I ended up sighing softly, giving up and choosing to explain what had happened recently to Caleb.
"Of course, he's not a good person. If he were a good person, there's no way I would have come back and be with you like this," I replied, pulling the corners of my lips into a lazy smile.
Feeling that this would be a long story, I forced Caleb to sit back down in his chair. My mind would be distracted by his handsome face if he were too close to me.
"Tell me what he did to you." Finally, Caleb obeyed and sat quietly with his arms crossed in front of his chest.
"He intended to take me back, but I refused, and he started stalking me until he came to the filming location." I tried to smile, but ended up sighing when I remembered what Arden had done to me lately.
"He dared to do that to you?" Caleb got up from his seat, intending to leave immediately.
