"We're going to Paris."
Marcus made the announcement over breakfast in their suite. They'd extended their Zurich stay by two days.
"When?" she asked.
"This afternoon. I have a meeting with a collector there tomorrow, and I want you with me." He set down his coffee. "Plus, I want to show you the city properly."
"I'd love to see Paris with you."
"Good. Pack light. We're only staying three days."
The flight to Paris was short. When they landed at Le Bourget, a car was waiting.
Their hotel suite overlooked a quiet courtyard garden.
"This is beautiful," Aria said, walking to the windows.
"I thought you'd like it. Marcus came up behind her, his arms wrapping around her waist. "More intimate."
"When is your meeting?"
"Tomorrow afternoon. Which means we have tonight and tomorrow morning completely free." His mouth found her neck. "I have plans for that time."
"What kind of plans?"
"The kind that involve you, me, a bed, and absolutely no clothing."
