Danny, Tucker, Sam, Sidney, Kim, and Ron made it to school on time and split up to go to their own lockers. When Danny pulled up to his locker, he found it clean and fixed.
-
"
-
"
-
"" Sid whispered before flying off.
-
Danny locked his locker and turned to find Dash and his group walking by. Danny also saw Kim standing further down the hall. Danny headed for her, trying to ignore Dash, and luckily, Dash seemed to ignore Danny as he didn't try to start something. 'Maybe Mr. Barkin is already making a change.' Danny thought as Dash was behind him.
-
"Hey Kim. Ready to start the day?" Danny asked the red headed hero.
-
"If I say no, can we go home?" Kim jokingly asked back to the raven-haired boy.
-
Danny thought about it for a moment. "I don't think so. The first decision we'd have to make is your home or mine." He said, tilting his head to the side.
-
Kim blushed at that. "I was joking, Danny. Let's get to our first class." She said, flustered as she walked away from her friend.
=
Danny, Jazz, Tucker, Sam, Kim, and Ron split up in the cafeteria, talking about their plans for after school. Jazz was there to talk about the shopping trip with Kim and Sam. The boys were talking about what they wanted to do.
-
"I'm just saying, we should try the meditation thing." Tucker said to the other two boys. "I'm willing to be the test subject for being contaminated with your ecto." He said as he ate his lunch.
-
"I'm fine with testing it, but I think it has to be an already ecto-contaminated person to get backing for their powers." Danny told his longtime friend. He didn't think anything bad would happen but would try it if he was willing.
-
"Well keep me out of it. I'm already doing well enough without powers with Kim. I distracted Drakken on the cheese mission just fine without powers." Ron said and Rufus agreed with him.
-
"And that's fine for you, but I could only hold the thermos that time Danny fought Skulker at the Zoo. I want to do more than that." Tucker defended himself, a hint of frustration in his voice.
-
"We're not going to force you to do anything Ron. We'll have to think of something to do after we attempt that though." Danny told the two of them as he finished his lunch and passed some food to Scylla and Charybdis in his bag.
-
Tucker noticed this. "Danny, are you alright? I've been noticing that you don't eat as much as you usually do lately." He said, worried for his oldest friend.
-
"I'm fine, I just get full more easily. I don't know why. It might have to do with being a ghost more lately." Danny told Tucker as he pulled out some books to work on some homework. As he did so, there was a commotion in the cafeteria and Danny's ghost sense went off. Danny looked to find that it was Klemper.
-
The teachers in the cafeteria led the students out of the room, but teams Possible and Phantom stayed seated until it was empty. Danny and Kim stood up and walked over to Klemper with a smile on their faces. "Hey Klemper. Why are you here?" Kim asked the large pale blue ghost child.
-
"I wanted to hang out with my friends." Klemper said, hugging both Kim and Danny and squeezing them tightly together.
-
"That's nice, but you kinda chose a bad time for that dude." Tucker told the large ghost. "We still have school, I think. You may have saved us from spending the rest of the day at school." He told the giant ghost child.
-
"Yeah, it wasn't a good idea to appear in the middle of a bunch of humans like you just did." Danny told Klemper as he and Kim were let go. "Do you think you could go invisibly onto the roof and wait for me there? Kim and the girls have plans today." He offered the idea to the large ghost child.
-
"Okay. Sorry that I did a bad thing. I'll go wait." Klemper said as he followed the question like a command.
-
Sidney appeared next to the group of teenagers. "I'll keep watch over him. Are you really friends with him? Others don't like him much." Sid said, startling Ron.
-
"Well yeah. Klemper did save us from death by lava." Kim told her fully ghost friend, who nodded and flew up after Klemper. She turned to the boys. "So you'll go hang out with him for a little bit?" She asked them.
-
"I will, at least. I found out that I have Ice powers and want to test them. Klemper seems like as good a teacher as I can get for it. I don't know if Aranea can use ice." Danny told the redhead. Danny and the group started to head out of the cafeteria when Wade called Kim.
