"What's going on?" Michael asked as he and Kieran drove back to the office.
They had already picked up the marriage certificate. While, Lilith had gone on her way, saying that she had something to do.
Kieran shrugged.
He rubbed the ring on his finger, "Boredom."
Michael looked at him in disbelief.
'What do you mean by boredom?' he thought.
"A crazy chihuahua wreaking havoc."
Kieran spoke longer this time. To satisfy Michael's bewilderment.
Michael wanted to ask whether Kieran had really married for that, for a front-row seat to her vengeance, but the word that followed confused him even more.
"Flowers."
Michael looked at Kieran blankly for a second when he suddenly spoke a word that had never left his lips before. After a bit, he understood what he meant.
Kieran wants him to buy flowers.
"You're visiting their graves?"
Kieran looked at him.
"Very well," Michael replied.
...
After separating from Kieran and Michael, I went near a certain villa.
I worked on my laptop while I waited for night to come.
Once the sky darkened, I made my move, going straight to the study where my target is currently in.
"Hi," I said as I entered the room.
The man looked at me in shock.
"You- How-"
"Shhh, don't be noisy. We don't want your family hearing us," I said as I locked the door.
I noticed his hand move under the table.
"You don't need that. It won't work now," I informed him.
But it didn't seem like he was listening.
Soon, he frowned and made his movement more noticeable.
"I told you that won't work," I once again said, walking towards his table.
*Click*
I pointed the gun and watched him flinch. He'd been more focused on the button under the desk than on what I was doing.
"Write every name. Everyone who ordered them to bully Amelia. Every parent, every teacher. Not one single name missing."
He swallowed hard, "I... don't know what you're talking about."
"I don't have much patience."
I showed him my phone screen. The feed was from the camera in his daughter's room, where she was being put to sleep by her mother.
"I heard you are obsessed with your wife and care a lot about your precious daughter."
I smiled as his face paled, understanding my words.
"She- Ame-"
"Shhh," I pushed the barrel harder into his temple.
"Don't sully her name. Your mouth is too filthy for how precious it is."
He pursed his lips.
"Just write the names. All of them, not a single one missing. Or else..."
I waved my phone in front of him.
"I… I need the pen…" he raised his hand, but the pen was farther than his reach.
I chuckled, put my phone in my pocket, and took out a folding knife.
"Who said you'd write with a pen? Use your blood, that's the best use it'll ever have."
He looked at it, and sweat trickled down his temple.
I took out my phone and showed him another camera from his villa.
This was one of the security rooms, where two people were present.
"Watch," I whispered.
His eyes widened when the two people in the video were suddenly shot in the head. Both fell off their chairs, and blood pooled beneath them.
"Now this," I continued whispering.
I showed him his daughter's room once again.
"I have people around, do you think I came here on my own and barged in without any plans?"
I chuckled softly, "I'm not that stupid."
His face paled even more upon seeing the two men die just like that.
"Now... write."
His hands shook. He dragged the knife across his palm and began writing names on the paper I had already placed in front of him.
As time passed, the names filled the paper. I had to place another one.
I glanced at the feed on my phone once again. The mother was patting the child very gently.
I used to watch my mother do the same when Amelia and I were younger.
"P- Please don't kill me. I- I have evidence of th- their crimes."
I snapped out of my thoughts when he once again spoke.
It seems he was almost done with his writing session.
"I won't kill you."
Relief flashed across his face.
"You will kill yourself," I whispered, like a devil whispering in his ears, asking for his life.
"Wha-"
"And I don't need evidence. Why would I care about those? Shedding their blood is all I need."
I raised my hand, now holding a needle, pushing it to an acupuncture point where he won't be able to move his body at will.
"This..." he was fearful.
"Don't fear now."
"I did not do anything to her," he almost begged.
But I just laughed, "You did not. Because you only watched... As the principal, you... only watched."
I held his hand, let it hold the gun before raising it to his temple.
"Please!!! PLEASE!!! I WANT TO LIVE!!! PLEASE!!!"
I nodded, "So did my sister."
"THAT WAS SUICIDE!!!"
"Do you think I'd believe that? Right now, aren't you going to commit suicide?"
"!!!"
*Bang*
His body went limp in his chair.
I looked at the camera in his office as I kept the papers where he had written the names on.
I walked to the door and opened it.
There stood his wife, shock and fear plastered on her face.
"He took his life."
I walked out and closed the door behind me.
"Your choice. Your freedom or your life?"
She blinked while swallowing hard, "My... husband... took his life."
I no longer said anything and simply left.
The principal was obsessed with his wife to the point where she was never allowed to step out of the house.
I looked at my phone, sent the video to Kieran's private email, and accompanying it was a message.
'Why not make a WhatsApp? You'll see all the juicy moments faster.'
Then I checked the camera of the security room I showed him a while ago.
I chuckled, seeing two living personnel.
"AI is truly amazing. I can even make such realistic scenes."
After stepping out, I looked back at the villa.
"How stupid of you."
