As the car hit the tree, Joseph had hit his head to the steering wheel, the airbag had opened late. The woman screamed in panic, thankfully since she was wearing seatbelt amidst all this chaos, she was able to escape major injuries. But Joseph was bruised in his forehead, he was bleeding.
There was no place to escape, the other monsters didn't bother them. But the monsters who saw them started getting in the car, entering through the car as if it was transparent. But some weren't able to pass through, they rammed the door.
The monsters which didn't see the car were unbothered, it was as if they weren't able to hear a thing. Joseph's consciousness was slipping away, the woman wanted to get out she yelled for help.
"HELP!"
"SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!"
But everyone had locked themselves up, they had to save themselves afterall.
Joseph was growing unconscious with each passing second.
'Am I going to die? ' he thought 'I don't want to die, Mary, Rick, I want to return to them '
He tried to pull himself back, but it was already late as the monsters started feasting the woman.
"Aggh, HELP!"
Blood started to sputter all over Joseph's face, his body started to shiver. He wasn't able to do anything.
How pathetic.
The monsters started eating him too.
"Aaaah" he screamed in pain.
He wanted to live, he wanted to see his wife and his son. He started kicking the monster some attacks went through hurting the goat faced monster, but some didn't it was as if his leg passed through the monster's body.
He started moving violently, but the car was cramped and he wasn't able o do anything. Besides seeing the horror infront of him, his body shuddered. The woman's screams remained in his ear even after she was dead. There was no head, the monsters had already eaten it.
As the monster's eyes fell on him they all jumped on him biting him off.
"Aaah"
Blood sputtered all over. In desperate attempt to escape, he tried to bite one of the monster, it was the goat faced monster. But his bite passed right through its body, but he but again, this time his bite had affected the monster.
*Skreech*
It pulled back but after some time, it jumped right on his face and started to eat him. The other monsters weren't as big as the goat faced, one of the tiny monster entered in his mouth. His face was already disfigured.
Involuntarily, Joseph swallowed the tiny monster. He choked ar first, he was already in pain and was screaming, this didn't seem to matter to him. He was continuously moving in his seat, he wanted to reach for the door handle, but he failed as one of the monsters started to eat his hand.
The inside of the cop car was now completely covered in red.
Joseph was dying, with each second. His screams weren't as strong as before.
He already surrendered.
He remember his wife and his little boy.
He had given up.
But suddenly his stomach started churning involuntarily, he puked a strange black liquid. The monsters who saw that backed off, their attention seemed to sway on a dog whic was passing by.
Joseph was now left alone, his body full of bite marks and a missing arm, missing eyes, a huge bite had taken out a chunk of his right chest.
He wanted to scream unable to hear the pain, but there was no real voice coming out.
He silently whispered, that's all he could do.
But suddenly, he was overwhelmed by a strange sensation in his body. His bones started to grow back slowly and his muscles grew back, there were new eyes which were building out.
He felt so strong at the moment, his body started to cover up with a strange black mist. His blue eyes glowed, strength started surging.
He was now completely recovered.
But now he could see in the dark.
'What is happening? ' he thought.
He couldn't believe what was happening. He could see in the dark, he felt strong.
The black glowing mist now covered his entire body, even his face, he looked like a knight with an Armor on him.
But seeing the corpse infront of him, he almost puked.
The corpse didn't have any head, it's limbs were all torn up. Nobody could have believed that this was the woman from earlier.
Joseph wasn't able to wrap his head around the things which were happening. What was this madness? He wanted to drive away but he was scared of those monsters, they can just walk through the car as if it was transparent.
'If there can travel through walls and cars, then how did my physical attacks work. Come to think of it, some weren't able to come inside the car. '
It seemed that there intangible ability had a limit afterall.
He tried to contact his colleagues but his walkie-talkies seemed to have been damaged.
He was scared to go outside. From the window he could see that the goat faced monster from earlier was now tearing apart the dog. Joseph covered his mouth.
But unfortunately for him one of the monsters accidentally saw him.
*Skreech*
It lunged forward, trying to enter in the car. It failed the first time as it hit itself to the car, but the second time it passed through the door.
Joseph who was now covered in the black glowing mist panicked. He was scared, the monster looked like a cat with an upside down head.
He kicked it.
But this time his attack seemed to do a lot of damage. He was surprised, but he continued kicking the monster continuously. Slamming it with his foot against the corpse, Joseph didn't care about the corpse now, he wanted to save himself.
He kicked consecutively.

The monster screamed, after continuously kicking it, he finally killed it.
His heart was beating fast the whole time.
He killed a monster!
