Chapter 36 - Into The Danger
The place was cold and dark and for a moment she was certain that she had made a grave mistake. The pendant was heavy in her hands, her breath too hot that she couldn't breath.
What bothered her most though was that it was too dark for her to see anything.
She should see something already.
Be certain of something already.
This darkness was filled with too much uncertainty.
She didn't know what to do with anything.
The air felt too clinical. It was obvious this wasn't a place she was supposed to be in. But she was here anyways despite the danger, she knew that there would be a problem but she was here for it and felt certain that it was a now or never opportunity.
She did recognize that she had been stupid for coming here without a weapon. But well, it was too late to turn back now.
She would just have to survive this.
So she took a deep breath, reached for the walls, felt her way around in the dark and began to walk.
