Chapter 11 - Clearing The Dungeons...

The System lit up with a line of words that materialized in front of him.

[Dungeon Cleared. Please Check The Loot And Retrieve The Dungeon Clear Rewards.]

Arthur immediately checked the Loot Section.

Aside from a few pieces of Gold, some Potions, and a few Materials like Metals and Scraps, there was nothing of note in the Loot.

Shrugging, he shifted his attention to Titan.

"Big guy, let's continue clearing the Dungeons. We must obtain a Celestial Stone today!"

The Dragon Knight glanced at Arthur, and he could sense some puzzlement coming from the Golden Knight.

He chuckled, scratching his bald head. "Don't worry about it much. Just keep slaughtering through the Dungeon. When we obtain it, you'll feel my excitement."

The Dragon Knight glanced at the empty Dungeon, then shook its head.

Arthur didn't know whether to laugh or cry at this behavior.

Smiling faintly, he led the Dragon Knight out of the Dungeon.

The moment they appeared safe and sound, the surrounding Guards let out a collective sigh of relief.

Arthur glanced at them briefly and chuckled. "Were you expecting your King to die or something?"

No longer minding them, he shook his head and walked away with the Dragon Knight.

They didn't walk for long before he and the Knight finally reached another shimmering Portal.

Normally, after clearing a Dungeon, it reset after twelve hours, all the creatures returning back to life, and the Loot and Rewards reforming once more, including the Dungeon Core.

This was how the Dungeons were able to sustain the Players for a long time.

After a moment of deliberation, Amon retrieved two Mana Potions from his Storage Space.

It was all he had.

He handed one to the Dragon Knight.

"For recovering roughly ten percent of Mana. Drink."

The Dragon Knight reached out with its left hand, then paused, transferred its Sword into its left, and reached out with its right instead.

Arthur watched to see how the Dragon Knight would remove its Helmet and reveal the face beneath it before gulping down the Potion.

'Hehe, I wonder how he looks. Is it a handsome Knight or some sort of Draconic Monster?'

Guesses bloomed in Arthur's mind.

He waited patiently as the Dragon Knight brought the Mana Potion closer to its face, then...

It smashed it onto its Helmet.

Arthur felt as though it was his heart that had been smashed apart.

The Potion's liquid dripped slightly onto the Helmet, trickling down the shiny Golden surface before trailing into a few thin gaps in the Armored Suit.

'Damn!' Arthur cursed internally, glaring at the Golden Knight.

That was a Potion worth more than a thousand Coins wasted!

Suddenly,

[Your Calamity Has Absorbed Mana Recovery Potion. Recovering 10% Of Mana.]

'Err?' Arthur looked stunned. 'That's possible?'

For a moment, he wanted to smash his own Potion onto his body to absorb it.

But being a civilized young man, he calmly took off its lid, brought it to his lips, and gulped lightly.

[Absorbed Mana Recovery Potion. Recovered 10% Of Mana.]

Arthur glanced at his and the Dragon Knight's Stats. His had increased slightly, reaching 110, and he now had 60 Mana Points remaining out of it.

Meanwhile, the Dragon Knight, due to its Level Up, had a drastic jump in Mana from 100 to 150, with 70 Mana Points remaining.

"Titan, you don't have much Mana left, and we need to clear a lot of Dungeons, so try to minimize its use during fights," Arthur casually advised.

The Dragon Knight gripped its Sword in its left hand and nodded stiffly.

With that, both men entered the shimmering blue Portal.

Once again, it was a Dungeon filled with Goblins.

Seeing the evil creatures, Arthur grinned wildly as he swung his Sword around, and they began their killing spree.

After finishing with that Dungeon, Arthur entered the next.

Knowing how troublesome the Academy Entrance Examination would be, he had to be as strong as possible before then.

He cleared the third Dungeon, then the fourth and the fifth, all the way until he was at the tenth.

As Arthur swung his Sword, he could feel his limbs move stiffly, as though they had been frozen in ice for a long time.

'Damn, I'm really exhausted.'

How wouldn't he be? In a single day, he had cleared all the E-Rank Dungeons in the Pendragon Family.

The snake-like creature hissed as Arthur's Sword cleaved through its forked tongue.

He thrust forward, his blade piercing into the eye of the snake as a mass of gore and blood burst out.

Arthur fell to the ground and panted a few times before finally regaining himself.

Beside him, the Dragon Knight still seemed like the perfect killing machine.

Surrounding it was a three-meter-tall, slender Cobra radiating the intense pressure of someone at roughly Level 20.

Despite the fact that the Dragon Knight was only at Level 15 after clearing all the Dungeons today, it stood tall, radiating immense might that caused the Snake to hesitate.

Around the Dragon Knight were several other Snakes that had been crushed, their heads and bodies mangled into a mess of flesh.

And on its Golden Dragon Armor were splatters of green blood.

A stench wafted through the air from the Golden Knight, and Arthur couldn't help but stare as the battle between the two unfolded.

They had already dealt with all the creatures in the Dungeon, and the Snake was the last one they needed to kill.

The Dragon Knight locked eyes with the Snake for what seemed like a long time, then finally, a thunderous roar that sounded like the skies rumbling resounded from it.

Titan knew that his Master was watching, and he didn't want to disappoint him.

Bang!

Three arcs of Lightning danced to life around him, stunning the Snake and freezing it in place.

Then the Dragon Knight moved, swinging his Sword in a downward slash.

Before the Dungeon Boss could recover from the stun, the Sword, now clad in orange flames, cleaved through its stomach.

Green blood sprayed outward, drenching the Dragon Knight.

But his movements didn't pause in the slightest.

He followed with another downward slash, this time onto the creature's head.

Bang!

An outburst exploded, and a rain of Snake blood splattered across the surroundings.

Thankfully, Arthur was already used to the Dragon Knight's brutal fighting style, so he had distanced himself from the battle at the right moment.

[Killed Dungeon Boss. Loot Dropped.]

Just as Arthur was about to call it a day, the System's seductive voice, filled with excitement, announced,

[Congratulations On Obtaining A Celestial Stone.]

[Do You Wish To Summon A Second Calamity?]
