Sophia and Prince Henry were led to a large, ornate room deep within the resistance's hideout. The air was thick with tension, and the faces of the gathered nobles and guards were grim.
Alexander stood at the front of the room, a map of the palace spread out before him. "This is where we'll make our move," he said, pointing to a spot on the map.
Sophia's eyes widened as she recognized the location. "The throne room," she whispered to Prince Henry.
He nodded, his eyes fixed on Alexander. "What's the plan?"
Alexander smiled, his eyes gleaming with determination. "We'll take the Queen and her loyalists by surprise. With your royal presence, Prince Henry, we can rally the guards and the people to our side."
The room erupted into a murmur of discussion, with nobles and guards debating the merits of the plan. Sophia listened intently, her mind racing with possibilities.
Suddenly, a voice rose above the din. "I agree with the plan," said a regal voice.
Sophia's eyes turned to the speaker, and her breath caught. It was Princess Emily, Prince Henry's sister, standing tall and proud in her royal attire.
"I'll support you, brother," she said, her eyes shining with tears. "We can bring the Queen to justice and restore our family's honor."
The room fell silent, and all eyes turned to Prince Henry. He stood tall, his shoulders back, and nodded. "Then it's settled. We'll make our move tonight."
The room erupted into cheers, and Sophia felt a surge of hope. Maybe, just maybe, they could actually pull this off.
As the meeting broke up, Sophia felt a hand on her arm. It was Alexander, his eyes serious. "I need to talk to you, Sophia. There's something you should know."
Sophia's heart skipped a beat. What now?
"What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Alexander's eyes were somber. "The Queen has a secret alliance with a powerful foreign nation. If we don't stop her, she'll sell out our kingdom to the highest bidder."
Sophia's eyes widened in shock. "What?"
Alexander nodded, his face grim. "It's true. We have to move fast, or it'll be too late."
