Seeing the Sand Ninja's grave expression, Kakashi couldn't resist taunting him with a mocking tone.
The Sharingan in his left eye completely altered his vision, making everything clearer and more precise. However, it also drained his chakra at an accelerated rate.
The moment Kakashi activated his Sharingan, he instinctively closed his right eye. This was unavoidable, as the visual perception between his two eyes was completely different. Opening both eyes simultaneously would overwhelm him, forcing him to rely solely on his left eye. It was only then that Kakashi understood why the original Kakashi in the manga always closed his right eye when using the Sharingan.
*I need to resolve this issue eventually,* Kakashi thought to himself as he closed his right eye. *Having to close my right eye every time I reveal the Sharingan is terrible for my image! Or maybe I should get another Sharingan? But first, I need to master control over the Sharingan. Otherwise, two Sharingan will drain me to death!*
"Hmph!" the Lightning Release Sand Ninja scoffed, his hands already forming another set of hand seals. "So what if you have the Sharingan?!"
"Lightning Release: Lightning Flash!"
"Lightning Release: Lightning Flash!"
"What?!"
Just as the Sand Ninja completed his hand seals, Kakashi executed an identical Lightning Release technique!
The Sand Ninja was stunned and hastily dodged the attack.
*Boom!*
A bolt of lightning struck down mere millimeters from his side the moment he moved!
*He's only awakened a single Sharingan, yet he's already this powerful? He can even copy ninjutsu!*
The Lightning Release Sand Ninja was inwardly shocked. He scrutinized Kakashi's left eye and realized the tomoe weren't singular, but doubled!
*This is bad!*
Remembering the abilities granted by the Uchiha Clan's two-tomoe Sharingan, the Lightning Release Sand Ninja immediately cursed himself for staring directly into Kakashi's eye.
*Genjutsu: Hell Viewing Technique!*
Kakashi seized the opportunity. While the Sand Ninja's gaze remained locked on his Sharingan, he unleashed a genjutsu, instantly trapping the ninja in an illusion.
*Lightning Release: Chidori!*
A faint smirk curled Kakashi's lips as the Chidori crackled to life in his right hand once more. With the Sand Ninja ensnared in the illusion, now was the perfect moment to strike.
*Chiiiii!*
*Thrust!*
With the Chidori blazing in his palm, Kakashi surged forward, the lightning-infused blade aimed directly at the Sand Ninja's heart.
As Kakashi charged halfway, the Lightning Release Sand Ninja broke free from the genjutsu. After all, it was just an ordinary illusion; Kakashi hadn't mastered any of the more powerful techniques yet. But Kakashi never expected the genjutsu to trap his opponent. All he needed was that split second of mental disorientation when the illusion struck!
"It's too late to break free now!"
Watching his opponent regain clarity, Kakashi smirked inwardly. With his Sharingan activated, he unleashed his full speed, his figure instantly closing the distance to the Lightning Release Sand Ninja's chest.
"Die!"
Seeing the terror in the ninja's eyes, Kakashi's lips curled into a cruel smile. With a cold shout, he thrust the Chidori ruthlessly toward the ninja's heart.
"Wind Release: Wind Death Slice!"
But just as the Chidori was about to pierce the ninja's heart, a faint voice echoed silently from behind Kakashi. Simultaneously, he sensed an overwhelming danger descending upon him.
"There's another enemy..."
Kakashi's heart jolted with shock. Abandoning his immediate target—the Lightning Release Sand Ninja—he vanished in a burst of speed.
*Swoosh!*
The instant Kakashi dodged, an invisible yet razor-sharp wind blade sliced through the air where he had stood. Had he lingered to kill the Sand Ninja, he would have paid dearly.
The wind blade's passage caused the Lightning Release Sand Ninja's pupils to tremble again, before his face lit up with elation.
*Lord Kamikaze Valley has arrived...*
The Sand Ninja's heart surged with relief. The reinforcements the Kazekage had promised were finally here. He turned eagerly, his eyes landing on a young man with long purple hair, clad in Sand Ninja attire. His savior was none other than Kamikaze Valley, the second strongest ninja in Sand Village, surpassed only by the Fourth Kazekage himself!
Not only the Lightning Release Sand Ninja, but Dragon and his team instantly recognized Kamikaze Valley's identity, their eyes widening with alarm.
Though Kamikaze Valley lacked the fame of Konoha's Three Great Sannin or the Yellow Flash, he was a legendary figure in Sand Village, a name that resonated with power and prestige.
*Whoosh! Whoosh!*
Seeing the sudden reinforcements, especially from Kamikaze Valley, Dragon and his team immediately ceased their attack and formed a protective barrier around Mizuta Mu.
"Kamikaze Valley... so it's you Sand Ninja. Your Sand Village has quite the audacity!" Dragon demanded coldly, his voice sharp as he shielded Mizuta Mu behind him.
