In the dim study room, Alistair sat on the enormous chair, his eyes fixed on the file in his hands as he read through it with full focus. It was early morning and instead of going for a run with the rest of his pack, he was here, trying to deal with the pile of work on his desk. He had barely slept, but he forced himself to keep going.

He stopped when he met the dark stare his Alpha gave him. Silas quickly cleared his throat and changed the topic. "I brought the information you asked for."
