'Just like I thought, thankfully I didn't decide to put most of the attribute points into strength yesterday. '
Ragna stared at the system and the messages he had received.
Each of his stats had one extra point added to them, besides the extra four attribute points he had received from completing the daily quest this morning. Just like he did yesterday, he quickly shared these four attribute points among Agility, Perception, and Stamina.
As for strength, since it would always increase by one whenever he leveled up Ragna didn't care too much about it for now.
He wanted to increase those three core attributes to a certain level before focusing on strength.
After placing two attribute points to Agility, one to Perception, and one to Stamina, Ragna opened the system.

Just like yesterday, with each point added to his attribute he would feel a subtle increase in his body.
However, the next day, he noticed that the daily quest had slightly increased in difficulty, except for the sleeping quest, which still required him to sleep for ten minutes each day.
But this was within his expectations, since from the little he had understood about the system, it was there to make him grow stronger, so even though he was a bit surprised, he was happy about it.
As days passed, Ragna kept completing daily quests and distributing the attribute points he got as rewards. He could feel his body growing through minor changes, adapting to the training and increasing his power.
No one noticed this except the Cursed fragment soul in his mind, since it was either talking with Ragna or quiet inside his mind.
The cursed fragment soul could sense Ragna was becoming stronger by the day, but could not understand how, since all it saw Ragna do was some exercises and then doze off for a while, nevertheless, it was happy.
Being a failed awakener all its life, it never got to know what it feels like to become stronger, it was just like Ragna had told him.
Though it had access to Ragna's mind it couldn't read his memories as if something was blocking it from doing so.
Another thing it noticed was that each time Ragna did these exercises, he would always stare at the air as if he was looking at something that only he could see.
And whenever it tried to ask Ragna, it would be ignored; eventually, it gave up and stopped caring about it.
Meanwhile, Ragna had also noticed the same thing, it seemed like the cursed fragment soul in his mind couldn't see the system messages except for him.
At first, he thought maybe he was imagining things, but eventually, he realized it truly couldn't, and when he tried to ask the cursed fragment soul about it, he would experience headaches all day.
It was like the system didn't want anyone to know about its existence except for him. Another thing he had realized was, if he didn't sleep for ten minutes like the system quest requested him to, he would experience excruciating headaches all day, with his mind incapable of focusing on anything.
Sleeping for ten minutes would be the only thing that would relieve him of the excruciating headaches.
These events were meaningful for two reasons, the first was him being a cursed one, meaning he was literally cursed. The second was the cursed fragment soul in his mind. According to the system, he could absorb an infinite amount of cursed fragment souls and gain their abilities.
However, the downside was that he would be equally plagued by their resentment, despite him being a cursed one in his original world, Ragna could not bypass these shortcomings.
Luckily, it was only one cursed fragment soul he had absorbed so far, so despite experiencing headaches, it wasn't exactly serious; however, it was only a matter of time before it became worse, since he would need to absorb more cursed fragment souls in order to increase his abilities.
Eventually, a week soon passed, and within the academy, the bell for break time had just rang.
The long-awaited break hour had just arrived, and students could be seen happily walking out of their classes. Among those students was a sleepy-looking student, Ragna, who was currently on his way to the academy cafeteria as usual, yawning.
He was yawning after dozing off during class hours, and was starving. The training seems to be taking a toll on his stomach as the amount of food he needs seems to be increasing gradually.
Ragna thought it was only natural since his body was quickly growing and adapting to his current level of power, since the body had been dormant due to the previous Ragna failing to completely awaken his bloodline.
Although he didn't have any money with him, the academy always gave out free food to the students, and for those who had money with them, they could also purchase special meals and treats from the cafeteria.
Since he was barely given any food at home, Ragna had no choice but to always eat to his fill at the academy cafeteria, since this was the only source of food. At this moment he couldn't help but look at the interface in front of him.

At this moment, his core attributes were already over twenty attribute points, especially his Agility, so during the week, he had started to invest some of his attribute points in strength.
With most of his attributes already hitting twenty, Ragna thought it was the right thing to do, since he didn't want his strength to fall behind the rest of his attributes.
Eventually, Ragna stopped at a building where students from different blocks could be seen with trays filled with food, moving about.
There were noisy discussions as everyone had things and the latest news to talk about.
While both boys and girls had their own discussions, there were those who mingled among themselves. At the same time, some of them had their smartphones, doing different things, which he didn't bother to pay attention to.
Ragna had never bothered about mingling whenever he came to the cafeteria, since all his focus had always been on filling his stomach, and little conversations with the cursed fragment soul in his mind nothing else.
Ragna took a tray from the counter, and walked towards the lady dishing out food, and got his lunch, which was rice and weird-looking meat, but since the meat didn't taste bad, he didn't care about its looks.
The lady gave him a deep look as Ragna thanked her, before leaving for an emty table to eat.
Ragna sat down and began gulping in his food in mouthfuls. The students within the cafeteria gave him all kinds of weird stares, but he wasn't bothered; it wasn't like their stares could fill his stomach.
While he was focused on the food, the noise in the cafeteria seemed to have increased as if some sort of celebrity had arrived but Ragna didn't give a fuck nevertheless.
"Wow, it really is Hansen, with his two right-hand guys, Galadima and Ned."
"Urgh, those guys always smell like trouble whenever they go. I wonder what they are doing in this place since they never visit the cafeteria on their own?"
"Hansen seemed to have become even stronger, just from the energy radiating from his presence."
"The same could be said about Galadima and Ned."
