On his first day as Arcane's husband, Julian felt confused about what to do because Arcane had told him not to do anything stupid in his house.
"I've washed my dishes and my clothes are still clean. Should I try walking around this area? Maybe then I'll find out if there's a convenience store or somewhere nearby where I can go to buy something," he muttered.
Without thinking twice, the green haired man immediately left Arcane's house and locked the door. He walked around the area and found out that there was a minimarket not far from his house.
"It's only a few minutes' walk to the minimarket. I can buy snacks here when I'm bored," he said, remembering the route he took.
Walking around, he realized that the area where he currently lived was quite comfortable and there weren't many people bothering him.
They seemed so friendly, some of them even walking around with their dogs, which looked tame.
Although they didn't know each other, they smiled at each other, signaling that they were greeting him. Julian was happy that he could live there, even if only temporarily.
"No wonder Arcane chose a place like this. The neighbors here don't seem bad. I feel like I'm still in the place where I was born because the people here also seem friendly."
After walking for 15 minutes, he found several shops lined up selling various items.
There he also saw several teenage girls wearing pink school uniforms Julian was still doesn't know. He didn't know which school they were from, but it seemed that their school was not far from where he was now.
"They can laugh freely and chat with each other while walking to school. I miss going to school with my friends," he muttered.
Curious, Julian looked for the nearest school to find out where the girls went. He followed them from behind, looking around, without realizing that the girls thought he was a stalker.
"Do you think that guy over there is following us?" said one of the girls, whispering to her friend next to her.
The girl next to her nodded her head. "Yes, I feel like he's been following us. Is he a stalker?"
"I don't know. But what if he really is a stalker and keeps following us? Which one of us is he after?"
They shook their heads, unsure who the man was targeting among them, even though he only wanted to know their school.
Julian innocently continued to follow them until he saw the three girls arrive at the school gate. The school looked so big and beautiful, with trees in the schoolyard that made it look so shady.
Out of fear, the three girls immediately approached the security guard at the school gate and told him that a man had been following them.
Julian, who was approaching the school gate, looked at the school, which turned out to be an all girls school because he didn't see any male students entering the school.
"Is this the school Arcane was talking about? It turns out the school is quite large and must be very expensive to attend," he muttered as he looked around the school grounds from outside the gate.
As he was looking around, someone suddenly tapped him on the shoulder from behind, causing him to turn around in surprise. It turned out to be the school security guard, who immediately assumed that Julian was a stalker or a pervert.
"What are you doing here? You look very suspicious, even following three students from this school," said the security guard.
"Following? No, no! I wasn't trying to follow them. I just wanted to know where they went to school because their uniforms looked really nice. I'm new around here, so I just wanted to know," Julian replied honestly, but the security guard didn't believe him.
Instead, he grabbed the back of his collar and pulled him into the school. "Yeah, yeah, the stalkers say the same thing too."
He began to panic because he couldn't escape from the large security guard who was pulling him inside.
"Let me go! Where are you taking me?!" he asked frantically.
"To the principal's office, of course. You have to explain everything to him! I won't let you go after the report we received."
His face immediately paled when he realized he was being dragged to the principal's office. He had only intended to find out about the school, but instead he had gotten himself into this mess.
'What should I do? Should I just call Marshal so he can help me?' he thought at that moment.
But he hesitated to do so, because his cousin would surely laugh at him if he found out he had been arrested for such a ridiculous reason.
When they arrived at the door, the security guard knocked on the principal's door and began to report about the stalker who was following their student.
"What? Bring him in here!" replied the principal in a firm voice, ordering the security guard to bring Julian in.
"Hey, the principal wants to see you! Hurry up and come in, and don't try anything stupid in front of him. Tell him honestly what you did, and he'll decide the rest."
"But I—"
Before he could finish speaking, the security guard pushed him into the principal's office. Julian's heart was pounding so hard that cold sweat beaded on his forehead because he was so scared to be there.
What if he was reported to the police for stalking or being a pervert who followed a teenage girl to school?
His reputation could be ruined in that town, and he would have a hard time finding a job later on. Worse still, if they reported this to his family in the small town.
His father would be furious if he believed that Julian was really a stalker.
"A stalker following a girl at school? How shameless. How could he follow a teenage girl like a pervert!" commented a man who was also in the room.
Julian felt familiar with the voice of the man who commented on him. He immediately lifted his bowed head and looked at the man standing in front of him with his back to him.
'Wait... This voice, isn't he...'
As soon as the man turned around, they were both surprised when their eyes met.
"You—"