-
"I heard that a ghost was in your school and tried to turn off the cameras, but they were already off." Wade said as Kim answered the communicator.
-
"That was probably Sidney. He got a lot stronger at manipulating the school I think." Danny answered the computer kid.
-
"Oh, ok. Just thought something big was happening." Wade said, a little disappointed that he couldn't do anything.
-
"Also, neither of you needed to do that. All we did was talk and he just wanted to play with us. He's waiting on the roof as we speak." Kim told Wade. He nodded and hung up the call.
-
As the group of teenagers walked out of the cafeteria, the students were getting into their lockers. Mr. Lancer was watching over everything, and Kim went up to ask what was going on.
-
"Because of the ghost, school is letting out early. Why were you all still in the cafeteria? You could have gotten hurt." Mr. Lancer said as he looked over the group and back to the cafeteria. "What happened to the ghost?" He asked.
-
Danny spoke up at that. "We just talked to him and convinced him to leave without much arguing. He didn't know that appearing before a bunch of humans would cause such a commotion."
-
Mr. Lancer just sighed. "Why did you decide to talk to it?" He asked.
-
"Him sir. We actually met him during a mission in Wisconsin." Ron told the teacher. "He was a big help then."
-
"Very well, I can't change the decision to have you go home early, so get to your lockers and go home. I still expect homework to be on my desk on Monday." Mr. Lancer said before walking away from the group.
-
"A-Booya. Klemper saved us from half a day of school." Ron pumped his fist before the group dispersed to their lockers.
=
Danny, Tucker, and Ron met up behind the school. "Do you two want to hang out with Klemper with me or go home?" Danny asked his two friends.
-
"You always do something awesome when you hang out with ghosts alone." Tucker told Danny. "I want to have that much fun as well."
-
"Me too. An adventure without Kim sounds fun." Ron said to his two new friends. "I don't usually do that. So you better make this fun, so I have a story to tell Kim later."
-
Danny grabbed both Tucker and Ron and spread his aura to make them lighter and turned invisible before flying up to the roof to the waiting ghosts. Danny landed in front of the two ghosts and made the three of them visible.
-
"Hey friends." Klemper greeted with a huge hug that almost squeezed the life out of the three humans in his grip. He let them go after a moment and Tucker and Ron were hacking coughing, hunched over.
-
"You'll need to go easier on your hugs if you want human friends, Klemper." Danny told the ghost child. "They aren't as durable as Ghosts and Spirits." He informed him as he checked on his two human friends.
-
"I'm sorry." Klemper apologized to the two humans on the roof. "But what about the girl from before?" He asked with a worried tone.
-
Ron stood up, feeling better now. "Kim has a better tolerance for pain. She's also tougher than regular humans." He informed the pale blue ghost.
-
"So she's not hurt?" Klemper asked, hopeful that he didn't hurt another friend.
-
"Probably not. I've seen her get harder than what you did." Ron said to the group at large.
-
This worried Danny, but he didn't say anything because it could be seen as insulting to Ron if he didn't believe him. "So, Klemper, what do you want to do?" Danny asked.
-
This made the pale blue ghost excited. "I wanted to have a snowball fight in the far frozen." Klemper said excitedly, then became sad. "But if humans aren't as strong as Ghosts and Spirits, then maybe it's not a good idea. What do you want to do?" Klemper asked as he sat on the balls of his feet, looking at Tucker, who was still hunched over coughing.
-
Tucker stood up as he finished coughing. "If you can give us time to get some jackets or just cold weather gear, we can still have that snowball fight. As long as you make the snowballs soft for us humans." Tucker told the ghost child, who smiled and hugged Tucker, obviously holding back as when he let go Tucker wasn't having a coughing fit.
-
"Was that better?" Klemper asked and Tucker nodded and Klemper was so excited. "Okay, how fast can you get the clothes?" He asked the three of them
-
"I have two sets of winter mission suits and you both look like you can fit in them." Ron said to his two new human friends.
