Gideon took a sharp step toward her.
"Gideon, don't…" Danica tugged at his arm. "She is upset. That's why she is speaking harshly. Summer…don't say such things. You are misunderstanding things."
"And I don't give a damn," Summer snapped back. "Keep your misunderstandings to yourselves."
She was too tired of arguing with them and walked past them. But Gideon grabbed her arm, stopping her.
"Why are you acting like this?" Gideon hissed in her ear. "You owe her an apology. Instead of saying sorry to her, you are attacking her! Do you have any sense of what you are doing?"
Summer held his gaze. "I haven't lost my senses, unlike you. I don't owe her anything." She shoved his hand away. "Back then, I couldn't prove my innocence. But this time, the proof is there." She nodded at the camera mounted in the corner. "Go check it yourself."
She walked away.
