Aria
It was almost 2 a.m. when I finally arrived home. Feeling anxious, I stepped carefully into the house. I thought my father wouldn't wait up for me this late, and that thought calmed me down a little.
However, as soon as I closed the door, I felt a chill run down my spine. I had a bad feeling when I sensed someone's presence there, and sure enough, when I turned around to look, I found my father standing behind me with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Father. I didn't think you would wait up for me," I said with a slight grin as I rubbed the back of my neck.
Without looking into my father's eyes, I could feel the cold emanating from his body. I could only stand there silently.
"Come with me," Father said briefly as he walked away toward his study.
I sighed softly and walked slowly behind Father. I began to wonder what Father really wanted to say to me that he was willing to wait for me to come home until this late at night.