-
"Tucker can take it. I'm a halfa with Ice powers, so I should be fine for a while. I even tested it out today with a cold shower, but I didn't feel a thing." Danny told Ron. "How long would it take to get to your house for you? I need to follow Klemper first to find the Far Frozen, so you two are on your own after I take you down from the roof." Danny explained to his human friends.
-
"It's too far to walk I think." Ron said after thinking about it for a moment. "But I could get there faster if you let me borrow Scylla or Charybdis to fly on. There's an alleyway near my house. About 5 minutes from my house." Ron explained and Danny was thinking. "My parents are pretty chill, I just have to say that my new friend is taking me somewhere cold and they'll accept it." Ron tried to get his half dead friend to agree.
-
"Fine. You can take Scylla." Scylla then appeared into the visible spectrum and flew over to Ron and Tucker. "Be sure to be invisible the whole time, Scylla." He told the silver octopus, who nodded and grew at the side of the school building invisibly.
-
Ron and Tucker hesitated but Rufus proved that Scylla was still there and ran onto her. After Rufus ran on, the two humans climbed on before going invisible themselves.
-
Danny turned to his two ghost friends and transformed. "So, how are we going to the Far Frozen?" He asked Klemper.
-
Klemper just smiled and opened an icy blue portal. "I have a house there and can open a portal straight there. When I open it to leave, it takes me to a random place. I was lucky to find you twice." Klemper said proudly. "Now, come on. I want to show you my house." Klemper said as he flew into his portal and Danny and Sidney followed quickly after in fear of the portal closing after him.
-
The other side of the portal was rather spacious, it would have to be to fit Klemper. The walls were made of wood, as well as the ceiling and floors, though the floors had a bunch of rugs to decorate it, while the ceilings and walls only had windows. There was a large yellow couch with brown accents, and the rugs were a mix of blue, green, and purple. There was a fireplace that looked regular sized for humans.
-
"This place is pretty neat." Sidney said as he looked around.
-
"Yeah, I quite like the rugs here." Danny said as he looked at them more closely. The rugs were almost swirling in their colors. "I'd love to know where you got them." He said to Klemper.
-
"I got them from Frostbite's people." Klemper told Danny with a smile on his face. "I can see if they could make you one. They like me."
-
"I would like you to introduce me sometime instead. I don't want you to inadvertently lie to them in case they don't like outsiders. They might not like you if you do that." Danny explained to Klemper. He wanted a rug but also wanted to meet more good ghosts.
-
"That's smart. Frostbite's people don't like many people, though the person who made the rug interacts with a lot of people for work." Klemper said to the half ghost. "Anyway, let's go outside." Klemper made his way to his front door, and the other ghosts followed him out.
-
Klemper's cabin looked to be in the middle of a forest of pine trees. They had dark blue trunks and dark purple leaves with snow on them. The cabin looked grandiose with lanterns and a fenced in porch with large soft chairs and large fire pits placed periodically.
-
"Your cabin is awesome, Klemper. Did your friend make the cabin as well?" Danny asked, appreciating the architecture before turning back to Klemper and Sidney, who were whispering to each other.
-
"Actually, the cabin materialized the same as I did. The same goes for the fireplaces. The furniture was made by some friends though." Klemper said as he hid his hands behind his back, Sidney stood behind him.
-
"I'm fine if you want to start a snowball fight but remember to make them soft so as not to hurt our human friends." Danny said as he noticed a blue glow from behind Klemper. Both ghosts froze in place and chuckled, embarrassed, and Sidney pulled out the snowball and threw it at Danny. Danny let it hit and decided that it was decently soft for his friends. "That's a decently soft snowball for our human friends. Thank you for listening." Danny smiled at the ghost child.
-
Klemper blushed and hid his face in his hands. "I just don't want to hurt them." He mumbled into his hands. Sidney patted Klemper on his shoulder, proud of him.
