Derek morphed back into his human form, jumping to his feet with a bright, almost goofy smile. He took the initiative to step closer and gently tucked away a stubborn strand of hair from Travis's face. His rough fingers traced the freckles on Travis's cheeks, massaging softly, and the unexpected tenderness made Travis flush.
"You and Kai are both unique," Travis told him firmly. "You don't have to compete with him. I have things I like about you too — and it doesn't have to be about cuteness."
Now that the moment was over, he wanted to try on the new clothes. The ones currently clinging to his body were so worn out that with one wrong move they would fall apart and expose everything underneath. He wasn't about to risk that.
"So, Derek, give me some space. I want to dress up." Travis demanded plainly.
Derek blinked… then stepped closer. Forcing Travis to take a step back.
What was wrong with him? Did he not hear space??
