled softly, unsurprised by Sakaski's ruthlessness. To someone obsessed with extreme justice, this was just business as usual.

Looking at Kuzan, Kavi mused: 'it wasn't just Devil Fruits that made them incompatible — their personalities clashed as violently as their powers.'

Olivia's calm voice broke through the chaos. "Uncle Kavi, can we still escape?"

Kavi smirked. "Why? Ready to accept your fate?"

She smiled gently, "Heh, if I die with you, Uncle Kavi, then it's a death without regrets."

"Who wants to die with a stupid girl like you?"

Kavi bent his legs, muscles coiling like springs.

"Bang!"

A violent blast cracked open the earth beneath him, and Kavi soared into the air.

Spotting the incoming artillery shells, Kavi launched a whip-like kick.

"Ran Jiao-Luan!"

His attack shattered the shells mid-air like firecrackers.

"Huh?! Who's that?!"

A navy soldier pointed at the airborne figure, shouting in alarm.

Sakaski's eyes narrowed. 'A man blocking the Buster Call's bombardment? He would show no mercy.'

With lightning-fast moon steps, Sakaski charged.

"Big Spitfire!"

Magma cloaked his hands as he unleashed a brutal attack.

Kavi dodged effortlessly, flowing through the strikes like water.

He retaliated with a flurry of punches — all dodged with ease.

Kavi's observation Haki outmatched Sakaski's, tracking every move before it came.

The attacks looked juvenile, like a child's first fight.

"Young man, why so impatient?" Kavi teased.

He didn't take Sakaski seriously — not him, nor Kuzan.

They were too young, too inexperienced.

If they wanted to defeat him, they had twenty years of growth ahead.