-
Just then, Danny got a call from Tucker. "Hey Tuck. Are you ready for the snowball fight?" He asked, holding a hand to the two other ghosts, who were preparing another snowball.
-
"Yeah, we're at the alley near Ron's place. He was right though, his parents are really chill." Tucker said to his oldest friend. "I don't know what your parents are going to get from them about his involvement with hero work. We're ready for the portal now." Tucker told Danny.
-
"One moment." Danny said as he focused on Scylla's bond and opened a portal to that location. It was rather easy for that to happen. Tucker, Ron and Scylla walked, or floated in Scylla's case, through the portal before it closed. "Welcome to Klemper's Cabin." Danny gestured to the large building next to him.

Jazz, Sam, and Kim were perusing the black and purple clothing at Club Banana. Sam was being difficult as all the options that Jazz and Kim picked out because they were leather or environmentally unfriendly. They were still able to pick out a few outfits for Sam. Kim froze and groaned, Jazz and Sam stopped and saw that Paulina, Bonnie and their clique had entered the store.
-
"Let's go buy these and go check out another store." Kim suggested the idea to the other two girls. They nodded and headed for the counter to pay for the clothing.
-
"Oh look here. Kim is doing a charity case for the goth chick. Maybe she can help her get a new personality." Bonnie said, blocking the three girls from leaving the counter.
-
Sam growled at the cheerleading diva. "Maybe you should get one, that way, if it were a puddle, my feet would get wet." She said, ignoring the attempts from the other two girls to keep her quiet.
-
Bonnie had a befuddled look on her face. "What does that even mean?" She asked no one in particular.
-
"Maybe you should buy a brain because she just called you shallow." The girl at the counter behind Sam and the others, her name tag says Monique, said. "Now, if you could kindly let them leave, that would be great. I need the counter free for the other customers." Monique said to the group of divas.
-
The diva group was so shocked at being told off, that they complied to her demand and let Jazz, Sam, and Kim through. Bonnie and Paulina got their bearings first and tripped Sam as she was passing them.
-
"Okay, that's it!" Sam exclaimed as she got up and prepared to punch one of the queen divas when she got hit by a box flying around.
-
"Beware! It is I, the Box Ghost. Fear all that is paper and cubed." The Box Ghost came out from the back of Club Banana's storage room. The diva group screamed and ran away from the ghost.
-
"We're aware dude. My friend caught you before." Sam told the Box Ghost as she pulled out a wrist laser from her pocket and blasted the blue ghost in purple overalls. The blast hit and knocked the Box Ghost out cold. "Kim, you might want to call Phantom for his thermos before Boxy wakes up." Sam told the red headed hero.
-
Kim nodded and pulled Wade up on her communicator. "Wade, can you connect me to Phantom? He should be in the Infinite Realms playing with Klemper."
-
"One moment Kim. Trying to connect through a dimension is a little hard. Give me five minutes." Wade told his friend as he clicked a lot of keys on his keyboard. "Oh! There seems to be a portal opened close to him. Give me a moment to catch his phone." Wade said as he worked. "There. Here you go Kim." He hung up and the screen showed Danny in a winter forest.
-
"Hey Kim, what happened?" Danny asked, worried for his friends and sister. A snowball flew past his head as he was talking. "Sorry, we just started our snowball fight. Guys, I'm on the phone." He said to the other boys off screen.
-
"I need the thermos. The Box Ghost made an appearance at Club Banana." Kim said in an annoyed voice.
-
"What, overalls not in fashion?" Danny teased. "One moment and I'll pass you the thermos. Just be sure to take it to Fenton Works after, okay. I'll need to release him at some point." Danny explained as he opened a small portal. Kim shivered at the cold that shot out of it. Danny's hand, holding the thermos, came out. "Here. Remember to take it to Fenton Works." Danny reminded the redhead.
-
"I got it, see you later Phantom." She hung up the call just as Danny got hit by another snowball. Kim activated the thermos and sucked in the Box Ghost just as he was waking up. The Box Ghost had just enough time to scream 'Beware!' before Kim closed the thermos on him. Kim deactivated the thermos and put it in her bag.
