[Congratulations On Obtaining A Celestial Stone.]
[Do You Wish To Summon A Second Calamity?]
Arthur stared at the glowing information from the system and, without a second thought, nodded.
He didn't expect to get so lucky and actually obtain another Celestial Stone so soon.
Suppressing his trembling hands, Arthur watched as the scene played out.
[Summoning a Calamity…]
Arthur's vision shifted drastically as he seemed to appear in a black, empty void.
Around him was… nothing.
The void radiated a dense aura of calamity and destruction.
[Congratulations, the Nine Tail Fox Demon has accepted your summon.]
[Congratulations on obtaining the Nine Tail Fox Demon as your Second Calamity!]
The moment the system's message finished flashing, Arthur's vision changed.
In his line of sight, he realized he had appeared in a unique space filled with all sorts of abominations.
Here, there were people with rings on their hands, and from his fair share of knowledge from web novels, Arthur could tell this was a Spatial Ring.
Then he spotted something.
A clean, white cat-like creature with nine fluffy tails swinging behind it, calmly walking on the ground.
Arthur's eye twitched slightly as he realized that with every step the fox took, a particularly unique treasure appeared on her tail.
The others soon realized what was happening, and their attention shifted to the Fox Demon, and a terrifying battle ensued.
Of course, the normal humans couldn't deal with the cat.
This was because anytime the fox was killed, one of its tails would disappear and gradually begin regrowing to the extent that before they had killed the fox five times, its tails had grown five times more.
It was an unending cycle, and soon it garnered the attention of Gods.
Gods that had transcended life and death.
Without hesitation, the moment these Gods were alerted, the fox fought a battle that lasted more than a hundred years with them before, finally, after everything, the fox was killed.
On the battlefield were all sorts of treasures that the fox had stolen during the fight.
Arthur felt his vision returning to him, and his attention shifted to the little creature in front of him.
Just like before, it was a small snow-white creature with a warm expression.
It radiated a sense of purity and warmth, and at a glance, no one would be willing to harm such an innocent creature.
However, Arthur's lips couldn't help twitching repeatedly as he stared at the Nine Tail Fox Demon.
Because on its tails were all the four Mana Potions he and Titan had obtained so far.
These were potions Arthur was certain he had placed in his System Space!
"Hey, little creature…" Arthur cooed lightly, causing the creature's black eyes that were as dark as the endless abyss to land on him.
"Here, you want this?" Arthur retrieved a snack he had on him.
And the moment he revealed it, the fox's eyes lit up.
Before Arthur could react, the snack disappeared from his hand.
His eyes twitched once more, but there was no need to delay.
The moment the fox grabbed hold of the snack, it let go of the four Mana Potions.
Arthur jumped forward, managing to grab onto them before any of them could fall to the ground.
A frown appeared on his face as he commanded, 'System, store these in the System's Space.'
At his command, the treasure disappeared from his grasp, entering into his System Space.
He watched as the cat munched on the snack, nibbling on it as though it had been starving for a long time, before finally raising its cute eyes, which now had slight tears, to Arthur.
"You want more?"
The fox nodded.
"Hehe, come and stay here, then we can talk about you having more…" Arthur demanded, patting his shoulder lightly.
The fox glared at Arthur, and the next instant, Arthur's eyes bulged out.
This was because in the grasp of the fox were the same four Mana Recovery Potions he had specifically just kept in his System Space.
'Damn!' Arthur immediately cursed, then barked, 'System, what the fuck is going on?'
{Host, please read the description of the Nine Tailed Fox Demon…}
'Open the information,' he demanded.
Glowing lines of words immediately materialized in front of him.
[Calamity Summoned: Nine Tailed Fox Demon]
[Name: -]
[True Name: Thieving Heavenly Demon Venerable, The Undying, ???, ???]
[Level: 10]
[Strength: 15]
[Defense: 20]
[Health: 100]
[Mana: 100]
[Potential: Limitless]
[Remark: A terrifying creature that was mutated due to the mistakes of Gods in creation. The mistake mutated the Fox Demon into a Calamity, granting her near unlimited lives and the ability to bend the laws of space-time to retrieve whatever she wants. She is extremely loyal to her master. Just give her some food and she will come around…]
"Damn!" Arthur's eyes glowed in shock.
Is she more overpowered, or is the Dragonknight more terrifying?
His emotions were hard to suppress, and any previous anger he felt towards the little creature vanished instantly.
"Hey, little girl… come with me, I have lots of food at home. You're hungry, right?" Arthur began making promises with a wicked smile on his face.
For a moment, he looked like an evil uncle promising a little girl candy if she followed him home.
Arthur could imagine the Fox Demon retrieving others' Mana Potions, the confusion on their faces.
Damn, this Fox Demon was his one-way ticket to getting rich! He couldn't be careless with her!
Thinking this, his smile deepened.
The Fox Demon felt a chill and subconsciously took a step back.
But after some deliberation, she tossed the Mana Recovery Potions onto the ground and jumped onto Arthur's shoulders.
Her nine fluffy white tails wrapped around Arthur like a warm scarf, granting him some comfort.
Arthur looked like a charming prince; however, rather than having flowing hair like others, his bald head seemed to be a flaw in his perfect pose.
He shook his head and rubbed his bald head with a smirk.
'Bald or not, as long as I dominate the world!'
With that thought, he turned to Titan, who was still staring curiously at the Fox Demon.
It could sense a faint hint of camaraderie from the little creature, whether due to the fact that they had met the same fate or because they belonged to the same master.
Nonetheless, he already treated her like a little sister.
Arthur glanced at the Dragon Knight.
"Well then, let's head back to the family. After that, we'll begin our journey to the Academy…"
Titan nodded, agreeing with the plan.
A fluffy tail blocked Arthur's vision, and with a sigh, he pulled it out of his face.
"Yeah, little fox, we're also going to get lots of food before doing anything…"
At the same time, Arthur wondered silently, 'Speaking of which… I should give the little creature a name.'
…
A/N: If you enjoyed the chapter, please leave a Power Stone or two. Thank you.
I wonder if someone can leave a review of the novel. Let me know what you think — is my writing being appreciated, or am I just handing out words blankly into the void?
Leave comments on what name I should give the Fox Demon. The highest liked will be selected.
