Chapter 2 - No Solidarity in the sea of suffering

Looking at his 'sister' Su Han felt she wasn't right in the head.

She clearly was wasting his time. She had called him over and for what? Just to humiliate him.

'No! This place is too dangerous for long term stay!I have to think of something and make an escape before it is too late. But with my current abilities, this is no different from a pipe dream. What family? These are clearly crazy! My little life is more important.' Su Han made up his mind to escape at the first opportunity.

He made the judgement that since his sister was this crazy, the adults should be even extreme.

"Get lost! Make sure we don't cross paths or else my sword won't recognise relatives!" Her cold voice suddenly had a tinge of killing intent!

The moment it appeared, he felt his entire body go cold. It was as though death was calling upon him.

He felt as though this place had transformed into sea of corpses and he wasn't far from joining them.

'Yes! This is a demon in human clothing!' he was now even more sure he wasn't suited for the Hun clan.

In such a clan, it was possible to die at any time. It this devil with multiple personalities was his sister, then what about people he didn't even know.

This was considered a profound lesson he had to keep at heart.

When the killing intent vanished, he collapsed on the ground even barely speaking.

"Trash!" She admonished him without even hidding her disdain. Clearly she seemed disappointed at his inability to withstand the killing intent.

"Someone!" She then called loudly.

"Young miss! Do you have any orders!" Asked the guard.

"Throw this trash out. Hi! Make sure he reaches the Cold mines. He can't die halfway, after all the Hun clan has spend a considerable amount on his food and clothing over the past years. Since he couldn't awaken, it is only right to pay back!" Xiao Li said in a cold voice.

Listening to her words, he felt the cruelty of this world.

This woman claiming to be his sister was even sending him off as a slave in mines and is not concerned about his life and death, rather his production value as a slave.

The coldness of this words alone was enough to extinguish any delusions he had about this world. It was a good thing he didn't have any lingering attachments.

Or it has to be said that from the moment he found himself in this new environment, he had no connection with the Hun clan at all.

He even named this place a demon den in his mind at first sight. The more time he spend in this place the stronger the repulsion felt towards the Hun clan.

He watched helplessly as he was carried out like a bag of potatoes and after a while thrown to the ground mercilessly.

'ahem! Be careful with this old man's body!' he did think this way, but lacked the courage to actually say it out loud.

Looking around, his fate seemed like entertainment to all those that had gathered.

"What is the deal with this trash?"

"Maybe he doesn't want to go mining and trying to hide!"

"Hehe! That makes sense."

"Look at his fearful expression."

Su Han looked around and was already able to tell that his situation had become worse.

Perhaps before he was just going to the cold mines like the rest of them. But the fact he had gathered this much attention meant his situation in the future was going to be much harder.

He was very much intelligent and knew human nature.

So what if they were all going into the mines?

The fact he tried to appear special was already enough to draw hatred.

It was why he was unsure whether to laugh or cry.

'Interesting! That woman claiming to be my sister clearly is killing me using borrowed hands. This account, I'll write it down!' he swore to himself as coldness flashed deep inside his eyes.

He never expected he had entered a new world and got caught up in this cliche plot. Even developing some hatred towards someone.

Shaking his head, he threw that witch out of his mind.

Standing up, he felt pain all over.

Looking up, he could see the different expressions on the faces of those with the same fate as him.

Some had gloating expressions, while others seemed to avoid his gaze.

He noticed some didn't seem to care about anything that was happening around them.

'Interesting! It seems that I have been underestimating this people.' He noticed no more than such seven people.

Working in the banking industry in his previous life, he had seen all kinds of people and for him to have reached far he had a good understanding of them.

The expressions of this people clearly told him that they had plans.

It was just that this didn't make him excited, rather he was more apprehensive deep inside.

He didn't think that a demonic nest like the Hun clan would not have enemies.

Since they have enemies they were prone to either cause them trouble or rob them.

Regardless of what it was, it was not easy to survive when this happens.

He sighed internally at his bad luck.

He didn't move and sat by himself as though still sulking over his state.

Just as he had expected, someone indeed approached him.

'Couldn't control oneself anymore!' he thought as he looked towards the figure approaching him.

Looking closely, it was a woman with a cute appearance. No! To be precise the look on her face carried childhood innocence.

'Even at such a young age already learned how to deceive little boys!' he was already rating her in his mind.

This was clearly not something difficult, as he could see it from the way she was dressed.

Red dress with a long slit, most of her legs exposed and this was enough to make him understand this wasn't some coincidence.

'We aren't related in any way, how could this stranger be interested in my well-being? Especially in this demon den where one can't even protect themselves!' he thought to himself.

"Little brother! Are you okay?" She asked.

'I knew it!' this was Su Han's first thought after he heard her words.