-
"That was crazy." Monique said as Kim helped put some tables up right again. "I'm Monique by the way. Thanks for dealing with whatever that was." She thanked Kim and Sam, the latter blushing at the thanks.
-
"That was quick thinking, Sam. Good aim with the wrist blaster." Jazz praised her brother's goth friend. Said goth friend's blush just got deeper at that.
-
"You two have the same wrist blasters." Sam deflected as she helped Kim and Monique right the chaos that the Box Ghost caused.
-
"I left mine at home." Jazz said as she joined the girls in cleaning the store.
-
"I prefer the gauntlets and I didn't even grab them today." Kim said as she was helping Monique fold some clothing and putting them on the corresponding table.
=
After Club Banana was cleaned up, Jazz, Sam, and Kim left, getting Monique's number and a promise to hang out soon before doing so. Monique also gave them Club Banana gift cards as thanks for help cleaning.
-
"After all of that, I'm not really feeling like going shopping for clothes." Kim said to Jazz and Sam. "Well Sam, this is supposed to be your shopping trip, anywhere you want to check out?" She asked her goth friend.
-
Sam thought about it for a moment. "Well, there is one shop that I want to go to, but it was more for research on the Infinite Realms and other Ghosts and Spirits. I've been meaning to go for some time, but things kept popping up." Sam explained to the two other girls. "It's not in the mall though." She said, confliction showing on her face. "Where do you two want to go?" Sam asks, thinking she might hate their choices.
-
"Well, we just left my favorite place. So Jazz, where do you want to go?" Kim asked her fellow redhead, still not wanting to go clothes shopping.
-
"My favorite bookstore should have got a delivery of new psychology books. We could go there." Jazz suggested to Sam and Kim, who both accepted her choice and followed her to her bookstore.
+
Danny, Tucker, Sidney, Ron, and Klemper were in Klemper's cabin, trying to warm up the humans in the group. Sidney was also sitting close to the fire himself as he didn't have any ice powers.
-
"How come you don't need the fire?" Klemper asked Danny as they were both sitting on the couch.
-
"I think it's because I have Ice powers. One of the reasons I wanted to hang out with you was to find out how you make your Ice." Danny admitted to the pale blue ghost.
-
"You want me to teach you?" Klemper asked excitedly and stood up, pulling Danny with him. "You three stay there. I'm gonna teach!" Klemper told the other three boys, who gave their acknowledgements next to the fire.
-
Klemper pulled Danny out into the forest, far from the cabin and into a clearing that had ice pillars placed periodically around the edge of it. "What is this place?" Danny asked Klemper as he finally stopped pulling him.
-
"This is where Frostbite and his people train their children to use their Ice powers. I also learned here after I kept doing bad things with my Ice." Klemper explained to his halfa friend. "I'm sure they won't mind if I use it to teach you." Klemper said before Danny had a chance to ask.
-
"If you're sure, I'll trust you." Danny told Klemper, who squealed in delight at hearing that. "What happens if any of your friends come to the cabin while we're here? You said they don't like outsiders." Danny asked worried about his friends.
-
"You don't have to worry about that, they don't come out here that often, and I sometimes help warm people up in my cabin enough that they won't care." Klemper explained before he sat crosswise in the center of the clearing.
"Now, the first thing they had me do is called 'controlled meditation'. It's supposed to help you control your core and pull out your core's power." Klemper began his lesson and Danny sat across from him and prepared to go into a trance.
"The person who worked with me said that I should imagine my core as a giant snowball and to pull out the power was to make smaller snowballs and imagine them going into my hands and out of them. They also said that it is supposed to be different for each person, so I don't know how helpful that will be." Klemper explained, scratching his head at the end.
-
"I think I understand. Let me try it really quick." Danny told the icy ghost child. Danny closed his eyes and went inwards to look at his core. The giant orb had a blue tint to it. 'Probably because I'm in an icy area.' Danny thought to himself. Danny went back to his body and willed the blue energy into his aura. Danny then called the energy to his hand and made an icicle floating above his open palm.
