Chapter 7 - The Belly House

Magma Bima sucked in air as Neil and the Phaged both got pulled.

They landed over its tongue. Just as Neil was about to execute the next part of his plan, he saw that this time the Kong was actually not dead.

'Ah shit, is it because of that silicone liquid?' But he didn't have to worry for long, since they were instantly pulled towards the throat of the Bima.

He instantly imagined the sort of fluid he wanted to create.

To let him pass through safely, it had to be super slippery to cut down friction, thick enough to cushion against crushing, able to spread and reform quickly to keep protecting, and just sticky enough to stay around without being squeezed away.

And one liquid wouldn't be enough to pass all the points, so he would have to create a mess of fluids.

Neil mixed a slick silicone oil with a cushioning hydrogel, a thin flexible biopolymer, and other fluids and finally had his suit ready.

The fluid clung to his skin as his body got dragged into the throat.

[Upgrade progress: 73%]

The pain-filled screams of the Kong reverberated as its body got crushed, while Neil actually managed to survive the extreme constrictions, his body slipping down, and after passing by the oesophagus, he safely landed in the creature's belly.

He fell down in what seemed to be a big room, dark, wet, sticky and with pulsating walls. Nemo instantly turned on the flashlights present in his body suit.

It was filled with acidic gastric juices that were slowly dissolving everything the monster had eaten, strange sounds constantly ringing around.

'Haa Part 1 of the plan succeeded, that was… quite the experience. But now do I wait to get thrown out naturally or try to kill it from inside?' Neil pondered, and the choice was obvious.

He had to do his all to try to kill this creature. That was his only way to survive for now.

[Progress: 100%]

[Upgrade completed!]

'Finally!! Nemo.' Neil was still holding his breath as he removed the fluid from around his head, and the battle suit instantly opened a helmet, providing him with oxygen.

"Hoo hoo Thanks Nemo. Anyway, check how much food and water we have and any other resources." Neil questioned, sitting down.

With the mess of liquid present around his body suit, the juices of the stomach wouldn't hurt him at all.

"There is enough water to last over one month and enough food for around 20-22 days. Bandages and some other medicines, an axe, knife, some comics, some money, and a few other necessary materials such as rope." Nemo replied in its melodic tone.

"That's good, I was starting to feel thirsty. Give me some water and can you find any weakness in this Bima's body?"

Neil questioned as a pipe connected to his mouth inside the suit and delivered tasty cold water.

"Haa That was refreshing, guess fully upgraded battle suits do have their benefits." Neil muttered.

"Mention not, master. And there is a big difference between your strengths. I couldn't find any possible weakness." Nemo replied, appearing disappointed.

"Before we start, isn't it strange? I have been using my ability so much yet I didn't even feel nearing my limits? Was my synergy really that low?" he questioned.

Spikes grew under his feet that allowed him to stand properly despite the thick slippery fluid. Now Neil doubted that the authority might have changed his results.

"Scanning… Access Locked! Overruled in accordance to the current situation. Yes, they did change your synergy percentage." Nemo replied after a few moments of going back and forth.

"…So what is it?" Neil asked, his brows furrowing.

"The tests showed you have two different synergies. One was 99% while the other was just 11%." Nemo answered, her voice sounding confused.

"That's strange, but seeing that I am still not running out of energy then I guess it should be 99%. Sigh I have never heard a synergy that high, no one has even reached 95%." Neil mumbled, his mind a mess of emotions.

Just because of that false number, so much had changed in his life. Yet he felt it was better that he got to see Jane's reality. All the love, everything was just a display, none of it was real.

He pushed Jane out of his mind. The two had already separated and it was time to erase her from his memories.

"Haa Now how do we take care of this big boy?" Neil sighed, gazing around. Thankfully Nemo was here or he really might go crazy.

Staying inside the belly was suffocating and induced so many different types of fears.

And Neil didn't possess much info about this beast.

The most plausible way was to use toxins, but it would take a long time based on the creature's immune system and difference between the two's strengths.

Thankfully the science he studied back on Earth was coming in handy.

Neil quickly thought of mixing different solutions such as blood-destroying hemotoxin, metabolic poison, water-soluble neurotoxin, and more that would paralyze it, poison the blood, result in organ failure, and kill it eventually.

"Hoo Alright time to get to work. Nemo, can you play a song? Also bring out the axe."

Neil said, walking closer to the stomach wall. He chose the safest side away from the exit and where the amount of acid was slightly less.

"Yes master, playing the classic of old times from the playlist of Aunt May… Rasputin!" Nemo said before bringing out the axe.

This upgraded battle suit possessed some spatial storage. This was something humanity obtained from one of the races in space.

Holding the axe tightly, Neil aimed at the squishy fleshy wall and struck the wall with all his might.

KCCHHH!

Without stopping, he hit again and again, tearing the flesh of the Magma Bima, just hoping magma didn't flow through its veins instead of blood.

After twenty or so strikes, Neil finally managed to inflict a deep enough wound as blood began to pour out. Thankfully the Bima didn't even seem to feel any pain from such a tiny wound and no magma came out.

"That's good enough, let's start." Neil muttered as he extended his hands and pushed them a bit into the wound, and in the next moment, a deadly mix of toxins began to pour out.

Releasing it into the wound directly would allow the toxins to enter quickly and spread throughout its body efficiently.

Minutes turned into hours and hours blended into days.

Neil continued to release more and more toxins into the creature's body, and would rest whenever he felt exhausted.

For now, there was enough food, water, and oxygen.

But still staying inside the Magma Bima was extremely tough, the whole place seemed so disgusting.

The Magma Bima's immune system was really strong. Even after a week, it only showed signs of slight weakening.

But Neil persevered. There were times when the amount of acid would increase or the Bima would swallow more food.

Whenever he slept, Nemo was there to keep watch, so he could get some quality sleep or rather the best he could get inside a creature's belly.

Over fifteen days had passed and the Bima finally started weakening, its immune system failing to fight against the toxins any longer.

Over the sixteenth and seventeenth days, the large creature started to let out loud painful screams, its body hitting something again and again.

On the eighteenth day, the Bima had stopped moving, letting out laboured and painful breaths.

But just as Neil felt exhausted and decided to rest for the day, the belly of the creature suddenly began to tremble.

'What's going on?' Startled, he jumped to his feet and got ready to execute his Aquamorph skill based on the situation.

"This seems to be the last defence mechanism of this Bima, extreme danger sensed. No path to escape!" Nemo's panicked voice sounded suddenly.

And before Neil could even think, the belly suddenly constricted, the walls squeezing in rapidly.

'Fuck, not now, I was so close!!' He felt despair.

These few weeks inside the creature's belly had been extremely difficult and he didn't want to go through all of it again.

Even with his battle suit, enough food, water and oxygen, the experience was tramitizing.
