In the clearing, There was a small lake,water flowed into the lake from a waterfall. This water was the life source for the pride, Lions came to drink from the lake quenching their thirst.
The water originated from a river that was on the cliff that separated the Pride from another part of the forest. The scene Infront of Leo was picturesque, the waterfall was more beautiful than anything he had seen in his past life.
"This is where the pride lives, That lake is where we drink and nextt to it are the dens for high ranking warriors and the alpha lion and his close subordinates, the further dens are for middle ranked warriors/lions like me and after it are the ones for low ranked lions, the ones that are the furthest are for guests and new lions" Victor explained.
"Do you have money on you?" Victor asked.
"I don't have anything on me" Leo answered. 'How are lions going to keep money?' He thought.
"Give me your paw" Victor demanded.
"Okay.." Leo raised his paw infront of him warily.
Victor placed his paw on Leo's, Suddenly Leo felt as if a current of electricity passed though him.
"Transaction successfull, 300 coins added to your balance" A voice spoke in his head, it was similar to the systems voice from before yet it sounded different.
"Thank you so much Victor" Leo thanked Victor without thinking of what happened, 'what was that voice, and what just happened' .
"If you ever need anything from me, come to my den it's in the area for middle ranked lions, my name is engraved in the rock next to the entrance of my den," Victor said before walking away.
'Victor is really nice, I should repay him later after I figure out how to get money on my own' Leo thought.
For now, Leo needed to find someone that renting out a den. He went to the dens that were the furthest from the lake and looked around.
Next to the entrance of one of the dens, was a rock. 'For rent, find Darell in the middle ranked section for more information' was engraved on the rocks. Leo decided to go to the middle ranked section to find Darell, it didn't take long before Leo found a den with Darell engraved next to it.
He knocked on the entrance 3 times, Then a lion roughly his size emerged from the den. "Hello, how may I help you?" Darell asked.
"Hello I am Leo, I want to rent a den from you in the furthest section" Leo answered.
"Come inside and I will tell you the details" Darell entered the den.
Leo followed him inside, hoping it would be cheap. He didn't know how much 300 coins were in this weird place, were they alot or were they barely anything.
Darell invited to sit on the chair shaped rock that was across of his own chair, it's shape was different from the shape humans used since it was for lions it was closer to the ground. Surprisingly, the chair was pretty comfortable. "You said you wanted the den in the furthest section,so that would be around....10 coins per month" Darell explained.
Leo's eyes lit up when he heard the price, it was so cheap compared to what Victor gave him. "Deal." Leo agreed without thinking. "I have a question tho, how exactly do I pay, I don't understand how money transactions work" He asked.
Darell gave him a weird look, it was weird for someone not to know how money transactions work but he explained anyways. "You grab my paw with yours and think of the ammount you want to give me, you can also put your paw on your head while thinking of a stats page to check your stats and balance."
'Stats? What are those, whatever I'll check them out later,' Leo thought. "Oh, thank you!" Leo thanked Darell before grabbing his paw.
"10 coins deducted from balance" The voice from before said.
"Follow me, I'll show you your new den," Darell said before walking away with Leo right behind him.
Darell placed his paw on the rock that said the den was for rent then it suddenly started glowing, light gathered on the rock then the writing changed and displayed 'Leo' instead. Since there were no other lions named Leo in the pride he didn't have to add an extra nickname to differentiate between him and another lion.
"This den is officially yours, congrats!" Darell congratulated Leo on the purchase, Darell had a smile on his face, well ofcourse he did, He got a new customer after all.
"If you need anything you know where to find me." Darell walked away happily.
Leo walked into his new den, he found a chair and sat on it. It wasn't as comfortable as the one in Darell's den but he didn't mind.
Leo placed his paw on his head and he started thinking of a stats page. Suddenly an image appeared in his mind.

'Damn it, why am I so weak, all of my stats are at 1, I need to figure out how to get XP or Skill points or else I'm gonna get beaten up, just like the old days on the streets' Leo thought for a while on how to level up.
After a while Leo decides to go outside, he might find some clues there.
Leo left his den, he looked around and saw a commercial area, it was filled with low market stands made out of flat rocks. A variety of products were placed on the stands, but most of the stands sold food.
"How much does a steak cost?" Leo asked a vendor.
"For high quality meat it's 1 coin per steak, for normal meat it's 1 coin per 2 steaks," The vendor replied.
"I'll buy the 2 normal steaks," Leo raised his paw and the vendor grabbed his paw.
"1 coin deducted from balance" The voice spoke, Leo decided to name this voice the Skill system and the voice from when he reincarnated the Reincarnation system.
He grabbed the steaks with his claws then an image appeared infront of him.

Leo though of choosing yes then the steaks suddenly glowed and disappeared, Leo opened the Stats page again to see if they were really in his inventory.

So the steaks really were in his inventory now, he was amazed for a while standing there for a while before walking away.
He walked for 10 minutes, and now infront of him was a large den with a sign saying 'Library', he walked into the library hoping he would find something about the Stats page or how he could level up.
The receptionist greeted Leo then asked for a 1 coin fee to enter the library, he paid then she gave him a weird amulet. "You can use this amulet to levitate the books and switch pages, just think about it and it's going to work, also it's linked to tho books only so don't try levitating yourself, a couple of people have tried to do that already" The lioness explained.
Leo listened to her then walked further into the library, he skimmed the name of books looking for something about the stats page.
Then finally, He found a helpful book.