-
"Amazing! You are really smart, I can't even do that." Klemper said to Danny. "I have seen the yetis make items with ice before. Can you do that?" Klemper asked with wonderment in his red eyes.
-
"I can try." Danny told the child. "Give me a moment to do it." Danny furrowed his brow and willed more energy into the icicle into a sword, as that is the easiest shape for an icicle. He gave it a handle and slid his opposite hand and willed it to flatten the icicle's top part and thins one edge.
Danny handed the shoddy sword to Klemper. "Sorry it doesn't look so cool. I'll need to practice a lot to make the cooler stuff." Danny said as he tried to catch his breath and lay down in the snow.
-
Klemper looked at the sword with wide eyes. "Is this mine now?" He asks the halfa, who nods and takes in deep breaths. "Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've never been given a present before." Klemper said, hugging the sword close to his chest.
-
"Really? Sorry it's not that well-made then. I would have tried to put more effort in it." Danny said as he caught his breath and sat back up. "Do you want me to make you another one?" He asks the cold child, who looks conflicted.
-
"Will I still keep this one?" Klemper held up the first sword as he asked.
-
Danny chuckled at the question. "Of course Klemper. It's yours now." He told Klemper, who hugs the sword close again. Danny took a slow breath and called on the ice energy again, but with an image in his head about what he wanted it to look like. It had a cross guard just above the handle and the blade was dual edged with an indentation in the center of the blade that stopped before it reaches the tip of the sword. As Danny finishes the sword, blackness takes him.
=
Danny wakes up in Klemper's Cabin on his large couch. Danny sat up slowly and looked around to find that his friends were talking by the fireplace. When Klemper noticed that Danny was awake, he hugged Danny while crying. "I'm so sorry Danny. I shouldn't have pushed you to make another sword." Klemper let go after he said that.
-
"You didn't push me to do anything, Klemper. I made you another sword because I wanted to." Danny told the crying ghost child. "So please don't cry." He patted Klemper's shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. "Can I see the sword I made?" Danny asked and Klemper chose to comply by showing both of the swords. One was definitely better than the other.
Danny picked up the sword that made him black out and examined it. It was well made, by his eyes at least, and looked like it could take a few hits. Danny gave the sword back to Klemper. "Now you have two swords. Take good care of them, you hear me?" Danny smirked before looking at his shivering friends. "We should probably get going. I don't think my friends can take much more of the cold here."
-
Klemper nodded and opened a portal for us to walk through. Everyone looked at him curiously until Sidney spoke up. "Didn't you say that your portals out of your cabin are random?" Klemper blushed and closed the portal.
-
"I'll take care of the portals out, okay?" Danny asked as he made a portal to Sidney's realm.
-
"Okay, but how will I find you all again?" Klemper asked, worried he wouldn't see his new friends again.
-
"We'll visit at some point. Maybe with better winter clothes." Tucker said to the worried ghost, who hugged him softly.
-
"You better." Klemper said with a strangely stern voice.
-
"I certainly will. I still need you to teach me ice, don't I?" Danny said with a smile and open arms for a hug, which Klemper gave him at full force.
-
"Yes you do. There are a lot of things that the yetis tried to teach me, that I can try to teach you." Klemper said and he started mumbling to himself and let Danny go. "I'll have that settled before you come back." He said as Danny opened a portal to Sidney's realm.
-
Everyone, minus Klemper, walked through to find the roof of the ghostly school. When Sidney walked through he knelt down, clutching his head in pain. "Something's attacking my realm. I don't know what, but it's attacking near your house." He told Danny. Who decided to fly off, leaving the three others to themselves.
-
Danny flew quickly to the ghostly counterpart of Fenton Works to find a group of coordinated attackers at the edge of the island that Sid's realm rides on. They were all wearing the same kind of jacket. 'Looks like a gang.' Danny thought to himself.
