Upon arriving at the prison, he saw the Mandalorian, leaning against the wall with his legs crossed.
"You're here, Kote Vizsla. Have you come to interrogate me again?" he asked mockingly.
Kote's anger flared, and he kicked the Mandalorian, knocking him to the ground. "Name and purpose!"
"Sala Salarson. I came to kill you all. No one hired me, and it has nothing to do with Death Watch." Sala, lying on the ground, laughed. Seeing that the man was completely insane, Kote directly kicked Sala unconscious.
"Salarson is one of the Vizsla's subordinate families, and when you mentioned Death Watch, it doesn't matter if he is or isn't, you fool." Kote left the prison and sent a communication to the Traditional Mandalorians.
After receiving the communication, a recorded message played: "If you require bounty hunter services, due to the Mandalorian Civil War, all services are temporarily suspended. Please leave a message after the beep."
"?" A question mark appeared above Kote's head. How could bounty hunters offer such a comprehensive service?
"I need to speak with Jango Fett. I am Kote Vizsla, representing the New Mandalorians and the Traditional Mandalorians, to negotiate how to deal with Death Watch." Kote left a message after the beep. This was his first time using this message service, and it felt very strange.
Not long after, a private communication was sent. Kote accepted the holographic communication and found it was indeed Jango Fett, whom he was looking for.
"Hello, Jango, I'm Kote Vizsla," Kote greeted first.
"Vizsla? You're Pre Vizsla's son. It seems you're as much an anomaly as your father, but I didn't expect you to directly join the New Mandalorian faction. What kind of agreement do you want to make with us?" Jango asked directly.
"We want to form a formal alliance with you. After all, we have no direct conflicts of interest and share a common enemy. We will also formally permit the Super Commando Codex to be spread among the New Mandalorians, spreading Merryl's dying wish. We will launch an offensive against them on Sundari, while you will raid them on Concord Dawn," Kote proposed.
"That's a very good proposal, but we need more credits or corresponding resources to sign this agreement. After all, it would be too childish to decide such a major resolution just through conversation, wouldn't it?" Jango thought for a moment and put forward his demands.
"Then come to Sundari to sign the agreement and discuss the specific terms. After all, this benefits you too, and you also want to kill Tor Vizsla, right?" Kote said bluntly.
"You're far more politically astute than your father. We will arrive on Sundari in ten days."
"We will await your arrival on Sundari." Kote ended the communication. He planned to expand his side's advantage, so he had to bring his fleet to help secure victory.
Kote returned to his quarters and sent a signal to the adjutant on the Hyperion. "Adjutant, how is the mining progressing?"
"Everything is going smoothly so far, but our mining drones cannot enter the ruins. However, the minerals we've collected are sufficient for the development of new fighter jets."
"Then start building a Starport and a Heavy Factory. We desperately need these now."
On Vadyl, mining drones were diligently extracting minerals, and the Hyperion's modular buildings, having received instructions, had already begun construction on Vadyl. Based on the current mineral output, it was enough to build a Starport and a Heavy Factory. The modular construction was very fast, capable of completing the module's construction in less than a day. After that, the slow process of building new weapons and equipment could begin.
"I will begin construction very soon, Commander, but building new fighters or ground equipment will take at least twenty days to complete. So, for now, we only have the current equipment available."
"That's enough. I will go immediately and bring the equipment back." Kote made a decision; he needed more trump cards.
At the airport, people were test-flying Viking fighters and attempting to transform them into mech mode, but transforming into mech mode was a very difficult training. More often, they were just test-flying the Viking fighters. At this time, Kote arrived and explained in detail how to transform into mech mode, and also told everyone that more Viking fighters and new spacecraft would be waiting for them in the future.
The warriors cheered. After all, more equipment meant a higher survival rate in the upcoming war. Even though they chose to join the pacifist faction, the warriors didn't fully understand pacifism; they only joined to protect their families.
Satine also heard the cheers. She didn't understand what they were cheering about, and the people next to her explained, but Satine frowned because this didn't align with the pacifism she believed in. If this continued, their side would completely become the new Death Watch. However, in wartime, this was completely understandable and a necessary evil, so she could only let it happen.
Kote also saw his cousin there and quickly went over to tell her that a preliminary agreement had been reached with Jango Fett to negotiate on Sundari in ten days, and that he needed to secure more negotiating terms before then to expand his side's advantage.
"You mean to first reclaim parts of Sundari currently under Death Watch control? Then I'll send personnel to act with you. For heavy ground equipment, we only have six Saber-class combat tanks. In the sky, we only have eighteen Kom'rk-class fighter/transport, and if we count your new equipment and that one, it's a total of twenty. These are all the deployable assets we currently have." Satine understood Kote's idea and stated the remaining deployable equipment.
"I know all this, cousin, but all I need are personnel and some grenades. We're going to secretly attack their armory, cut off their current supplies, and then you all will launch a frontal assault. Also, where is my cousin, Riegel?" Kote told Satine that he only needed a fast-moving team, then suddenly remembered his convenient cousin.
"If that's all, you can just pick the people you need, and I'll handle the rest. Riegel is currently in another dome city. Death Watch doesn't have enough forces to attack places other than the Concord Dawn system and Sundari simultaneously, so he's currently reassuring the people in various cities."
"Alright, once ready, I will launch the surprise attack directly." Kote began selecting the personnel he needed, starting with those in his squad who were over fifteen years old, and some agile individuals, forming a thirty-person assault team. He also selected the necessary equipment, prioritizing melee weapons like Beskar daggers, and essential sticky explosives, timed explosives, and fragmentation grenades – all crucial for destroying structures.
After everyone was selected and equipped, Kote displayed a holographic projection of the entire armory and explained to everyone that this was not a frontal assault but a surprise attack to destroy their armory. Each person would be responsible for a specific destruction area, and everyone would complete their installation tasks, then withdraw and join the frontal assault team when the explosions began.
Finally, Satine's team would launch the final attack. This was the current plan, but they would adapt as needed during the operation, protect their lives, and complete the mission to the best of their abilities.
